Tuesday afternoon means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio has been recorded and edited, and is set to massage your earholes. On today's podcast, the guys previewed Game 3 between the Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars, Connor Brown's injury, Viktor Arvidsson, and more. The guys kicked off the Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio with a delicious debate about our favourite memories from the current playoff run. From the way the Oilers bounced back after two early losses against Los Angeles to dusting off the Vegas Golden Knights to Stuart Skinner looking better than anyone expected, there are plenty of fantastic storylines from the first 14 games. As you'll hear, everyone had different memories to share, and it was fun to re-live some of those memories. Looking ahead to Game 4, the boys began the preview by examining what Viktor Arvidsson brings to the table as a replacement for the injured Connor Brown. Coles Notes: We need him to play like the Viktor Arvidsson who annoyed the Oilers for years as a King. We also walked through the new line combinations and discussed whether it makes sense to have McDavid and Draisaitl starting on the same line. Finally, the fellas wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with a run of betting talk for our friends at bet365, keys to victory vs. the Stars in Game 4, and offered a few reasons why everyone should believe the Oilers can get the job done for a second straight night on home ice. As you'll hear, the boys feel bullish about the Oilers' chances of getting the job done, but that'll only happen if they can bring the same effort that we saw earlier in the series, even with the win on Sunday afternoon. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
ESPN Hockey Analyst on the greatness of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, what makes Evan Bouchard so special, what a Stanley Cup would do for McDavid's legacy, if the Panthers destroying Carolina makes the Leafs look better, and how Mitch Marner leaving could impact Auston Matthews.
I talk about an incedible survival story, my bold new strategy for containing McDavid, and a game 3 overview. Cheers!
Noah and Dan return to talk the Tocchet hire, Marner and McDavid rumors and debate, who do they draft at 6, Lappy leaving the Phantoms, Shaw to NJ, more!
The Detroit Red Wings need help scoring, but we all know that Moritz Seider, Simon Edvinsson, and the Red Wings blue line desperately needs help defending as well. Tune in as we discuss some key candidates for Steve Yzerman to target in free agency or trade to help Detroit's defense alongside Seider, Edvinsson, Johansson, Chiarot & Co., including the Los Angeles Kings' Vladislav Gavrikov and the Buffalo Sabres' Bowen Byram - are they worth targeting over a Mitch Marner, Sam Bennett, or other forwards to help Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Alex DeBrincat, & the rest of Hockeytown's offense? What would they cost and how does the rising salary cap benefit Steve Yzerman and the Red Wings? (5:05) After that, an update on Marco Kasper, Lucas Raymond, Michael Brandsegg-Nygard, and the rest of the Detroit Red Wings at the IIHF World Championships (36:05) before jumping into NHL news, including a breakdown of the Leafs imploding as usual against Brad Marchand and the Panthers, thoughts on Matthews, Marner, Knies, and Tavares, as well as Stanley Cup Playoffs Conference Finals predictions as McDavid and the Oilers take on Rantanen and the Stars in the West, and Bobrovsky and the Panthers take on Svechnikov and the Hurricanes in the East (40:15). Finally, our 2025 NHL Draft Prospect Profile on Lynden Lakovic and whether he reminds Red Wings fans of Michael Rasmussen or Anthony Mantha (1:02:45). Bývalý slovenský hokejový reprezentant Andrej Sekera prijal pozvanie do podcastu Góly z bufetu, kde bilancoval svoju bohatú kariéru. Vidíte 18-ročného chalana, vy tam šliapete, zuby zaťaté, a on okolo vás preletí s úsmevom na tvári, úplne s ľahkosťou.

It's a Wednesday installment of The EST Hangout! Presented by Sentinel Storage! Matthew Iwanyk and Tom Gazzola are joined by Shawn Belle of Hello Hockey!
