We are back with another edition of The Nielson Show and today it's Matt Iwanyk and Wil Fraser! The fellas start off the show by recapping their summer's thus far. Wil gave Matt and the nasties some advice on where to travel in the rockies that are just as beautiful as Banff and Jasper… but not nearly as busy.   We then dipped into Morning Announcements from 100.3 The Bear to recap all the big stories from last night in the world of sport. We primarily discussed Canadian Tennis, in particular Genie Bouchard announcing her retirement from professional tennis.   After the update, Mike Hogan, voice of the Toronto Argos joined the show. He started off with his thoughts on the Argos season thus far. Touched on Chad Kelly, and how much this team has been missing him.

To start off hour two, the fellas went around the room for I Got Beef presented by Acme Meat Market! YTT had beef about technology, in particular Bluetooth. Frase had beef about people not using cruise control on the highway… and Matty had beef with Joaquin Gage, as he broke the studio tv yesterday.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   Reid Wilkins joined the show in the middle of the second hour. He gave his thoughts on the Oilers schedule being released yesterday, touched on which new Oilers will impress this season and which ones will disappoint. Reid finished on what his favourite golf event of the year is to watch.

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.   It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda. He touched on how he started coaching and when he knew that this was something he wanted to pursue. He touched on his experience with the new goalie coach… if he remembers? The new commish of the CFL, Stewart Johnston got the party started at the top of the second hour. Stewart addressed how successful his visit with all 9 teams was, touched on the growth of tailgates and where he sees them going in the future and finding the balance between keeping die hard fans entertained while trying to engage new fans as well.
