There’s twice opportunity. The first opportunity was at 11 or 12 years old, older friends of mine got a Yamaha’s synthesizer. I had never seen and touched real synthesizer, So I was so excited. After that, I like music made with synthesizers. The second is around 18 year old. I met “Techno” music. Aphex Twin, Black Dog, Hardfloor, UR, etc. ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█ b- What made you go from being a listener of music to a maker of music? Hmm... getting a old sampler (Yamaha TX16W) maybe. And then I played sampling from record and followed UR style, Aphex Twin style, black dog style… making music. ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█ c - What was your first piece of production gear or software? (1990-) Yamaha B200 + Yamaha RX8 (←This is my first set) ↓ (1995-) Roland MC500 Mk2 + D50 + Yahama TX802 + TX16W ↓ blah blah blah.. ↓ (2003-) MPC2000XL + Jomox XBase09 + etc. ↓ (2007-) Ableton Live + etc. ↓ (2013-) NI Maschine Mk2 + etc. ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█ d - Why have you chosen each of the tracks you have chosen i.e. why are they special to you? d - (1) Please choose 2 tracks that inspired you to start making music (any genre) 1. Polygon Window - Polygon Window 2. UR - Jupiter Jazz These are my flesh and blood. If only about ELECTRO: 1. Ozone Layer - Planetary Deterioration (Anthony Rother 1999 Remix) Coming across this track, I’m addicted to ELECTRO. 2. Dave Clarke - Break Cover Simple, heavy, groovy sound. ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█ d - (2) Please choose 2 tracks that have blown you away in the last 12 months (electronic genres) 1. AE35 - Underdrain (Suntra Remix) Suntra is a techno producer lives in Tokyo. He remixed my “Underdrain”. This track is better than original track! Excellent!! 2. Mike Ash - Space Age I’m excited with the feeling of starting something and speeding. 3. The Hidden Persuader - Don't Fear What You Don't Know I really like this solid beat and inorganic sound 4. CRZKNY - Resist CRZKNY(crazy keny) is Juke/Electro producer in Hiroshima. This track is from MIXWORKS. I like his feeling of dystopia. ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█ d - (3) Please choose 2 to 4 tracks of your own (or that you have had a part in) that you are most proud of 1. Samurai Sword Sharpness [TEBR-002] I can express my hard electro style. I’ll make this style again soon. Main equipments are MPC2000XL and Jomox Xbase09. 2. Special Pattern [AGD001] I made this track without thinking, just feeling. Maybe this is my pure character. This track made from the rhythm part of jingle of Bass Agenda’s “Big in Japan”. Main equipment is only NI Maschine. 3. Underdrain (Red) [TEBR-008] I can express my deep electro style. Main equipment is also only NI Maschine. 4. Mindseeker [Fdb02-6] This track also without thinking. Ableton Live and some soft synths. ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█ e - What is you favorite piece of gear or software today? DAW: NI Maschine Mk2. (easy operation as MPC and simple than ableton) Synth: Jomox Xbase09 and Access Virus A (easy operation and good sounds :)) ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█ f - What have you got planned for the future musically? At first, managing my electro label, “Anti Gravity Device”. Next month, Fleck E.S.C’s EP will be released. After that I’m planing Noise&Noise, Mr. Myoplact, etc… The purpose of this label is spreading good electro to the world, not business. So I want to release electro sounds constantly when I want, whose I like, as my lifework. About my activities, I have to make more tracks. I’m slow maker… And I want to play my first(!) live set by the end of this year. ║▌│█│║▌█║▌│██║▌│█│║▌█║▌│█