Dallas takes a 2-1 series lead over Winnipeg after a controversial and confounding winning goal that has the Jets fuming. Mason Marchment’s tap of an official sparks debate over discipline standards, while Mikko Rantanen continues his playoff dominance. The Leafs and Panthers got nasty in Game 3, with questions swirling around OEL’s hit, Domi’s late-game penalty, and whether Matthews is in his own head. Sergei Bobrovsky has locked in after a rough start, and Berube may consider shuffling Toronto’s lines. Stu Skinner gets the start again for the Oilers, who coughed up Game 3 with defensive misplays, while Vegas looks to seize momentum, possibly without Mark Stone. Plus, Game 4 between the Canes and Caps feels like a must-win for Washington, who must solve Carolina’s tight defensive structure and home-ice dominance in order to keep the series alive. Plus, in Ask Ray and Dregs Anything... McDavid and Draisaitl - together or apart? The Berube effect on the Leafs and is one series simply lacking excitement?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Dylan has a beef with a local flower shop who tried to take advantage of him for Mother's Day. Pepper tries to make a top 5 list of the best leafy greens. We find out exactly how big Dylan's tab was while he was living at the Devon A&W. There's a fake Connor McDavid interview making the rounds that makes him look VERY mean. Pepper's mom saw this and thought it was real so we issue another waring about artificial intelligence.
The Oilers earned a 2-0 series lead after winning a wild Game 2 OT thriller over Vegas, with McDavid and Draisaitl quiet until the game-winner, while depth continues to carry Edmonton. In Washington, Logan Thompson shut the door in the third to even the series with Carolina, who now head home to a rink where they’ve dominated all year. Toronto looks to take control of their series in Game 3 vs. Florida, with Nylander continuing his stellar play. Winnipeg hopes for a bounce-back in Game 2 against Dallas after a flat opener, while Mikko Rantanen stays red-hot for the Stars. Elsewhere, Joel Quenneville takes over as head coach in Anaheim, publicly owning his past failures in the 2010 Blackhawks scandal, and in New Jersey, Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald made it clear major roster changes are coming after a disappointing season.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

With the Detroit Red Wings season post-mortem well-documented, we take a look at what Steve Yzerman's top priority should be for Hockeytown this offseason: getting scoring help for Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Alex DeBrincat, Patrick Kane, and Marco Kasper in the form of Marner, Ehlers, Bennett, or Marchand? Defensive support for Mortiz Seider, Simon Edvinsson, and Albert Johansson by way of Gavrikov? Goaltending solution other than Talbot or Mrazek? (4:30) We also take a look at Isaac Howard of the Tampa Bay Lightning and whether he would be worth trading for, or if Danielson, Brandsegg-Nygard, Mazur or others are the solution for the Detroit Red Wings (16:15). Next, a Stanley Cup Playoffs update, including Mikko Rantanen's incredible Game 7 revenge performance, Hellebuyck and the Jets' unexpected goalie issue, Marner and the Leafs beating Tkachuk and the Senators, McDavid, Draisaitl and the Oilers beating the Kings again, the Capitals dispatching Lane Hutson's Canadiens, and Tkachuk and the Panthers making easy work of Vasilevskiy and the Lightning (29:45). After that, a U18 IIFH tournament recap and preview of the NHL Draft Lottery (46:55) before our 2025 NHL Draft Prospect Profile on Brady Martin: is he a Marco Kasper clone and "Yzerman's type"? We'll go through all the key moments in our scoring summary and discuss what we learned from Game 82 as the Oilers head into the playoffs riding some positive momentum. We'll also look back on the regular season as a whole, deliver our final One Big Take of the regular season, ask our Sherwood Ford Giant Question, and officially crown a winner in the Game Day Bet365 Betting Challenge. Who came out on top after 82 games of predictions and wagers? And to cap off the show, we're honoured to be joined by Oilers legend and Hall of Fame goaltender Grant Fuhr. He'll share stories from his playoff runs in Edmonton, reflect on what it means to play for this city in the postseason, and give his thoughts on the Oilers' current squad heading into Round 1 against the LA Kings. You don't want to miss this one—it's the final regular season show before the real fun begin!Website: https://oilersnation.com/ https://twitter.com/OilersNation/ https://www.youtube.com/@Oilersnationdotcom/ https://www.facebook.com/OilersNation/https://www.instagram.com/oilersnationdotcomhttps://www.tiktok.com/@oilersnation SHOUTOUT TO OUR SPONSORS!!
