We discuss John Boorman's 1974 magnum opus Zardoz, starring Sean Connery and Charlotte Rampling. It's a whirlwind of ideas and visual delights. Connery is the chosen one, a Mega-Connery in a post-apocalyptic world waiting for him to arrive and tear the place down.

Escuchar audio
This week we are now in the Waxing Cycle of the Moon. Now is all about growth, building, creating momentum, and chasing your dreams. It's the Universe giving us the go signal. Remember those intentions you set during the New Moon? The Waxing Cycle is the time to follow through and take steps in manifesting those dreams. It could be a new skill or a new exercise regimen. But before you get too excited, this week, we are also going into Mercury Retrograde! As you may know, it is the time when communication can go haywire, tech can be a bit wonky, and travel plans can go sideways. It's the Universe's way of telling us to pause to rethink and re-evaluate and reflect on things. Mercury Rx is happening in the sign of Virgo. If you want to know what that means for your sign, head onto yasminboland.comOn top of that, we have another Retrograde that is STILL happening. Venus Retrograde is still active so this week really invites us to rethink things. On a personal level, it could be re-evaluating your relationship with money, your values, and even *gulp* old flames.Access my FREE Venus RX mini course at moonmessages.com/vrWith all this stuff happening, we are also getting a Sun-Saturn clash. Saturn, the taskmaster of the zodiac, and this clash with the Sun can really highlight that planet, in this case, discipline and growth. This is a good week to get things right. Use any feedback you get this week to grow and improve. Look for the lessons hiding in confrontations this week.We also have something that many of our listeners have asked about in the past.If you're a Healer, a Spiritual Teacher, or an aspiring Moonologer, we have the amazing Tracey Rampling Brown joining us this week to talk about her journey in starting a Spiritual Business.Tracey is a graduate of my Moonology Certification and she has established and grown her practice brilliantly. Tracey's advice in starting your spiritual work:Work on your money mindset - Get over the healer's wound and insecurity about charging for your services.Set boundaries and enforce them.Just dive in and do it messy. You can fix it as you go along.Step out of your comfort zone and trust your calling and intuition. On this episode of Scran Rosalind attended an evening of whisky tasting which was hosted by the Gleneagles Townhouse whisky club 'Chasing the Dram'. The event was held to celebrate women in whisky and showcased two impressive guests Annabel Thomas founder and CEO of Nc'Nean Whisky and Laura Rampling, Master Whisky Maker of Glenrothes whisky. Rosalind got to sit down with each of them to find out more about their respective brands and roles as well as tasting and enjoying their introduction to a selection of their whiskies. Annabel talks about the creation of the brand and the importance of the sustainable ethos the company is built on. She also tells us about the huge effort that went into securing funding to build the distillery including managing to get legendary broadcaster Jeremy Paxman on board. Laura tells Rosalind about her journey into the world of whisky via wine, how Glenrothes is focussing on the premium market and what advice she has for women looking to go into the whisky industry. Writer/director Matthew Saville joins Robin Milling to talk about his directorial feature Juniper starring Charlotte Rampling. Matthew tells Robin about the trip he made to Paris from Auckland, New Zealand to "woo" Rampling into playing the role of the grandmother, based on his own father's mother. There was no plan 'B' as she was the "perfect person" for the gin-drinking feisty alcoholic. Saville talks about the wonderful chemistry with newcomer George Ferrier as the rebellious teenaged grandson who must look after her as punishment for his school suspension. Matthew cherishes the experience he had making the film and shares behind-the-scenes moments with Rampling and the ensemble cast and their mutual admiration.

https://geminimoonpress.com For a long time it wasn't safe for women, healers, and lightworkers to be seen or heard, and while we often immediately think of the Burning Times, the truth is that our silence has continued to be kept and encouraged through the evolution of modern society. So much of the innate wisdom that was passed down through the ages has been lost and continues to be lost through suppression and disconnection from our inner knowing and awareness of the intertwining of the natural rhythms throughout our bodies and into the world around us. Gemini Moon Press seeks to provide a safe platform for women to speak their truth and share their stories—but even more than that, heal the sisterwounds that have kept us separate and hoarding our wisdom as secret for fear of betrayal, criticism, and judgement. Our collaborative book projects are carefully curated to ensure that all contributors are energetically aligned to inspire, empower and lift each other.

