We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia!   Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda got us to the to the sports update.    Ryan Rishaug was the final guest on today's show. He gave his thoughts on the Oilers & Kings series, touched on Byfield and possibility of him breaking out this series. Jeff Skinner is not projected to be on McDavid's line which Rishaug had some thoughts on…   It was then time for a 'Snow Report' brought to you by Marmot Basin. Tonight, the quest for the Stanley Cup starts. The Oilers take on the L.A. Kings in L.A. So you know we had to start the show with some bangers… which is exactly what we did.   We hit The Morning Announcements presented by 100.3 The Bear to recap everything over the weekend… starting with a pretty lackluster.   Right after the first sports update, we gave our thoughts on what or who we think needs to step up the most for this series.   We finished the first hour of today's show with our good, bad and ugly for the weekend presented by The Seven 80!

Darren Dreger got the second hour started with his thoughts on the Oilers & Kings series that starts later tonight. Touched on what he expects from Jeff Skinner as this is his first postseason. Darren finished with his thoughts on how much of a game changer Quinton Byfield could be…   Like we always do, we gave our Hotline of The Day presented by Coolbet Canada. The hour started with the 24' playoff song then we swung into ‘The Fan Zone' presented by FansFirst and got a feel for what the fans expect this series to look like along with the boys outlook for the whole first round. Then the boys aired out some things in ‘I got Beef' for Acme Meats, mostly the Sunday-Monday split. And quickly before the sports update the fellas hit the ‘Hot Line of the Day' presented by Coolbet. Starting the second half of hour two, Bruce Boudreau for Pro Am Sports joined the boys to talk Oilers vs Kings, other first round matchups and some wrestling. The new playoff song debuted just before Reid Wilkins jumped on to bring a taste of ‘The Reid Wilkins Show' to our morning, finishing the second hour. 

‘Kind of Easy Trivia' presented by Mr. Mikes kicked off our third hour and Big G nailed it. It turns out LT.E was a wrestler and we found that out in ‘Three Questions Too Many' presented by Park Mazda. Just before the sports update the boys got ‘Fired Up' presented by Gemco. Coming out of it Gager jumped on to judge ‘Hot Takes' presented by The Ranch after some questions about last weeks ruling. ‘Beer of the Week' presented by Sobeys & Safeway Liquor moved to Thursday for Easter and it was welcomed to the change with a Summer taste. To close out the show, the ‘Snow Report' presented by Marmot Basin was covered and then of course ‘The Wrap' presented by Willam Huff.

The boys told some stories to start the final show of the week before touching on first and last names on the ‘The Morning Announcements' presented by 100.3 The Bear. Out of the sports update the conversation kept up before we dove into The Morning After Show and did you know Stu posted a 0.00 GAA?! And to finish the first hour the boys got some baseball cards in ‘The Crack Pack' presented by Wayne's Sports Cards. 

The first round of the NHL playoffs are officially set, the RBC Heritage tees off, the NBA has played the first two legs of the Play-In Tournament which means the boys will be slammed on another edition of The Lock Shop. Once the boys sat down together they answered 'Three Questions Too Many' presented by Park Mazda and ran through ‘The Orange & Blue Breakfast' presented by GCL Diesel as the Oilers finish the season in San Jose. After the sports update Greg Wyshynski from ESPN jumped on to talk a bit of wrestling, the Nurse suspension, the Oilers playoffs outlook as well as the rest of the leagues playoffs. Once Greg left we got the top 10 names for Dusty's best friend bachelor style show in the ‘Weekly Rankings of Power' presented by LT.E. Next the boys did the ‘Snow Report' presented by Marmot Basin and finished with ‘The Wrap' presented by William Huff. 

Starting the second hour, hockey insider, Jamie McLennan joined the boys for Pro Am Sports to talk about the Nurse cross-check, the Oilers roster for a playoff run, Darcy Kuemper and the battle of Ontario. Before the sports update Dusty broke down some betting lines for Coolbet's ‘Hot Line of the Day.' After the update, the boys gave you some ‘Free Advice' for Dusty's personal friend, Damon Bunting. Rounding out the hour the boys welcomed legal analyst Eric Macramalla to the program presented by Park Mazda and after finding out about fridges in cars, we talked some East coast hockey. 