Tuesday afternoon means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio has been recorded, edited, and is set to massage your ear feelings. On this week's podcast, the guys discussed a potential Darnell Nurse suspension, Monday's loss to the L.A. Kings, and much more. The boys started the Tuesday podcast with a delicious debate about whether Darnell Nurse should and will be suspended after the incident with Quinton Byfield, which resulted in a crosscheck to the head. Depending on how you look at the situation, the NHL has different routes to discipline Darnell Nurse, and the debate revolved around whether or not he will be suspended. As you'll hear, everyone's opinion on the matter was all over the map.Changing gears, we looked back on Monday's loss to the Kings and how Philip Danault felt the Oilers were icing their B-squad and trying to hurt the opposing players. As much as Danault's comments weren't necessarily wrong, it was pretty funny that he didn't acknowledge the very real string of injuries Edmonton is working through. Even with McDavid saying the team isn't the 'walking wounded' this morning after practice, the reality is that the Oilers had nine regulars out of the lineup for Monday's game.Sticking with the game against Los Angeles, we also discussed Quinn Hutson's NHL debut and how it was a cool moment for a young man who signed an ELC only days before suiting up for the Oilers. Despite playing just over 14 minutes in his debut, the guys discussed Hutson's ceiling and whether or not this is a prospect worth following. We also wondered how Hutson ranks among the other prospects the Oilers have signed in the last few weeks, and if these scratch tickets can do enough to bolster the Oilers' thin depth chart. Finally, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with some predictions about where Evander Kane might play when he returns and playoff betting talk before winding down with some game expectations for Wednesday's season finale against the San Jose Sharks. As always, the first episode of Oilersnation Radio of the week is always a fun one to record, and it was exciting to finally be talking about the playoffs after what has been a slog of a regular season. To close the hour ‘MMM That's Good!' presented by the Italian Centre led to more of Rory's historic Sunday.
There's nothing quite like a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio to wrap up your Friday, get you prepped for tonight's game, and keep you updated on all things Edmonton Oilers. This week, the fellas covered the Oilers' injury situation, Connor McDavid's return to the lineup, and much more. The boys started the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about the Oilers' injury situation, specifically which player's injury we're most concerned about heading into the playoffs. Whether it's Mattias Ekholm not playing much over the last month, Stuart Skinner only getting two more starts before the playoffs, or Evander Kane's return after missing the whole season, Tyler wanted to know which player being healthy is the most concerning.Looking back at the week, we started with Connor McDavid's return to the lineup on Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues and how the captain looked incredible after being on the shelf for eight games. With three points and more than a handful of flashes of brilliance, McDavid looked back to being himself, and it couldn't have come at a better time. We also spoke about Mattias Ekholm's return to the lineup, and we offered our take on what would be a good night for the Oilers' defender after so much time out with injury. Finally, the guys wrapped up the Friday episode of the podcast with another round of betting talk and Hot and Cold Performers to recap the last week of our lives. Whether it was talking about Connor McDavid's return, having players heat up at the right time, or the opportunity to keep winning games despite losing the team's two best players, there was plenty to discuss on the Friday episode of ONR.SHOUTOUT TO OUR SPONSORS!!