If you have listened to the podcast for a while, you will worked out that there is a lot of good people in media. I am not sure that we have even had a difficult interview across our time but this one with our executive producer across radio and television was particularly good. We certainly like characters at The Experts Podcast and he is no exception to the rule. Ryan Rampling or ‘Rhino' to some has had a very influential career in media behind the scenes as a radio producer, Television Chief of Staff and now Executive Producer on a local television program on Channel 7 Flashpoint. Nic's last question of the podcast on “why always at the back and never at the front?” really sums up this thinking media professional. It's in his nature, in his blood to ask questions and be inquisitive. This is what makes the job most enjoyable for him and in fact makes it more than a job. It is his life. The very thing you notice early with Ryan is that he likes to talk, he is very comfortable communicating, and it is this skill while very much in the arsenal of other producers he will go the extra yard to make sure that he has reached that talent, expert or prospective interview know what he is trying to do. He genuinely cares on getting the very best on air and the very best from his talent. There is a lot of good advice for all prospective experts in this podcast to work with not to mention the guidance budding producers and journalists can get from this young media veteran. There is a lot of good stories still to come out of Ryan in future years and not just the ones we mentioned. The media might be changing but good old-fashioned media and communication skills will never go out of style. If you are short on these skills reach out to Ryan as he has bucket loads of it. Welcome to the Kayleigh O'Keefe Show! Have you ever wondered about the differences between goal setting and manifesting? Certified Moonologer and Moon Manifestation Coach Tracey Rampling Brown explains that goal setting often involves a purely masculine-focused energy and completely ignores the more feminine aspects of alignment, intuition and willingness to change. While manifestation certainly incorporates some of the same aspirational aspects of goal setting, it first and foremost requires the belief that we can achieve and are deserving of the goals we set for ourselves. Tune into this week's episode of The Kayleigh O'Keefe Show to learn more about: • What moonology is and who can most benefit from it • Forgiveness and gratitude, the pillars of manifestation • The difference between a spiritual awakening and spiritual bypassing • The transformational power of shadow work • And why manifestation will help you magnetize your soul tribe! Quotes • “Moonology is really the study of the moon cycles and how we can manifest and harness our own energetics by using the energies of the moon cycle to uplevel our manifestation.” (3:36-3:53) • “Let's face it – many of us when we start our personal development journeys, we are bootstrapping it until we suddenly realize that we can get help for that. There are people that can make our journey easier because they've already done the things that we're doing.” (20:30-20:46) • “The thing that is really missing from [goal setting] is that the traditional paradigm of goal setting is very masculine energy focused….And that doesn't really allow for the feminine energies of alignment and intuition and evolution and shifting and changing to come in.” (22:20-23:15) • “You can set as many goals as you want, but if you don't believe that you can have them, you will not manifest those things or what will happen is you put out those conflicting messages to the universe.” (23:23-23:38) • “When you're really sitting in those feelings of lack and scarcity and nothing good ever happens to me...you're actually closing yourself off to seeing the good things around you. So when you start really letting that gratitude in and raising your frequency, you are expanding, you're becoming expansive, and so many things then start to click into place.” (29:48-30:32) • “When we are 100% fully and authentically in alignment with exactly who we are, the unique people that we attract to us are our soul tribe because we are resonating on the same frequency as them, and we're attracting them because they accept us fully as we are, and we accept them fully as they are, and there is no expectation of being different than how we turn up.” (56:01-56:28) Links Website: www.vibrantcoach.com Facebook: www.facebook.com/vibrantcoach Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/groups/empoweredwomenrisetogether Instagram: www.instagram.com/vibrantcoach Linkedin: www.linkedin.com/in/tracey-rampling-brown Book a moon reading and use the code KAYLEIGH for a 10% discount: https://www.vibrantcoach.com/moonology/ Get published with Soul Excellence Publishing: https://soulexcellencepublishing.com/ Visit Kayleigh's website: https://kayleighokeefe.com/ Schedule an Author Discovery Call: https://calendly.com/kayleigh-okeefe/solo-book-writing-publishing Podcast production and show notes provided by FIRESIDE Marketing
Conversations With The Divine Feminine - podcast by Diana Adamko
