Today Dispatch Live's Business Correspondent, Ted Keenan, interviews Travis McClure, director of NFB Private Wealth Management, and Liam Graham, director of NVest Securities. Between the two companies they have over 6,000 direct clients, the majority of them East London based, and well over R30bn assets under management and administration. The Podcast's theme: Wealth creation and wealth management, when and why to start, and how people slow out of the investment blocks can catch up. “Having our own stock broking company in the same building gives a flexibility and instant reaction time that is unparalleled in East London,” said McClure. "We don't take the trust of East Londoners for granted. We work hard at it, and know we have succeeded when our clients head into a financially stress-less retirement.” Said Graham: “If your investments, over a long term, are not beating inflation, and then some, you are going backward.”

West Ham legend Mark Noble sent an open letter to Hammers fans on Tuesday confirming he has signed a one-year contract extension at London Stadium but that next season will be his last in claret and blue. Will Pugh is joined by James Jones and Tom Edwards to discuss Noble's contributions to the club during his 17 year spell with his boyhood club, what the future holds and whether he should have a statue erected in his honour. Master tailor David Stevens was brought up in London's East End . As well as being a tailor with shops in Leigh on Sea and an office in Savile Row , David is also a singer and songwriter with several albums to his name . His latest recording is called Cold Rain .On this first episode of London lives , Ray meets David in Clerkenwell and they spend the day walking around London's East End . The East End that David grew up in was very different to the trendy , Hipster East End of today . David and Ray visit the block of flats where David grew up and who's neighbour was Sir Alan Sugar. They have their photo taken at Cedar Court where Ronnie and Reggie Kray used to have an apartment and David tells other fascinating stories about famous East Londoners such as Marc Bolan . This chat was conducted on the streets so at times the audio fades a little due to the wind and the rain! In fact , most of the interview was conducted with Ray and David huddling in a doorway of a block of flats !!If you have enjoyed Gelato's Parlour you can leave a voluntary contribution with the following PayPal link .
