(spoilers 12 minutes in) (Korg): Gather around, kids. Once upon a time, there were four industrious, thoughtful, not unwell or poorly fragrant people who had thoughts on movies, and they shared them in forceful but polite conversation with one another on a strange, easy-to-use application called a (checks notes) Podcast! The four were Jack, a big, gentle man with a loud laugh, cinema knowledge and (sometimes) bad jokes and puns (notice how he tries to make a reference to Dr Jane Foster and the hammer here to a now retired CW show and you'll get the idea); Andrew, who can break down a plot and why it does or doesn't work better than anyone on the planet; Trash-Panda Korey (hey, that moniker sounds like someone I met and had adventures with a few times, but anyway), who will tell you in no uncertain terms what she thought of a movie up front (good night, everybody!); and, in this case, Miljonir Guest Star Matt (of https://mattthecatania.wordpress.com) who knows practically all there is about the source material of the comics. Together, they make quite the team, and here, for this Thor Love and Thunder review, they uh... wait, I lost my train of thought. Oh, right, they take it apart and see what does (and doesn't) work about this *29th* Marvel Cinematic Universe movie film! Now, forgive me if I rambled, I am still just a head...

Hello on this Friday! Today's "B" episode starts with the regular comic book pick list, showcasing what was good and interesting in this week's comics! This week I have a lot to say about a few titles, including the start to the Hellfire Gala for the Marvel X-Men, the fifth of twelve issues of Batman/Catwoman, Jed McKay's ever-glorious Black Cat, and the final issue of Sean Lewis and Caitlin Yarksy's Bliss--one of the most touching single issues of a comic I have ever read. Seriously, if you pick up just one comic this week, make it Bliss #8, in order to read the incredibly poignant ending story. After comics talk is Superman and Lois, which itself was surprisingly touching, as well. I had to stop and talk a bit about how great the character of Lois Lane is portrayed as, and how awesome it is to see her continually working to better herself and get through her deep-seeded issues, no matter how perfect she seems on the outside. The news this week follows Netflix's Jupiter's Legacy and Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder! One was cancelled, and one finished filming--you get three guesses as to which is which, and the first two don't count. Sweet Tooth premiers on Netflix today, as well as another episode of the Bad Batch on Disney+! I'll talk about both on Monday's episode 21A, along with the coming comic book pull list and whatever additional news and speculation drops over the weekend! In the meantime, have some fun as we get closer to summer, and remain sweaty about comics, always.