My guest was the lovely Tracey Rampling and we explored the journey of shifting away from the masculine business paradigms and create feminine & masculine balance. She is a merging her moon wisdom with astrology in her coaching as well as in her own life. It is a journey that when we reflect on it, we may realise it started in our lives so much longer than we have become aware of it. As we explored these journeys, we also talked about moon cycles and how Tracey uses Moonology to support women creating a balance between the feminine and masculine.Tracey works with overwhelmed multi-passionate entrepreneurs who want to break free of the masculine business paradigms, and flourish as they succeed in life and business on their own terms. By reconnecting with their intuition, harnessing the energetics of the moon cycles and balancing their divine masculine and feminine energies Tracey's clients become perfectly aligned to manifest the crap out of their dreams and live vibrant, balanced, joy-filled lives they LOVE! As a self-proclaimed "spiritual science nerd" Tracey loves a good blend of woo and the science that backs it up! Her signature style combines elements of Positive Intelligence, Positive Psychology, Appreciative Inquiry, and traditional coaching methodologies with Moonology, astrology, the Law of Attraction, Reiki, and divination. A four-hundred-year history of the development of alchemy in England that brings to light the evolution of the practice. Tracing the development of alchemy in England from the beginning of the fourteenth century to the end of the seventeenth, Jennifer M. Rampling illuminates the role of alchemical reading and experimental practice in the broader context of national and scientific history. Using new manuscript sources, she shows how practitioners like George Ripley, John Dee, and Edward Kelley, as well as many previously unknown alchemists, devised new practical approaches to alchemy while seeking the support of English monarchs. By reconstructing their alchemical ideas, practices, and disputes, Rampling reveals how English alchemy was continually reinvented over the space of four centuries, resulting in changes to the science itself. In so doing, The Experimental Fire The Experimental Fire: Inventing English Alchemy, 1300-1700 (University of Chicago Press, 2020) bridges the intellectual history of chemistry and the wider worlds of early modern patronage, medicine, and science. Scroll down for further details about today’s guest. Support this Podcast Welcome to the programme and what an amazing week it’s been. In addition to talking to Tracey Rampling Brown about a 20-year journey and a leap of faith. I am having some amazing conversations with people from all walks of life that I would never have spoken to before. The conversations are all down to the virtual events, the latest being Spirit-duality. This week I have spoken to a Jesuit, a Rabi, an Intuitive Storyteller and I have scheduled a conversation with an Astronaut! More details below the show notes. Back to today’s guest Tracey Rampling Brown Back in April when I was planning my first event, I was looking for speakers and via a string of social connections I landed a call with Tracey Rampling Brown. I was met with her bright Australian accent and we hit it off immediately. Then I discovered she was living near Turin, Italy. She had relocated the family 18 month previously and life was ‘interesting’ as they were in the middle of a full COVID lockdown.Tracey was a great asset to the event, and she came back and did another session in my second event. But all the while I was aware there was a story. What is it that makes a family relocate to the other side of the world? It turns out that the move was the culmination of a 20-year journey and a leap of faith. Tracey and her husband were both born to families that travelled a lot through their work. They know the benefits that travel and new environments can bring and wanted their children to have the same experience. This podcast is her story. The journey of turning a dream into a new family life became a reality which meant a big change, a leap of faith and trusting in a little magic.Using that experience and some retraining, Tracey has built a new career as a ‘Mindset and Manifestation Coach’ working with heart-centred women looking to bring a bit of magic into their own lives.Tracey’s style is a blend of woo-woo with equal measures of science to back it up. She combines elements of Positive Intelligence, traditional and appreciative coaching methodologies with the Law of Attraction, Reiki and Tarot/Oracle reading! I hope you enjoy this week’s conversation with Tracey Rampling Brown. If you would like to get in touch with Tracey you can reach her through her website: https://vibrantcoach.com/ or via LinkedinFacebookInstagram As with all projects that are driven by passion and enthusiasm, this event grew out an internal inquiry… Why do my Podcast Guests Skirt Around The Spirituality Conversation? …which gets bigger and wider. There is a sense of wonder and synchronicity that comes from the connections and conversations we have. Spirit-duality is a bit like a Spiritual Christmas Hamper full of delicious goodies. When you dive in, you discover a lot of things you’ve never tried before. Some you’ll love, some you won’t, but unless you try them, you will never know. The event is in two sections: 5 days of Inspiring Conversations (that is the diving into the Christmas Hamper bit) and 2 days filled with empowering activities or coaching sessions (the bit where you get to taste all the goodies!) Take a look at our Event Page HERE

In this Episode During this conversation, I couldn't quite link the aim of the podcast to her story. In actual fact at one point during the conversation, I was a little confused. I was wondering how permission formed any part of what Tracey decided to do with her husband and children. Then in an instant, I saw how Tracey gave herself permission to begin a new adventure. Even though the decision she took was painful for her, she took the bold step. Many or perhaps most people associate birth with the coming of a new child. Birth comes in different shapes and forms, some of these shapes are not always comfortable, easy or simple. I was silent for a good few seconds in this episode because I had to allow her story and the sacrifice she made to sink in. I invite you to listen to this poignant story, one which clearly depicts what we do for the love of others. If you would love to be a guest, or if you know someone who would be a great guest, please get in touch via email, or send me a personal message. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/diane-xuereb/message
