Born from a deep-seated love for exceptional beer and the sheer joy of savoring it, Against the Grain came to life in 2011, ignited by Sam Cruz, Jerry Gnagy, Andrew Ott, and Adam Watson. Their vision? To introduce Louisville to an exhilarating array of beer styles that not only tantalized the taste buds but also fostered a tight-knit community of beer aficionados, all united in the pursuit of good times.Sam and Jerry join Derrick and Jonathan on this episode of Pour Another Round to chat about their eclectic range of brews, spanning six main styles: Session, Hop, Whim, Malt, Dark, and Smoke. If their tasty beer isn't enough, you're sure to be amused by the beer names like their flagship Double IPA, Citra Ass Down, or the acclaimed super American premium Lager, A Beer, and the can art that goes along with their beers! Episode 222 - Undercarriage Carnage Do you guys remember having the talk with your parents? The really awkward one about how, “you're getting older now, and you're going to start seeing some changes in your body”. You know, THAT talk. It's great that they tried to prepare us and all, but there were some pretty glaring omissions from the information they gave us. They told us about the growing pains, body hair, and B.O. However, they failed to mention that our negative postpubescent feelings would actually manifest themselves as stress demons that could exit and enter our a** at will, to exact revenge on the people who have wronged us. And that thing about the teeth inside of girls hoo-hahs? We think we would remember the mentioning something like that. Lucky for us, and our kids, we found two movies that will someday help us explain these changes in a healthy and informative way. So grab some of The Brown Note American Brown Ale from Against The Grain Brewery and join us for a lesson in gross anatomy. Cheers!!! Follow us!
