Before Vangelis was known the world over for his scores to films like Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire, he was a member of Aphrodite's Child. The group started out as a rather by-the-numbers psychedelic rock act, but the band went full prog for their final record, a sprawling concept album about the literal end of the world called 666. Elliot and James are joined once more by Dr. Sparkle of Chrontendo to talk about this incredibly strange record.

Special guest Dr. Sparkle of Chrontendo fame joins us today to discuss artists who either only released one album, or only one album of any regard. While the past few episodes have featured albums that maybe not all of us were keen on, this episode features three stone-cold prog classics: Affinity's self-titled record, First Base by Babe Ruth, and England's Garden Shed. Enjoy!

Dr. Sparkle, the creator of Chrontendo, takes us through his more than decade long project to analyze every commercially released game for the NES and Famicom in chronological order while simultaneously spinning off this already massive show into two more: Chronsega and Chronturbo. If you're ever looking for something to do with your free time, this guy might have some ideas for you. But, you may just be committing years and years of your life to a ‘bad' (read: admirable) idea. Post apocalyptic mayhem. New societies and population groups popping up and insisting that they are living the right way. The power struggle between might and right. Giant weaponized vehicles storming across the desert sands. OK, maybe not that last one, but what do I know? Good thing I have Jordan Forbes from Shonen Flop to help me out with a look at Fist of the North Star on NES. Listen in as we look at yet another game that should have been featured earlier in the run of the show but I just didn't know it was based on a comic so we're making up for it now. Learn such things as: Why did Nintendo of America even bring this game over here? Where can I learn how to poke people to death? Is this the first time I've found an excuse to mention Chrontendo on the show? And so much more! You can find Jordan on Twitter under the account for his podcast @ShonenFlopCast or on the Shonen Flop website. It's the return of the traditional Games, Dammit! crew! Since Frank Cifaldi rejoins Scooter, Matt, and Jeremy in the studio and we all talk about Fallout: New Vegas' Dead Money DLC, Swarm, our musings about CES and Nintendo World, and the PSP2 (along with its "feel-y nipples"). Questions-wise, we tackle topics such as handholding in games, horseriding in Red Dead Redemption versus sailing in Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, a special boardgame from Brenda Braithwaite, M-rated sports games, and way too many voicemails about Elevator Action. Frank gives a special shoutout to the excellent video series Chrontendo, and we even conduct a live conversation with special guest/Oddcast contributor BallsRog. Enjoy!