020: Danny Rampling. Danny Rampling is a superstar DJ who is one of the originators of the house music scene. After witnessing DJ Alfredo play in Amnesia on a fateful trip to Ibiza in 1987, Danny’s mind was opened up to how music can create a collective consciousness on the dancefloor and he decided to import this vibe back to Britain by setting up his legendary club night Shoom that then kickstarted the Summer Of Love in 1988. During this period Danny was also a host on the then pirate station of Kiss FM before moving to BBC Radio 1 where he hosted his iconic Friday night show the Love Groove Dance Party. Still very much a headliner on the scene, Danny is also an active campaigner for movements that seek to save our clubs, venues, artists and dancefloors – listen for the stories and be inspired by Mr Rampling’s call to arms to help support the night time industry. Scry so serious? The saga of John Dee continues in a massive second part of the episode. The second half of John Dee's life was even wilder than his first, scrying with Edward Kelley and writing down the angelic language. Flora continues an incredibly deep dive into the polymath's life, detailing his actions with Kelley, travels abroad, and his death. It's perhaps the most publicized part of his life. Countless esoteric and mystical pursuits have been inspired by the work he did in this period. David rounds out the misunderstood mathematician's life and discusses thoughts on his and Kelley's work. He also speaks to some out there theories on Dee's pursuits. Special thanks goes to author and historian Benjamin Woolley for joining to speak about many aspects of Dee's life and works. Make sure to pick up a copy of The Queen's Conjurer: The Life and Magic of Dr. Dee, an amazing resource for this massive 2 parter! Dee-viously Dee-lightful history! Flora is back with the beginning of a mega episode all about John Dee! Conjurer, magus, sorcerer, astrologer - these are but a few things the 16th century polymath John Dee was called. History knows him as a smart man who chose an occult path. He cast horoscopes. Talked with angels. Practiced alchemy. Continually searched for the secrets of the universe through math and natural science. But history often paints with a harsh light. What was this enigmatic genius really like? Was he the sorcerer and mysterious advisor to Elizabeth I that he's portrayed as? Or has he been maligned, misunderstood, and misrepresented? David has hit the books to get to the real man behind the myth. In the first of 2 parts, the first half of this interesting man's life is covered. He also hits some very fascinating history, with such figures as Gerardus Mercator, Francis Drake, and more. Part 2 will cover the second half of Dee's life, including his occult practices and scrying with Edward Kelley. Grab your cross staff and rent a room for calculing, you'll be traipsing through some fun history on this episode of Blurry Photos! Welcome to Reel Britannia-a very British podcast about very British films....with the occasional hint of professionalism. Join Scott and Steven as they head back to swinging London for their review of Georgy Girl from 1966 starring Lynn Redgrave, James Mason, Alan Bates and Charlotte Rampling. Georgina (Lynn Redgrave) is a carefree and childlike 22-year-old who finds more joy in her relationships with children than with the adults in her life. Her parents' employer, James Leamington (James Mason), proposes marriage, but Georgy avoids giving him an answer, as the idea of romance confuses her. When Georgy finds herself the caretaker of a baby girl, she seeks to find a way to shoulder the new responsibility while maintaining her childlike innocence. In this episode, I explore François Ozon's mysterious and emotionally devastating 2000 film "Under the Sand," starring Charlotte Rampling as Marie Drillon, a woman whose husband, Jean, unexpectedly disappears during a vacation on the beach. The film is about Marie's struggle to come to terms with the loss of Jean. I talk about the complex career of Rampling, why her performance is so powerful, and why I personally connect to this film because of its look at loss and death. Howdy folks and welcome to the Mancave Movie Review. The is the long awaited, much desired Episode 200 and the great and fantastic film we will be discussing is a John Boorman cult classic known as . This movie stars the great Sean Connery, John Alderton, the beautiful Charlotte Rampling and enchanting Sara Kestleman. So this is it, we talked about it for years and here we are. So sit back with a lot of alcohol while Steve, Mark, Ken, Jeff and The Reverend tell you why the penis is evil. Folks, this is my last show as your host and will be passing the torch. We kicked this off five years ago on a lark never really thinking we'd make it 5 years and 200 episodes. I have had much fun steering the ship but I feel it is time for some fresh leadership. I can't express enough how much I appreciate all of you who have actually spent the time listening to us and participating on the Facebook page and Twitter. It really means a lot and we hope you have gotten some enjoyment out of our very unstructured reviews. I believe the show will go on and I will be popping in from time to time but I am sure you will continue to get some quality mancave reviews. Ciao
This week, Keith Phipps of Uproxx and The Next Picture Show comes back to the show to help us make sense of the 1970s John Boorman/Sean Connery mindscrew Zardoz! Set in the year 2293, Zardoz tells the tale of Zed (Connery, wearing a red diaper and thigh-high leather boots, and nothing else) a brutish Exterminator who finds himself in an isolated community of decadent immortals who can't die, and suddenly want his seed to make babies. The whole affair is a series of big, bold choices, many of which don't work, but that's part of the charm of this bizarre little filmic artifact. Even so, it's still fun to break it all down for you, along with our custom cocktail and drinking rules! (Thanks to our sponsor Basecamp as part of the Chicago Podcast Coop!)
