Welcome to our failed attempt at nun horror! Before we get all sacrilegious, we gotta take a trip to Zimbabwe to explore an abandoned police station, where the local bobbies have been run out by... goblins? *checks notes* Yes, goblins. Okay then. Then, in Horror Business, we examine the new Count Orlok and discuss a new horror film from the maker of... wait, Full House? *checks notes* Yeah, Full House. Okay then. We also explore a new film from the makers of Turbo Kid and a couple of new small screen adaptations of Hostel and Creep. We then head to the nunnery to discuss the 1986 not-actually-a-nun-horror-but-starring-the-dreamy-Pierce-Brosnan film Nomaaaaaads. We then finally, actually discuss nun horror with the new Sydney Sweeney film Immaculate, about the literal miracle of birth. So dab some holy water on yourself, grab a glass of the blood of Christ, and brace yourself for a brand new episode of The Grave Plot Podcast!

The future is closer than you think! It is a window into an alternate past. The future is a loop? The year is 1997! The future is upon us. Times are tough, friends. Getting some water and a comic will cost you epic amounts of scavenging hours – you earn very little exp. The Kid (Munro Chambers) is just trying to get by. When he meets up with Apple (Laurence Leboeuf), his world becomes interesting and a bit dreamy. Electric-blue eyes and pink hair dreamy. Too bad Zeus (Michael Ironside) and his head henchman Skeletron (Edwin Wright) are being '97 boners about everything. Frederick (Aaron Jeffery) is effectively arm-wrestling everyone in his way, but things get complicated. Alt future/past '97 complicated! Paths cross and forces are joined. RTS get an education on robot lore and scope out nearby scrapyards. Jeremey and La-Mar deflect buzzsaw blades and question their water source. Can TK BMX his way into your heart? YES! Grab your View-Master and listen to this masterpiece soundtrack. Turbo!
Hoje falamos do retrofuturo de Turbo Kid, para capitalizar a nostalgia dos ratos de videoclube.
Dead Snow 2 is a wild ride not without it's flaws. The kills and gore rival Turbo Kid in ridiculousness and absurdity. With it's twist on the modern day vision of zombies, this is a must see film for your next drinking night with your friends. Don't listen to Charlie, this one is a whole lotta fun.
Her father Filmmaker Antonio Pantoja and his daughter talked about her first micro scifi horror film The Walk and her love for horror and Turbo Kid and her upcoming projects in horror in the works
Webster's Dictionary defines "creature" as... nah, we're not doing that. What we are doing is the first ever Week of the Creature (Feature), an Octoberama theme selected by our Patreon patrons! We picked two movies featuring some iconic creatures, namely Feast II: Sloppy Seconds, featuring a fast monster with giant sharp teeth, and the opposite of that in the 1988 remake of The Blob, about a big... blob... thing. We also examine a Real World Horror story, wherein the clowns are back. A creepy clown has been doing... something that apparently a bunch of Scottish pearl clutchers are not finding the fun in. For Horror Business, we reveal who won the television rights to the Halloween franchise and discuss what the future holds, as well as an update on Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein, a zombie comic adaptation from the makers of Turbo Kid, and a new film packed with horror icons. We then take a look at the creator of The Purge's latest film, featuring an unlikely actor. All this and more (not really more, aside from our usual brand of nonsense and off-topic diatribes) on a brand new episode of The Grave Plot Podcast!
Toddzilla checks in with a rundown of movies from our October watchlist including ALL HALLOWS EVE, LOVE AND MONSTERS, KNUCKLEBALL, LIVING WITH CHUCKY and an extensive review of NATTY KNOCKS. Plus news about John Carpenter's ANTHOLOGY II, THE LAST DRIVE-IN WITH JOE BOB BRIGGS, NECA's LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT figure, TEXAS FRIGHTMARE WEEKEND, a reminder that this October contains a FRIDAY the 13th and more! Creep it real with episode #86 of My Haunted Head - available on your favorite podcast app!
Velcome to Octoberama 2023! No, that's not a typo, it's a bad Transylvanian accent because this… is Week of the Vampire! In today's Real World Horror story, we take a look at a women stuck in a well who may not actually exist. Is it a prank? Or something more supernatural? Oooh, spooky. In Horror Business, we examine a new slasher film from the makers of Turbo Kid, some horror icons coming to Call of Duty, and the possibility of Michael Myers coming to the small screen. We also discuss a new documentary based on a Conjuring case, and a stage play based on Paranormal Activity. We then gather our stakes and garlic for two undead films! First up is the Shudder exclusive Blood Relatives, written and directed by, and starring, Noah Segan as a 115 year old Yiddish bloodsucker who finds himself in a familiar situation when he finds out he has a long lost daughter. Speaking of ancient vampires with daddy issues, we also discuss the latest Subspecies film, Bloodrise, which serves as an origin story for Radu Vladislas. So blacken out your windows and sharpen those fangs because if you don't like this episode, we got two words for ya: SUCK IT!

Happy Monday, Goons! It's our final back to school episode here on Slashers Podcast and we wanted to bring you a film that packs in all the nostalgia. While Summer of ‘84 may have been released in 2018, it legitimately feels like we've been transported back in time. Join Mikey, Ade and Lance as they walk down memory lane and dissect this gem from the same dudes who brought you Turbo Kid. The film follows a group of teens who suspect their police officer neighbor of being a serial killer. Starring Judah Lewis, Caleb Emery, Graham Verchere, and Rich Sommer, it's a fun ride in the suburbs that takes a dark and twisted turn. This one's currently streaming on Shudder, so if you haven't seen it yet, we highly recommend you watch before you listen, as there are spoilers aplenty. Today we are joined with the Switzerland's rebellious spirited directors Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein! They recently released the special edition Blu-Ray of their film Mad Heidi and it was one of the most fun we had watching a movie all year. We put this in the same category of Machete, Death Proof, Planet Terror, Hobo With A Shotgun, Turbo Kid and recommend it to anyone who loves high quality craziness. Around hearing the behind the scenes details of making the film, we also learn about the Swiss film industry and how they really had to go against the grain to make this happen, and leave us with advice for aspiring film makers who want to bring their crazy ideas to life!
Throughout cinema history films such as 2001, The Ten Commandments, Seven Samurai, King Kong, The Matrix and Jurassic Park are of such a quality that you can only feel lucky that you were alive to experience them. Is Turbo Kid such a movie? In our eyes it was.... We won't spend a lot of time singing it's praises here but instead encourage you to go watch this cinematic masterpiece (all Hail Tubi) and then tune in to listen the podcast to hear four lovable dummies gush about it. And remember...There's a Thunder in your Heart!!!!!
