Comentario: El «gran señor de Cataluña», en palabras de Dexter Gordon, toca aquí el quizás sea su mejor disco y su obra maestra. Acompañados por dos magnificos músicos en la ritmica, Albert Heath a la bateria y Orsted Pedersen al contrabajo, Tete Montoliu hace de la música de Coltrane un swing permanente y en este disco se hace merecedor sin duda a las palabras pronunciadas por el tambien maestro del saxo, Ben Webster: «Este español tiene un swing como ningun otro pianista de Europa». La reedicion es española de 1980. Imprescindible en la discografia de Tete y referencia absoluta dentro del jazz en España. Múltiple es el nuevo trabajo de Marta Pareja Buenaventura, es un álbum de once temas íntimos que nacen de un largo proceso de más de nueve años de revisión interna, tras vivencias intensas y complejas de la cantautora. De este camino interior surge la necesidad de reencontrar la propia identidad, de responder preguntas esenciales como “¿Quién soy?” o “¿Cómo es posible que esto me haya pasado a mí?”. De ese momento vital nace la escritura en forma de versos, tejiendo poesías que verían la luz en 2024 con la publicación de Viatge(s), un libro de autor editado por Edicions Paper d’Estrassa. Paralelamente al poemario, y después de un profundo reencuentro con su voz, la autora selecciona once de esos poemas para transformarlos en canciones, acompañada por Joan Miró Prat, productor, músico y musicoterapeuta. El disco se convierte así en la culminación de un proceso personal y artístico que mira hacia los orígenes. Es un canto a los ancestros y a la propia historia, un reconocimiento de la multiplicidad del ser y de la existencia. Representa el nacimiento de una nueva identidad o, quizá, la recuperación de la identidad esencial. Al tratarse de un viaje interior, el orden de los temas adquiere una importancia especial. El hilo conductor no es la sonoridad, sino el concepto y el mensaje de cada pieza. La primera parte del álbum aborda la dimensión transgeneracional con “Origen”, “Ancestres” y “Cant a la foguera”. A continuación, la parte central recoge la historia y la experiencia vital de la autora con “Qui soc”, “Maria”, “Filla del buit”, “Equinoccis” y “Norma”. Finalmente, los últimos temas “Fase nova”, “Múltiple” y “Agraïment” simbolizan la muerte, el renacimiento, la diversidad interior y la gratitud por el camino recorrido. Múltiple fusiona la canción de autor con la música de raíz, la étnica y la electrónica, incorporando influencias del pop, el jazz, el soul y el flamenco. El resultado es una obra orgánica y diversa, donde cada sonoridad, armonía y melodía acompaña el contenido poético y emocional de las letras, respetando siempre el concepto de origen y el proceso vital que le da sentido. Jesus now begins to speak of that day. What day is that? It is the day of the coming of the Son of Man which no one knows but God the Father.Our Lord gives us a summary of the everyday life when He comes, which will be like the days of Noah just before the flood.To their awakening awareness, seeing the flood coming, it was now too late to repent. Jesus says that is how His coming to the earth at that time will be. Some will be taken in judgment, like the those unaware, and some will be left, like Noah who was prepared safely inside the ark.Dr. Mitchell makes it evident that the church will not go thru the tribulation as some are teaching. We continue with the predictions of our Lord to His disciples.Beginning in verse 29 of Matthew 24, Jesus now speaks of the events immediately following the tribulation of those days. The coming of the Lord from heaven will be shown in a very distinct contrast with the absolute darkness on the earth at that time.The sign appearing in heaven is the Son of Man Himself whom the people of earth will see. Every eye will see Him even those of Israel with the stark realization of the truth of who Jesus is.He is the one the nation rejected but now He is the one who will reign. Dr. Mitchell speaks of the fig tree that since 1948 has begun to blossom, the nation of Israel and the generation of that time. Jesus continues instructing His disciples in verses 21-28 here in Matthew 24.Jesus begins to speak of a great tribulation such as never ever occurred in history. Such tribulation is it, that God cuts those days short for the sake of the elect.The elect that Jesus refers to is the nation of Israel, not the church. The church is not present in the tribulation. Jesus speaks of these elect again in verses 24 & 31.Dr. Mitchell shares the truth concerning those days which are called the Day of Lord. It will be a time of great distress. Dr. Mitchell brings out that the one who trust in Christ has been delivered from the wrath to come.God's righteousness has been vindicated by the shed blood of Jesus Christ for you and me.On the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast, here is Dr. Mitchell, Matthew 24:21-28.

In Matthew 24 verses 9 thru 22, Jesus continues His overview of what will be happening in the world prior to His return.Jesus speaks of the rampant lawlessness during these days of which He speaks. The Gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the nations then the end of the age comes. Dr. Mitchell carefully distinguishes between the gospel of the grace of God now during the church age, and the gospel of the Kingdom which will be proclaimed during the tribulation after the church is gone from the earth.The gospel of grace proclaims forgiveness of sins in Jesus' name and thru justification by His blood, salvation from the wrath of God. The gospel of the kingdom proclaims the coming of Jesus as King to setup His millennial kingdom. In Matthew 24 verses 4-8 Jesus is talking to His disciples. They wanted to know when the end of the age would come.Jesus then begins to tell them of what to beware of - false christs and possible wars between nations and kingdoms. But He hastens to add that these things were not the end but merely the beginning -- the beginning of birth pangs.Dr. Mitchell reviews the context of Jesus' explanation to His disciples.He ties these verses in Matthew together with verses found in the book of Daniel. In Daniel God reveals His purposes for the nation of Israel.On the timeline of history, Israel comes first. Jesus speaks of the nation of Israel. God's truth is always relevant and current.We are in Matthew 24 verses 1-6. The disciples had 3 questions for Jesus. Jesus takes up the 3rd question first and answers it. What will be the sign of the end of the age?The disciples wanted to know when the present age would end.The Jews only knew of two ages. There is the present age and then the age to come. The age to come would be when the Messiah would return to reign on His throne in Jerusalem. As we continue in Matthew 23 this lesson begins with verse 29. Here Dr. Mitchell will finish out the last of 8 indictments of the Lord Jesus against the religious rulers of Israel. Dr. Mitchell reminds us that Jesus knew the motives of these leaders which is why He could bring just rebukes and indictments against these rulers. At the end of His speaking, we still see Jesus' willing heart of compassion for His Jerusalem, to gather them together to Himself, but they would not.Dr. Mitchell admonishes the believer not to be the judge of another person's motives.Only Jesus has omniscience to know all things inwardly and outwardly, past, present and future. Our study continues in Matthew 23 vs. 16. where Dr. Mitchell shares Jesus's stern rebukes and indictments on the religious leaders of Israel.Matthew records these words for us to read and hear. These consist of 8 woeful indictments. Dr. Mitchell will guide us through the first 3 of these indictments. The first concerns not entering the kingdom of God and hindering those who would. The second concerns widows houses and long prayers. The third concerns proselyting to their religion.
