7 milliards de voisins
Quel accès et quel partage de l'eau ?

7 milliards de voisins

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 27, 2026 48:30

Programmation musicale :  ► Ya Nob Bandit Bi - Jahman X-Press ► Out of orbit - Flox.

Krishna Consciousness Movement Can Start Anew From Your Place | HG Vaisesika Dasa | Feb 2023

Śrī Advaita Ācārya's place is indicative of how the Kṛṣṇa conscious movement starts. It's a small place out in the countryside, and anyone can start a Kṛṣṇa conscious wave from anywhere. How is it done? Advaita Ācārya's penchant is for presenting the Bhagavad-gītā As It Is. Many people present the Bhagavad-gītā, but then they give some mal‑interpretation. They say Kurukṣetra means “the senses.” They say Kṛṣṇa doesn't really mean Kṛṣṇa when He says “surrender unto Me”; it just means “surrender to the unborn within Kṛṣṇa,” whatever the heck that means—which ultimately means you can do whatever you want. Advaita Ācārya—and the reason He's called Ācārya—is because He teaches the Bhagavad-gītā As It Is. It's from this place that He would hold forth every day and speak the truth of the Bhagavad-gītā. And people would come to His class. So this is what we can do also. Someone might say, “Oh, I don't have any service. What can I do?” It's like: Do you have a Bhagavad-gītā As It Is? Anyone? If not, see me afterwards. If you have a Bhagavad-gītā, (better you have a few boxes) invite some people to your house. And what will you give them to eat? Śāk. Give them a little śāk and fried cream. If you give nice prasādam, people will come—even if they don't like philosophy. When we first started, Nirākulā and I began a program at our house that went for sixteen years, and we had people come over every week. When it first started, I was putting together some very simple prasādam. We had dates and mascarpone cheese and just a few little snack‑like things. And we were getting, you know, one person, three people, five people. And then Nirākulā started cooking all of everyone's favorites—pies, macaroni and cheese—and then all of a sudden we couldn't fit everybody in the house. Then I realized the formula for the Kṛṣṇa conscious movement: If you cook, they will come. And then if you have a discussion on the Bhagavad-gītā, even if you don't know the philosophy well, that's okay. It's written down. You just read it and discuss it, and a magic happens—and that is, people's hearts change when they hear that actually God is a person, and we're sparks of that person. We're also persons, just like Kṛṣṇa. We're His expansions, and we're also His servants, and there is service to do. Chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa is the Yuga‑dharma—simple things—and people suddenly feel aligned, like, “Yes, I can do this too.” And yes, you can, from any little spot—wherever you might live, out in the country or in the middle of a big city. If you hold a Bhagavad-gītā class, then people will come, and the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement will start anew from your place. Because it's the vibration that comes from the Bhagavad-gītā, as presented by Advaita Ācārya that actually sustains the Kṛṣṇa conscious movement. It has nothing to do with our infrastructure. You can have brick and mortar here, there, and everywhere, but unless you have the vibration of the Bhagavad-gītā As It Is, you don't have anything different from the downtown buildings you find in Minneapolis, Minnesota, or Cincinnati, Ohio—any other place; they're all the same. What defines a realm is the sound vibration of that realm, and what defines our lives is the sound vibration that we take in on a daily basis. The new year serves as a natural moment for reflection and reset. This sense of starting over seems to be connected with cycles in nature and the sky. Humanity has long been fascinated with celestial events – of which there are many to look forward to in 2026 – the “Year of the Fire Horse” in the Chinese Zodiac. Our emotions, behaviors, and relationships have come to be associated with the movements of planetary bodies. Understanding these cycles can help with self-awareness, emotional balance, and personal growth. Tonight, Jeremy Scott sits in for Clyde Lewis and is joined by astrologers Mary Dusina and Jeff Harman They discuss ‘The Cosmic Reset' – a coming global transformation marked by geopolitical tensions, unrest, and days of disclosure during what could be one of the most game-changing cycles this century.

