My guest this week is Roop Sandhur. He is my annual camping and Tough Mudder companion, but most importantly a badass friend. A modern day Girl-Dad, an expert in Ji-Jitsui and a Podcast host himself. He has an extensive resume having worked in surveillance, the court house system, and, most recently, as a Corrections Officer at the notorious Toronto South Detention Center. We barely scratched the surface with our conversations, but join us as we talk about backwoodcamping, floatation tanks, and Roop's various work experiences. Here's the follow up to my first experience in a float tank, also known as a sensory deprivation tank. The list of benefits can be found anywhere online. For me, what I found most obvious was the fresh feeling afterwards and how relaxed I felt. I'm definately booking again to get more practice in on learning to switch off. I recommend anyone trying it. I went to a place local to me, you can visit their site at http://www.cornmill-healthcentre.co.uk/contact.htm
