Here's Why I'm Single... . #spiritualjourney #selflove #soultribe . Hey everyone! Here's why I'm single... Many people are out there right now searching for the perfect partner or the perfect person when in reality we are not perfect ourselves. It's true that who we really are is a worthy, whole, and complete being. But sometimes we do not accept ourselves in that way, or maybe we have limiting beliefs which then gets reflected back to us from the people in our life. By the Law of Attraction, you are constantly bringing things into your experience based off of your vibration. If you feel worthy, whole and complete within yourself, then you are going to attract people of similar vibration. The problem is many people are jumping into relationships for the wrong reasons. Some do it just because they don't want to be alone, due to the disharmony within themselves. If only people knew that this journey and experience on earth was all about the relationship you have with yourself. Yes, you can attract the perfect situations, jobs, friends, or even a relationship, but the greatest relationship you could ever have is always with yourself first! Through my journey so far I learned that most of the relationships I have ever had always had 1 thing in common. They taught me about myself, forced me to look within myself, thus discovering more about who it is I really am. This is one of the main purposes in life, and when you can manage this, you will naturally attract the perfect partner. How would you recognize your perfect partner / perfect reflection if you were not clear within yourself first. How could you give to another when your cup was not first filled? This is why many times people will break up for what seems like no reason. They are changing their vibration, changing their point of attraction, which shifts everything around them. This comes from new desires, intentions to grow, and just expansion in general. The more you raise your vibration and expand which connects to what we were saying earlier (getting clear on who it is you really are, your core vibration) the more clear your outer reflection will be meaning it will be easier to notice your divine reflection. This is why many people are single on the planet right now including myself, taking the inner journey. Working on themselves. This is the perfect opportunity for that, because when you are in a relationship, your focus gets diluted from yourself. This is another reason why achieving union with your higher self or who you really are is the key to attract the perfect partner. . . . Welcome to the reprise episode of Horror Movies That Make Me Happy I'm Single. The first episode was filled with so much wry fun that Andrew just had to do another. On this episode, we explore the toxicity that dwells in the subconscious of Scream, It Follows, Annihilation, and Possession.
Today, Andrew reflects on bachelorhood, and some horror movies that support the single life. Tales of gaslighting so horrible that they will make you wonder why anyone ever trusts another person. "I found there were no roots more intimate than those between a mind and body that have decided to be whole." - Rupi Kaur I had a few requests from friends for episode topics and I was about to record one on career change. But then I realized I had an opportunity to talk about something much closer to my heart today. I am single, I've been single for a long time, and I just got rejected yesterday in a promising relationship. So it's a perfect time for me to check in with how I'm owning my worth while being alone. I know a lot of us experience alone-ness on many levels. Being alone in the sense of being single, without a romantic partner, is definitely a poignant and sometimes heavy kind of aloneness. But something changed for me in how I view this experience of aloneness in the last year. My relationship with myself has beautifully transformed as I've practiced owning my worth by myself. And I'm really grateful for this transformation. In this episode, straight from my humble, single heart, I'm sharing the ways I've learned to be at home and whole with myself. We are back and better than ever! Well, better than like 75% of the time. Ok, back and better than a few times but probably not quite as good as some other times. Are you happy? ANYWAYS! We have returned from hiatus with another fantastic episode of Dan Saves the World. This one was meant to be a quick hitter but lasted a bit longer than expected. Dan Himself is riding solo today, but we still cover things like how it's scientific fact that the internet was cooler before it sold out, why Donnie and Marie Osmond suck, a brand new way to describe the most badass generation ever, and more! Plus, as a special add-on, we'll dig into why I think the phrase "...and that's why I'm single!" is a timeless piece of English vernacular that absolutely cannot be lost to the sands of time. All things being equal many of us believe Christian marriage is the ideal. So our activities, programs, interactions lead us to believe that if we aren't married we are not yet blessed by God or even useful to God. So what are we to do if we are single? Can we be used by God? Or are we relegated to the sidelines of the church, waiting for marriage? God's vision for all of us is one of service and devotion to him. Whatever our status, we are each called to honor God with our lives.

Direct V-Day Show DownloadOkay, maybe it's not completely lovey-dovey, but upon examination of the songs I've predominantly used in this episode, some might think it's close... I'm a sap, n' it shows. ;)I tried over and over and over again to make the music I wanted to use in this episode line up to create a storytelling ep. of sorts, but nothing ever quiiite worked out- so I just used a refinement of my first list; where the items have been lined up the way they are because they just sound good that way. :) One could say that they're now in little thematic groupings of things like "love lost," "love gained" and "love sought," but the only two pieces w/real placement meaning are those placed at the very end. ("Where Beauty Moves" and "Breakable.")Upon final examination (and the nagging feeling that I was missing something- which inspired this realization) I kind of wish I'd put "Where Beauty Moves" before "Strict Machine" (as the feelings of the song would go better together, it'd be a better transition from "Beauty" to "Machine," and it wouldn't be such a jarring change from "Sadeness" to "Beauty.."), but at this point the work is done, and I'm not up for re-doing the whole end of the show again, like I've already done once. ;) (It's a LOT of work! :)) Perhaps you'll decide to buy these tunes online or in your local area somewhere, and you can make your own fantabulous playlist. :):)Big props go out to ArielPublicity for access to so many songs for this episode, and as always to IodaPromonet n' the PMN!I hope this show inspires you and makes your heart grow fonder, and that you dig all the tunes herein. :)♥♥♥DJ Selchie, Your Siren of Song ;)Track List1. Amy Speace - Two (So romantic!!)2. The Shanghai Restoration Project -Miss Shanghai Revealed (SOO sweet!!)3. Tori Lewis feat. Talent - Where I Wanna Be (How you should feel when you're in love. :))4. The Latin Soul Syndicate - El Gitano del Amor (You GOTTA have some Latin music on a show about love n' passion!!!)5. Donna Lewis - Shout (How so many of us feel when we're in love.. :))6. Peter Bradley Adams - Under My Skin (SUCH a beautifully intense, romantic song!! -Almost sounds like Allison Krause in the background.. no?)7. The Silentreatment - Sweet Ending (A yearning heart hoping for what we all hope for... :))8. Deirdre Flint - I'm Single (How some of us feel during this holiday. ;))9. Enigma - The Principles of Lust (The Everlasting Lust Remix) ('Cause love is more than just candy hearts and sonnets. -Ah yes- and show correction, they're German. :))10. Lothlorien - Willie and Mary (Love is often crossed with hardship. We can only nurture hope & follow our hearts.)11. Andy Davis - Earth and Venus (Sometimes we don't know how to handle love when we find it...) 12. Goldfrapp - Strict Machine (Love is not always the same for everyone... ;))13. Enigma - Sadeness Part 1 (The US Violent Remix) (Love can be painful- & some folks like it that way. ;))14. The New World Renaissance Band - Where Beauty Moves & Wit Delights (One of the loveliest male voices I've ever heard sings of how love doesn't always turn out the way we wish it would...)15. Ingrid Michaelson - Breakable (Both love and Life are two supremely precious commodities.)Background Music: Enigma - Sadeness Part 1 (The US Violent Remix)Overall message: We need to be careful with each other. Love is a treasure and so are the hearts and lives of the people around us in our lives. We should treat them accordingly. :) Lastly; I know that the quality of my microphone is still drek, but I hope that the quality of my music more than makes up for that. :):) Also, I hope that this Valentine's Day you find love in your life- no matter what form it takes. And that if you don't, you might at least find some cheer w/the music in this show, and that you keep your heart and hope open for love soon to come. :):)♥♥♥-DJS
