Mike Tanier capped off hour two with a recap from all the games in NFL week 5. He also gave a preview for tonight's Monday nighter.

We are so back baby! What a weekend it was. We started today's show off with some Jays home run songs, courtesy of Vladdy, Springer and Kirk! Vibes are high on today's show and as they should be. What a great weekend it was. Morning Announcements from Rundle Park Short Course was the first segment we hit on today's show. McDavid still hasn't resigned with the Oil… the boys discussed. After the break it was time to discuss some good ol' football, both CFL and NFL. The fellas touched on all the big games from the NFL and recapped all three games in the CFL. We finished hour one with our good, our bad and our ugly from the weekend presented by The Seven Eighty.

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia. It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda. He gave his thoughts on the Knoblauch extension that just broke a few minutes prior, then touched on McDavid and gave his thoughts on when he thinks he will resign or if he will. Plenty of Oilers talk in this segment. It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day. We then hit MMMMMM That's Good presented by The Italian Centre Shop. Today we discussed how good tomorrow is going to be to watch the Blue Jays in the postseason. Where are you watching?! To cap off hour two, our NFL insider Mike Garafolo joined the show presented by Bluewater Mobil LUBRICANTS. He first touched on last night's Thursday nighter. He gave his thoughts on all the major headlines in the NFL and gave a preview to some of the more notable games in week five.

We are back with another edition of The Nielson Show! Dusty is away calling some games, so the one, the only, Dave Jamieson is stepping in for the big man. The fellas catchup, as it's been a while since they've shared the airwaves. They wasted no time getting into Morning Announcements presented by The Rundle Park Short Course. In this segment, the fellas briefly touched on last night's Thursday nighter, the Yankees beating the Red Sox and previewed week 18 in the CFL. After the sports update, it was time for Preseason, What Preseason presented by GCL Diesel. We touched on a potential McDavid extension coming on Monday and what we learned from the team this preseason. We finished off hour one with a huge shout out to Wayne's Sports Cards & Collectables.

It's Thursday, which means another edition of Scalding Hot Takes! After that, we dipped into the Courageous Moment by Alberta Blue Cross. What's courageous this week was YTT's performance at yesteday's chilli cook off. The boys finished off the show with The Wrap from William Huff!

Luke Gazdic was the first guest on today's show! He first touched on his summer and some Blue Jays talk. Then the Oilers talk began. He gave his thoughts on Connor McDavid's situation, how Savoie and Howard have looked in the preseason thus far and finished with some words on the Oilers trading for Connor Ingram. It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day. In the middle of the hour we got right into I Got Beef! As usual, great beefs from all the boys today. To cap off hour two, Reid Wilkins stopped by. He shared his thoughts on jury duty, touched on Ingram getting traded to Edmonton and finished with his thoughts on a Connor McDavid extension in Edmonton.
