A podcast by beer lovers, for beer lovers, with beer creators. Beer has long been the cause of a good story, a laughable faux pas, liquid encouragement, humorous memories, forgotten nights, and the centerpiece of camaraderie. Often overlooked is the story of the beer itself. Each hoppy pour has been on a long journey to become the brews you love. There’s been people and places, whos, whats, whys, and hows. We usually tell stories over a proverbial pint, but pour another round with hosts Jonathan and Cameron as they dive into the suds and take a look at the stories literally inside the pint.
Cameron Teske, Jonathan Eckelberg
The Pour Another Round podcast is a refreshing take on the world of beer podcasts. Unlike others in its genre, this podcast goes beyond just the hosts drinking beer and giving their opinions. Instead, they delve into the stories behind the beers and breweries they feature, providing listeners with in-depth interviews that offer a unique perspective. As someone who works at Pigeon River Brewing Co., I have found it fascinating to hear the insider stories and experiences shared by these breweries.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the level of depth and detail that goes into each episode. The hosts take their time to research and prepare for their interviews, resulting in interviews that are informative and engaging. They ask thoughtful questions that allow guests to share their journey in starting a brewery, from humble beginnings to notable successes and even challenging setbacks. It is clear that the hosts have a genuine passion for craft beer and a deep respect for those who make it.
Additionally, the chemistry between the hosts is exceptional, enhancing each episode even further. Their viewpoints on various topics related to beer are diverse, which adds depth to the discussions. Whether they are discussing different brewing techniques or sharing personal anecdotes about their own experiences with craft beer, their rapport keeps listeners engaged throughout.
While there aren't many negative aspects to mention about this podcast, one potential drawback is that it may not appeal to those who are not already interested in craft beer or breweries. The topics covered are very specific and may not resonate with a wider audience. However, for those who have an interest in beer culture or want to learn more about how breweries operate, this podcast is a fantastic resource.
In conclusion, The Pour Another Round podcast stands out among other beer podcasts for its commitment to providing listeners with insightful interviews and stories from breweries around the country. The dedication of the hosts shines through in every episode as they bring enthusiasm and knowledge to each conversation. If you love beer or simply appreciate hearing about passionate individuals who have turned their love of brewing into successful businesses, this podcast is a must-listen.

Pour Another Round is back in Brussels, Belgium, visiting with Julien at WOLF Sharing Food Market and the microbrewery that exists there. Surrounded by a more upscale food court of sorts, the beer is brewed on-site, only 31 meters - about 101 feet for us American folk - from the bar where it's being poured. While our tastebuds were drooling over the 17 different restaurant options, our conversation is still all about the beer that Julien is brewing at WOLF!With WOLF's micro setup, they bring you the benefits of high-quality craft beers available only at WOLF, more environmentally friendly consumption, more sharing with customers and better control over purchases and products.WOLF has a partnership with Belgoo Brewery, a craft brewery specialising in high fermentation and organic beers, and a handful of their beers are also available at WOLF.Santé. Pour Another Round heads across the pond and visits with Yvan from Brasserie de la Senne in Brussels, Belgium. Yvan is a passionate brewer and brewery owner and brings you the Brussels People's Beer! In our very first episode from Belgium, Yvan talks with us about quality and the desire to always do better. From the beginning, Brasserie de la Senne has brewed bitter beers - bitterness is the key characteristic of their beers. Why? They wanted to brew beers to their liking that could no longer be found on the market. You'll also find really solid low alcohol beers at Brasserie de la Senne (no N/As though!). The Taras Boulba (4.5%) is “the” beer for quenching your thirst and you still get amazing flavor!Brasserie de la Senne takes great pride in being a local brewery and focused on the Brussels region through and through. Exports are limited, however, their beers are available in a dozen countries, with a leading presence in the United States, Italy and Japan.
