Das DJ Duo Gestört aber Geil ist momentan sehr erfolgreich mit der Single “Thank You”, die man gemeinsam mit der Sängerin Anna Grey aufgenommen hat. “Thank You” klang ursprünglich ganz anders. Die DJs haben sich den Song von Anna fix gemixt, um ihren Fans am Anfang der Show Danke für ihre Treue zu sagen, verrät Nico: “Wir sind da durch Zufall per Youtube übers Original gestolpert. Da kam der Gedanke auf, lass uns doch einfach ein Intro machen, indem wir einfach Danke - Thank You sagen, dass die Leute so mitmachen. Und dann kam ein Kontakt zu Anna und da stand eigentlich gleich die Idee im Raum, lass doch einfach mal Thank You noch einmal komplett neu machen.” In Sachsen haben Gestört aber Geil noch 2 Termine auf ihrer mehrfach verschoben Jubiläumstour, am Vorabend vom 31. Oktober in Leipzig im Haus Auensee und am Vorabend des Buss und Bettages in Dresden im Alten Schlachthof. Clever Tourplanung? “Das hat sich tatsächlich super ergeben. In leipzig und Dresden wars natürlich ein glücklicher Zufall, also eine glückliche Fügung, dass am nächsten Tag Feiertag ist.” Gestört aber Geil sind auch so gut wie fertig mit ihrem nächsten Album, auch dazu verrät Nico von Gestört aber Geil mehr im aktuellen Podcast “Axel trifft”.