Injuries, rest and returns are a league-wide overarching theme as the regular season winds down. Connor McDavid made a surprise return in the Oilers' win over St. Louis, notching three assists including a key play on the game-winner. Edmonton isn’t the same without McDavid and Draisaitl, and getting healthy ahead of the playoffs is crucial. The Leafs dropped a rough one to the Panthers Tuesday, then bounced back against Tampa Bay behind a Matthew Knies hat trick on Wednesday, leading to much discussion about which Florida team the Leafs matchup better against. In Minnesota, a wild 8–7 OT win over the Sharks featured big returns from Kaprizov and Eriksson Ek, and what was probably Marc-Andre Fleury’s final home start. Vegas is also eyeing full health with Pietrangelo and Hague recovering, but Hertl and Eichel’s absences are causing concern up front. Jason Strudwick joins to talk about getting up to game speed for players like Evander Kane and Gabe Landeskog, his concerns about the Oilers' goaltending and how Quinton Byfield could be a difference-maker in this year's playoffs.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Thursday afternoon means a fresh episode of Real Life was recorded, edited, and ready to help you through the rest of your work week. On today's podcast, the guys discussed Oodle Noodle's origin story, Connor McDavid's return to the lineup, meme coins, and much more. The guys started the Thursday show with a history of Oodle Noodle as the Jay and Wanye-led restaurant chain turned 20 years old on Thursday. From how they formed a relationship with the founder, Sonny, to travelling to Vietnam to formalize the relationship, hearing the Oodle Noodle origin story was a wonderful trip down memory lane.Changing gears, the guys discussed Connor McDavid's return to the lineup on Wednesday night against the St. Louis Blues and how his surprising return was not only welcomed but also incredibly productive. Not only was it incredible to see McDavid back on the ice with his teammates, but to have him go supernova in his first time out was an incredible display of dominance in a game Edmonton needed to win.Unable to stick to one topic for more than a few seconds, the conversation shifted to Wanye's Tyler Yaremchuk A.I. doll, which prompted Yaremchuk to confess that he is Oilersnation. If you've seen the photo, A.I. did a fantastic job creating a Tyler doll, but Yaremchuk worries that people will think he's making these images of himself. Could this be a long con to get Tyler even more hate than he already does online? Stay tuned. Finally, the guys wrapped up the podcast with a collection of random topics that ranged from the Masters tournament, NBA shenanigans, and some betting talk about all things sports. As always, the Thursday episode of Real Life was as random as it was enjoyable.
A lot to discuss today on 2 Guys & A Goalie! The fellas will recap last night's game between the Oilers and Blues. All that and wherever else the conversation takes them! 2 Guys & a Goalie is presented by GS Construction and brought to you in part by Coolbet Canada!
There's nothing quite like a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio to wrap up your Tuesday and keep you up to date on all things Edmonton Oilers. We kicked off the Tuesday episode of the podcast with a delicious debate about the team's lack of response to Radko Gudas' dirty headshot on Corey Perry. Given that the team responded relatively lightly to doing nothing after the play, the guys wondered whether or not more should have been done in the moment or afterward. Another angle on the story is how the refs completely lost the plot in Monday's game, and their performance so poorly only contributed to the chaos on the ice. Changing gears, we looked at the last two games the Oilers lost and tried to figure out what went wrong at the end of the road trip. Yes, it's a massive problem that McDavid and Draisaitl are not in the lineup, but the struggle to get goals in the net is a problem the team can't seem to solve. We also touched on Olivier Rodrigue's first NHL start and how it was a big moment for the second-round pick from 2018, even though he didn't get the desired result. The guys also reviewed the latest injury updates for the roster and discussed how it's more important for the team to get healthy than to rush people back. According to Jason Gregor, Stuart Skinner may be the first man back after he started practicing with the team and is targeting coming back this week. Without the team practicing on Tuesday, we don't know the status of the other injured players, so the boys took their best guesses for who would come back first. Finally, the boys wrapped up the podcast with a discussion about Alex Ovechkin breaking Wayne Gretzky's goal record, and how it was pretty fun to see one of the most untouchable records get broken. We also ran through some betting talk for our friends at bet365 that looked at the Oilers' Cup futures as well as Leon Draisaitl's chances to win the Hart Trophy before wrapping up the pod with keys to victory and a score prediction against the Blues.
