Chris Johnston was the first guest on today's show. Lots of rumblings around the NHL right now, it was good to hear get some clarity from CJ regarding all the speculation in Edmonton. He gave his thoughts on the future of Buffalo and also touched on the JJ Peterka trade. In a crucial Game 5 the Edmonton Oilers layed an egg on Saturday night losing 5-2 to the Florida Panthers. It was a complete no show for the Oilers right off the hop as the Panthers jumped out to 2-0 in the first period and never looked back. WHAT A ROLLERCOASTER OF A GAME!!! The Edmonton Oilers were down 3-0 after 20 minutes, tied the game up with three goals in the second, Walman would give the Oil the lead with six minutes left in the third but the Florida Panthers would tie it with 19 seconds left off a Sam Reinhart goal. In OT both teams had great chances but in the end the great Leon Draisaitl would find the winner to even up the series at 2 and now head back to Edmonton for Game 5. Jamie McLennan was the first guest on today's show. He gave his thoughts on game three, touched on what the Oilers need to do differently in game four. We then switched gears to the goaltending in which Jamie had a few things to say. The Edmonton Oilers fell hard in game 3, losing 6-1 to the Florida Panthers. The Panthers now lead the series 2-1 with game 4 set for Thursday! In a penalty filled game, the Oilers were never in it as they fell 2-0 in the first period, with Florida never looking back and adding four more goals in the final 40 minutes. Stuart Skinner was pulled late in the game, John Klingberg finished at a minus 3 and Leon Draisaitl did not get a shot on net. Hear postgame comments from Stuart Skinner and Evander Kane.