The boys laid out the show before talking about more teams clinching in the NHL for ‘The Morning Announcements' presented by 100.3 The Bear. Out of the sports update the fellas jumped into ‘The Fan Zone' presented by FansFirst and we heard from Conner McDavid. And closing out the hour ‘MMMM That's Good!' presented by the Italian Centre opened up the playoff matchups across the NHL further and the Bison King talk was abundant. 

Dusty, Hus and Gregoire lock in for a hump day edition of The Lock Shop. The boys lay down some preview on the RBC Heritage which tees off tomorrow, the NHL slate and the 9-10 matchup of the NBA's Play-In Tournament. Game 81 of 82 in the regular season wrapped up with the Oilers challenging the Kings and falling 5-0 in a scrappy affair.   Tom Gazzola and Matt Kassian discuss the matchup while teeing up the postseason series between the Oilers and Kings.   Gazzola continues sharing his thoughts on the game when Reid Wilkins, host of The Reid Wilkins Show, clicks in afterward to chat about the highlights and lowlights that he saw tonight.

The third hour kicked off with ‘Kind of Easy Trivia' presented by Mr. Mikes when Vaughn smashed the questions. After the fellas got to ‘Three Questions Too Many' presented by Park Mazda and it was focused on the Oilers first round matchup. After the sports update Joaquin Gage from the Sportsnet panel and EST Afternoons jumped on with the fellas to chat about the upcoming playoffs and F1 for Pro Am Sports. The ‘Snow Report' for Marmot Basin closed out the show just before ‘The Wrap' presented by William Huff. 

Craig Button joined the program for Pro Am Sports to talk about the Oilers chances of flipping a switch in the playoffs among other things orange and blue. After Craig and before the update the fellas got into the ‘Hot Line of the Day' presented by Coolbet. Out of the sports update, the boys did ‘The Weekly Confessions' presented by Spectrum Rent All and as always… it was fun. Then finishing the hour the boys got ‘Fired Up' for Gemco. 

The Oilers glided to a 4-1 victory over the Jets, with both teams having a bit of a different lineup from usual! Plus, Stuart Skinner made his first start since March 26th, stopping 17/18 shots!   Tom Gazzola, Zachary Kubusch and former NHLers Matt Kassian recap it all as they get your thoughts on the contest while discussing the key moments and dissecting the game to tee up the back-to-back against the Kings tomorrow night!   After that, the fellas dive into the Oilers' locker room to hear from Connor Brown, Adam Henrique and Head Coach Kris Knoblauch!

Today's edition of The Oil Stream will be filled with updates on injuries, the expected lineup after morning skate and whatever else their conversation takes them too. Jamie McLennan joined the fellas for Pro Am Sports, to start the second hour to talk about the infamous incident at the Masters, the NHL season coming to a wrap and of course the Oilers. Right before the sports update, the EST parlay was drawn up. Out of the update the boys covered the Will Smith movies before some Stu talk for ‘The Fan Zone' presented by FansFirst. Gazdic finished with who he thinks should be the starting goalie for the Oilers come game 83.   We then did an EST first. It's a game day so the fellas have a jam packed show coming your way this fine Thursday morning.   We laid out the show before we dove into Morning Announcements presented by 100.3 The Bear to briefly touch on the passing of the late great Bruce McCurdy. We then recapped Ovi's chase, the Oil Kings series and the Blue Jays current record.   After the first update, it was time for The Fan Zone presented by FansFirst to give update on the Oilers roster going forward. We discussed whether or not Rodrique will get the nod in net on this road trip, when we'll see Frederic and discussed the Oilers new signing's…   To finish off hour one, we dove into Fired Up from Gemco Fireplaces! Today, we're fired up about the CFL announcing their new commissioner.

Bruce Boudreau was the first guest on today's show! After a beautiful entrance, he gave his thoughts on Ovechkin's great chase and gave some love to his former player, he touched on the Caps and Hurricanes physical affair from last night, and then finished with his thoughts on the Oilers game tonight against the Sharks. This was another all timer.   In the middle of the second hour it was time for the fellas to I Got Beef from Acme Meat Market! Lots of good ol' funny beef today.   Reid Wilkins finished off hour two with his reasoning as to why he's taking days off, touched on his experience from seeing Mattias Ekholm last night and finished with his thoughts on the new commissioner in the CFL.
