We are back with another edition of The Nielson Show and today it's Matt Iwanyk and Wil Fraser! The fellas start off the show by recapping their summer's thus far. Wil gave Matt and the nasties some advice on where to travel in the rockies that are just as beautiful as Banff and Jasper… but not nearly as busy.   We then dipped into Morning Announcements from 100.3 The Bear to recap all the big stories from last night in the world of sport. We primarily discussed Canadian Tennis, in particular Genie Bouchard announcing her retirement from professional tennis.   After the update, Mike Hogan, voice of the Toronto Argos joined the show. He started off with his thoughts on the Argos season thus far. Touched on Chad Kelly, and how much this team has been missing him.

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.   It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda. Today we discussed how good CFL fantasy is, and the massive trade in the KERFLOAT.   We finished the hour by going through some ESTY categories for this year's ESTY's!

The Open Championship gets underway tomorrow… so the first guest on today's show is Geoff Ulrich, Draft Kings Golf Analyst! He gave us some very good insight on who he thing's will win this years major. Touched on some underdogs. He finished with his thoughts on Canadian Nick Taylor as he's being playing great as of late.   After Geoff, we made a huge announcement…The Edmonton Sports Talk Labour Day Bus, presented by Canadian Club! Today, Dusty was fired up about the Bleacher Report top 20 NBA players of all time.

Legendary CFL voice, Rod Smith joined Dusty at the top of the first hour. He gave his thoughts out East, touched on the cheat code of Bo Levi-Mitchell and Kenny Lawler are. He then gave his thoughts on Tre Ford, what his thoughts on the QB's season have been thus far and how short of a leash he has now.   Like we always do, it was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   In the middle of the second hour, we hit Weekly Confessions from Spectrum Rent All! Plus he is a fan favorite known as the “Hit-Man” because of his hard-hitting play. When the team moved to Nashville as the Tennessee Titans, Bishop and his accompanying defense took the team to new heights, becoming the pinnacle of NFL defenses. The eighth-round pick earned four Pro Bowls in his nine years with the Titans; helping the team win their first AFC Championship Game and advance to the Super Bowl. In addition, Bishop earned Pro-Bowl starts in 1995, 1996, 1997, and 2000 and a three-time All-Pro selection in 1995, 1996, and 2000. We are back with our first Nielson Show of the week! Lots of laughs to start today's show as we dove into everyone's weekends. YTT gave us a quick update on tanning with his land lord Alex…   We then dipped into Morning Announcements from 100.3 The Bear to recap everything that transpired over the weekend in the world of sport.   After the first update we got right into Offseason, What Offseason to discuss what we think the Oilers will do come July 1st.   To finish hour one, we gave our good, our bad and our ugly from the weekend presented by The Seven Eighty!

Darren Dreger got hour two started with his initial thoughts on this year's NHL draft and whether or not he thinks the league will go back to it's traditional ways. Dreger then gave his thoughts on John Gibson being traded to the Detroit Red Wings… What does this mean for the Oilers??? Dreger finished with his thoughts on Mitch Marner becoming a Vegas Golden Knight and will the Oilers be able to resign Corey Perry?   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   In the middle of the second hour, it was time for MMMMMM That's Good presented by Italian Centre Shop. There was some Brock Boeser talk sprinkled in this segment… but the majority of this segment was spent on some CFL Fantasy discussion Dusty had with the new CFL commish.

We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.   It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.   Ryan Rishaug was the final guest on today's show. He gave his initial thoughts on the Kasperi Kapanen signing from this morning and touched on why the number makes sense. It looks like Noah Philp will get a good look in the lineup next season in which he had some thoughts on. Shaugger then touched on when a potential Arvidsson trade could happen. He finished with if there is any legitimacy to Boeser becoming an Oiler and what a possible Bouchard extension could look like.   The boys finished off the show with The Wrap from William Huff!

We are back with the final Nielson Show of the week. To start off today's show, we dove right into last night's game between the Elks and Blue Bombers.   The rumour mill is continuing to spin in the Oilersverse. Is Darnell Nurse being traded?!?! Chris Johnston was the first guest on today's show. Lots of rumblings around the NHL right now, it was good to hear get some clarity from CJ regarding all the speculation in Edmonton. He gave his thoughts on the future of Buffalo and also touched on the JJ Peterka trade. The NHL is doing things a little differently this year with the decentralized draft which CJ had some thoughts on.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   In the middle of the hour, our summer guest Marshall Ferguson joined the show. He informed us what he was riding today, which led to a good racing story. On the topic of racing, he shared his thoughts on what to expect from this week's Austrian Grand Prix. Luke Gazdic joined us at the top of the second hour. He gave his initial thoughts on the Evander Kane trade. What does Gaz think the Oilers will do next? How will the Oilers address the goaltending? Should the Oilers resign Connor Brown and will the Oilers be able to afford Evan Bouchard?