Wanda Wen, founder and creative force behind Soolip, is celebrated for her unremitting romance with the artisanal and the inherent beauty of things touched by hand. Established on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood in 1995, and now nestled in Westlake Village, Soolip was built upon a profound love of paper - the tactile, expressive medium that continues to inspire Wen's world of refined artistry and soulful luxury.   A USC business graduate and former New York fashion executive with Perry Ellis and Stephen Sprouse, Wen blends business acumen with a discerning eye for art, style, and meaningful detail. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Town & Country, Better Homes & Gardens, and more, and she has appeared on The Today Show, HGTV, and as a judge on Freeform's Wrap Battle alongside Carson Kressley and Sheryl Underwood. Author of The Art of Gift Wrapping (Potter Craft/Random House), Wen is also known as America's “go-to gift wrap stylephile.” A dedicated yogi and teacher, Wen infuses mindfulness into all she creates. She co-launched YogaLand Game in 2018, an experiential board game for yoga enthusiasts that unites her passions for design, creativity, and uplifting others, and is set to launch YogaLand version 2, for the young generation ages 6 - 12, in Spring 2026. In today's episode, Nada talks with Wanda about her lifestyle brand and its evolution over the decades, all while managing to remain true to its original mission statement. Wanda takes us back to the beginning when her love of beauty and letter writing coalesced into a paper company that started in her garage, and details for us the flagship store's rapid growth into several niche markets. She explains the meaning behind the name “Soolip” and encourages us with the life mantras that keep her and her business grounded. And offers listeners a chance to engage in upcoming workshops and yoga lessons. For more information, visit Soolip's website. Mercylyn Odibo, author of X-Rays of Little Hopes, opens up about her powerful journey from heartbreak to healing and creative purpose. Once unsure if her book would ever be published, she now celebrates a story that connects faith, love, and human resilience. Her novel centers on Prue, a woman who experiences betrayal, disillusionment, and profound loss before rediscovering herself and her faith. Through Prue's eyes, readers witness the pain of misplaced trust, the desperation to be loved, and the beauty of rebuilding after devastation. The story reflects Mercylyn's desire to help others who have felt broken find meaning, courage, and hope again. In the episode, Mercylyn explains how X-Rays of Little Hopes was born from her longtime habit of journaling and her passion for storytelling. She began with the title itself, which symbolized how even the tiniest spark of hope can light the darkest moments. The novel took years to shape, combining her own reflections with the experiences of others who inspired her. She wanted to write something more than a simple romance, creating a story that tackles real emotions and social issues—betrayal, loss of trust, false expectations in relationships, and the danger of ignoring red flags for the sake of love. The result is a faith-based novel that feels genuine and relatable, not preachy. While rooted in Christian values, it is also designed for readers who want a good story about imperfect people finding redemption. Quotes: “The best, most beautiful thing anybody can do for themselves is be who they are. Love yourself and do the best you can.” “There's always a yes for every no, and not giving up is key.” “Don't let anyone define who you are... Pray every day, because good things come out of something bad.” Resources: X-rays of Little Hopes are available on Amazon Follow Mercylyn Odibo on Facebook Discover more of Mercylyn's inspiring stories

Is it wrong to read the Old Testament with out constantly looking for Jesus in every passage? Many Christians assume that if we're not readind the Old Testament (should we even call is that?) through the lens of the New, we're somehow missing the gospel - or worse, denying it all together. In this episdoe, we unpack the misconceptions surrounding that idea.    We'll explore why understanding the Old Testament on its own terms doesn't diminish Christ - it actually deepens our understanding of Him. From the coventant promises and prophetic hopes to the rich picture of God's character and grace, the Old Testament holds its own sacred voice within the grand story of redemption.  Join us as we talk about what's lost when we rish to the New Testament too quickly, and what's gained when we let the Old Testament speak for itself- before seeing how it beautifully leads us to Jesus.

Episode #1053 In this episode, Drew shares his raw, honest story of what it took to hit rock bottom and why that moment became the turning point that changed everything. You'll hear how he went from nearly losing his marriage to discovering a version of himself he didn't know existed. This isn't about fixing everything overnight. It's about learning the tools to stop pretending, take responsibility, and show up fully, first for yourself, then for the people who matter most. Whether you're feeling stuck, distant in your relationship, or just tired of carrying the weight alone, this conversation offers something different: clarity, connection, and a real way forward. No fluff. No clichés. Just the truth from a man who's been through it. We talk about the gap between knowing and feeling, why "leading with love" isn't soft, and how freedom often comes after facing what you've been avoiding. If you're ready to step into a new version of yourself, this one's worth your time. Want to learn the tools Drew used to get started? Get the free training at https://fixmarriage.thepowerfulman.com/scales. It's built to help men reconnect with their power and start leading again, without begging, blaming, or talking it to death.
