Are you struggling in your marriage? Do you feel like you continue to get offended at your spouse? For Brad and Marilyn, the honeymoon was over before the honeymoon was over. They both found themselves disillusioned and disappointed. So many of us live in a performance based marriage and focus on what we do or our spouse does. We also live too much on the surface and keep score. We need to shift from an offense mentality to a grace and help mentality. Grace and love make better change agents than pressure and consequence. Hear this powerful testimony and beautiful insight and wisdom from the Bible to bring grace into your marriage.“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” ~Romans 6:14“For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” ~James 2:3Grace Marriage website: https://gracemarriage.com/our-team/To purchase The Grace Marriage: https://www.amazon.com/Grace-Marriage-Intentionality-Transform-Relationship/dp/0802421482/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1V0LO6W09WDZ0&keywords=the+grace+marriage+by+brad+and+marilyn+rhoads&qid=1707574520&sprefix=grace+marriage%2Caps%2C284&sr=8-1Heidi's website: https://heidimortensonlmft.com/If you are in crisis, help is available by call or text 1-800-273-8255 24/7. Brad & Marilyn Rhoads founded the ministry of Grace Marriage in 2015 to help churches and couples prioritize marriage. Before pursuing marriage ministry full-time, Brad practiced law for 22 years and witnessed first-hand the breakdown of the family. He serves as marriage pastor at their local church. And he and his wife Marilyn, along with Brittany Cragg, co-authored the book The Grace Marriage; How the Gospel and Intentionality Transform Your Relationship. Brad and Marilyn’s first fight of their marriage was at their wedding reception. From there, as Brad dove into practicing law he was primarily living for himself. One day his Uncle Tom called and basically forced him to go to a marriage conference. He told Brad that even though he was a huge success he was failing. Brad had a revelation at that conference that changed his marriage and his life. If you want to learn to move towards your spouse instead of away from them you’ll want to listen to this podcast and read this book.Support the show: https://give.moodyradio.org/fall-share?v=def&appeal=MRWM&_gl=1%2a142i9we%2a_ga%2aNTE4MTE5MmUtY2U1Yy00YmQ3LWU4MmUtNjEwYTQ5YzAyODRj%2a_ga_4WH1937046%2aMTY5NTExODEwMS4yOTkuMC4xNjk1MTE4MTAxLjYwLjAuMA..&_ga=2.197426156.215784306.1695059984-1182841406.166859587See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
