Gorgonà | Sci-Fi aus Griechenland mit Ambitionen und (zu) viel Sex „Gorgona“ von Evi Kalogiropoulou startet am 18. Dolly | Großes Gemetzel im 16mm-Wald - Was taugt dieser Grindhouse-Horror? Während einer Wanderung stoßen Chase und seine Freundin Macy auf eine Ansammlung von Porzellanpuppen, die einen abgelegenen Friedhof bewachen. Dort begegnen sie Dolly, einer verstörenden Gestalt mit Puppenmaske, die gerade ihre eigene Mutter beerdigt. Ehe sie sich versehen, wird Chase niedergeschlagen und Macy entführt, um sie in einem isolierten Haus wie ihr eigenes Kind aufzuziehen. Gefangen in einem Albtraum aus Kontrolle, Gewalt und Wahn kämpft Macy ums Überleben. Regisseur Rod Blackhurst inszeniert mit "Dolly" einen Film, der sich klar am Grindhouse-Kino der 1970er-Jahre und modernen Folk-Horror-Elementen orientiert und diese mit einem körnigen 16mm-Look sowie handgemachten Spezialeffekten verbindet. Liebe Leute, wie stellt ihr euch das vor? Potenziert wird dieses Ärgernis in Zeiten wie diesen, in denen man von einem Fernsehstudio ins nächste rennt, sich krumm und bucklig schuftet und sich zeitgleich die ganze Studio Bummens-Crew auf einem dubiosen „Offsite-Event“ in der brandenburger Pampa die Rüstung zurömert und das ganze mal wieder Teambuilding nennt. Also Leute, Realtalk: Ich, der arme Willi, hat diesmal so gar keine Zeit und Nerv für Podcast-Prosa, weshalb ich hier noch pflichtbewusst ein paar Zeilen Inhalt zusammenkleckse und dann gefälligst in Ruhe gelassen werden will. Die komplette Baywatch Crew war aus Versehen am Wochenende Boot fahren und natürlich war das alles wieder peinlich und chaotisch.
