Frank kicked things off with his perspective on the ongoing situation with Connor Hellebuyck before shifting the focus straight to Oil Country. He analyzed whether Mike Babcock has already put his personal stamp on the locker room, identified who he sees as the ultimate X-factor for Edmonton, and weighed in on whether the Oilers remain true Stanley Cup contenders. From there, the conversation shifted to the bigger picture in Oil Country, debating if the Oilers are still firm Stanley Cup contenders heading into the season. We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.    It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.   It's Thursday, which means we've got another edition of Scalding Hot Takes. Who will win the elusive mitt today?    We finished the show like we always do with The Wrap from William Huff.

Mike dropped by to give the fellas and the Nasties a complete breakdown on the Patriots, sharing his take on their offseason moves and setting expectations for what's ahead this year.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   It's Wednesday, which means it's time for the boys to hash out their beefs of the week.   Hour two was capped off by Rob Brown who covers the Panthers. He gave the boys all we need to know about the Panthers heading into the upcoming season.

The Toronto Blue Jays got right back into the win column yesterday with a clutch 3–0 shutout victory over the Kansas City Royals—snapping KC's 9-game win streak! This was for Morning Announcements presented by The Haddies Golf Shop.   We finally have some Oilers news to discuss, several Oilers players are injured and won't be able to play until late October, so the boys discussed this.   We then had some more ESTY's discussion to cap off hour one. Today, the boys discussed who should be the show of the year. Can The Nielson Show with Lt. Eric three peat?