On today's Satellite Sisters, Monica, Liz and Julie establish the whereabouts of the missing sisters: news on Sheila Dolan and birthday girl Lian Dolan. Monica made a quick work trip to Los Angeles for a conference and provides her updates on using Uber for the first time, renting from VRBO and finding the right Yelp spot for dinner. You may be alarmed about what's happening in the election, but Julie is psyched about all the action at the First Ladies Desk. Big Dog Bill Clinton. Slovenian Supermodel Melania Trump. It's heating up, people. Julie is on the case. Julie also has a report of the movie 45 Years and a list of who should see that movie and, more importantly, who should NOT. Bravo to Charlotte Rampling for her performance but she's not so keen on the rest of it. The Styles section of the New York Times has a fascinating story by Laura Holson about music mogul David Geffen in today's paper, full of lots of great quotes including his own instructions to the reporter: "Write whatever you want." Hahaha. He renamed a building at Lincoln Center after himself. So long, Avery Fisher. Thanks for the early 70's effort. It's Geffen's music hall on your building now. Monica wants to know if you are interested at all in the new food trend: savory oatmeal. Yes? No? Sounds delish under the right circumstance. Follow us on Twitter @SatSisters. The sun, the surf, palms trees nodding gently in the tropical breeze, laser discs and well-oiled sex slaves whimpering...Welcome to the all-inclusive resort you'll wish you'd never heard of, The Club, from Exit to Eden by Anne Rice (or Anne Rampling). Kelly and Lexi are joined by Fiona; this is her first dirty book and they are so very, very sorry. There's the usual (Lexi's Confusion Corner, Unacceptable Euphemisms) and some brand-new horrors to contend with (butter and cinnamon), but we can guarantee that you'll feel what the French call a frisson of disgust somewhere along the way.
Jenny Rampling poses a seemingly simple question: what did early modern alchemists think they were doing and why?
Hot weather update! The problems with Berman, Frankie's butt and trampling Rampling.
Fancy some sunshine sounds? this mix is pure soulful house goodness and is ideal for a summers day in the park, sitting by the pool or having a sundown cocktail. Strangely enough this is my first soulful house mix and this vibe takes me back to early 2000s and the era that was Rowsley Lodge, House FM, Unknown FM, Camden Palace, Bobby and Steve Soul Heaven, movers and shakers in bond street, the buffalo bar in highbury corner and everything else soulful house related. Mr Mole, Mundis, Han, Jenwah, Stace, Dee, Rob, Sam, Tracy Luv, Matt Nash, Piglet, Olner and the man himself Mikey Matt you all knows it! The music on this podcast is what i call proper house music and while it reminds me of that era because every club or bar you went to was playing soulful tunes, these tunes i have used are fresh. The inspiration and many of the tunes on this mix comes from my man Choci. One of the pioneers of electronic music in London in the late 80s and early 90s for years Choci sold vinyls from his west end Choci's Chewns record shop to all the biggest DJs in the land Oakenfold, Tong, Rampling, Norman Jay, Bukem, Goldie and the like. He also DJ'd all over London and the world and had various residencies including Escape from Samara at the Fridge in Brixton. If you look on any flyer from the day Choci was there headlining and those guys previously mentioned were often supporting him. Choci is a musical legend inspired by the music not commercials, check out some of Choci's art and you can catch the man himself dj'ing on tuesdays live on Kane FM for Team Robbo. It took me a few tunes to settle into this mix as some of the early stuff is recorded live so has varying BPMs, there are 4 or 5 exclusive Choci edits/remixes on this mix. I will bang a track list up when i have time. Enjoy the tunes, just let the mix roll it builds and builds, sit back enjoy the sunshine, hopefully your sundowner and turn it up! Drop me an email or facebook shout to let me know if you've been listening and if you like it
This is what I played on the bank holiday at Mission in Leeds for Cream Classics, warming up for K-klass, Danny Rampling and the legend Todd Terry.

Hon fick sitt genombrott 1974 i filmen Nattportiern.
