Los programas musicales se convierten en un Caballo de Troya de las nuevas ideas para el Estado.En València, una discoteca desahuciada comercialmente va a acoger el reverso tenebroso de ese momento expeditivo: Chocolate. Allí, Toni Vidal, más conocido como Toni El Gitano, va a proponer sesiones y directos a horas imposibles. Los grupos actúan a las 2 y las 7 de la mañana. A menudo, bandas internacionales populares en los bares y pubs de València y que pasan por los platós de La Edad de Oro o Musical Expres.El Gitano quiere crear “una secta en torno a la música”. Los inadaptados de la ciudad y de las poblaciones próximas pasan allí el fin de semana. Situada a 500 metros de Barraca, se convierte en su after. Poco tiempo después, ya tiene una identidad propia y es la cara oscura del fenómeno. Pero su música es tanto o más vanguardista de lo que suena en la discoteca vecina o en Espiral, la versión de estos espacios de libertad en la zona norte de València. Abre Arena, una sala de conciertos para 3.000 personas, y el flujo de artistas internacionales influyendo en la ciudad se acelera. Las minorías son cada vez más numerosas.

Bolero presenta, a través de @Radio13Noticias, un homenaje a Los Churumbeles de España. “Los Churumbeles de España”, una de las orquestas más exitosas de la década de los 50 en México y América Latina, grabaron diez discos y vendieron más de diez millones de copias entre 1950 y 1965. El grupo fue fundado por José Fernández Ruiz en 1949 para poder cumplir un contrato en Cuba que les permitiera salir de la España franquista. Don Jose “Pepe” Fernández Ruiz ya se había revelado como violinista portentoso, y con sólo 19 años ejercía como primer violín en la orquesta parisiense de Rafael Canaro. A orillas del Sena alternó Fernández con el quinteto Hot Club, donde ya despuntaban dos de los jazzistas más influyentes del siglo, el guitarrista Django Reinhardt y el violinista Stéphane Grapelli. Ya bajo el nombre de Los Churumbeles de España y comenzando a cosechar una incipiente reputación y fama como versátiles y grandioso músicos, deciden echar raíces en un determinado lugar, país o ciudad con el sano propósito de hacer difundir su música y brindarle a una mayor suma de personas el arte del que hacían gala. Fueron conocidos por canciones como: “Doce cascabeles”, “El beso”, “La zarzamora”, “En mi viejo San Juan”, “Bajo el cielo andaluz”, “Dos cruces”, “La leyenda del beso, Es mi niña bonita”, Dos cruces”, El beso, El Gitano señoron, No te puedo querer”, entre otras muchas, obteniendo gran éxito en toda América. En voz de su principal cantante Juan Legido, se constituyeron como grandes intérpretes de destacados boleros morunos como: Dos Cruces, El inmigrante, Camino verde, etc. Don Juan Legido, toda una gloria de la música universal, cantante español residente en México, conocido como “El gitano señorón”, falleció de un paro cardíaco a los 73 años de edad en Colombia. Direct V-Day Show DownloadOkay, maybe it's not completely lovey-dovey, but upon examination of the songs I've predominantly used in this episode, some might think it's close... I'm a sap, n' it shows. ;)I tried over and over and over again to make the music I wanted to use in this episode line up to create a storytelling ep. of sorts, but nothing ever quiiite worked out- so I just used a refinement of my first list; where the items have been lined up the way they are because they just sound good that way. :) One could say that they're now in little thematic groupings of things like "love lost," "love gained" and "love sought," but the only two pieces w/real placement meaning are those placed at the very end.
