We got the third hour started with Mr Mikes Kind of Easy Trivia.    It was then time for Three Questions Too Many presented by Park Mazda.   Former Oilers netminder Joaquin Gage closed out today's show in classic Gager fashion! Before hitting the ice with his hockey takes, he gave the boys an unexpected, highly educational breakdown on the inner workings of household sump pumps. Once the basement was dry, we dove straight into the Oilers' weekend headlines. Gager shared his raw analysis on the Jason Dickinson extension and officially slapped a letter grade on the five-year deal. From there, he gave his unfiltered thoughts on the looming arrival of Mike Babcock behind the Edmonton bench. Finally, the former goalie reacted to the earth-shattering blockbuster out East, analyzing how the Florida Panthers landed Brady Tkachuk and trying to figure out where the Ottawa Senators possibly go from here.   We finished the show like we always do with The Wrap from William Huff.

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger dropped by to kick off the show and immediately took the temperature of Oil Country. Dregs breaks down the inner workings of Jason Dickinson's fresh five-year contract extension, unpacking the $4 million AAV, the risk of the term, and what it means for Edmonton's bottom six. From there, we covered all angles of the looming Mike Babcock situation—including an insider's timeline on when an official hiring announcement could drop. Plus, with the Oilers facing a massive salary cap crunch, Dregs gives us the latest on the Darnell Nurse trade rumors and management's blueprint going forward. Finally, we switched gears to react to the absolute blockbuster trade that shook the hockey world yesterday, as Brady Tkachuk heads to South Florida to reunite with his brother, leaving the Ottawa Senators searching for a brand new identity.   It was then time for the Play Alberta Early Bird Bet of the day.   After the break, we got into MMMMMM That's Good presented by The Italian Centre Shop! What's good today is how unreal Justin Rankin's season has been thus far.   We finished hour two with Offseason, What Offseason presented by GCL Diesel.
