Support the show: https://krant.nlSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Swedish oat milk brand Oatly has taken on some eyebrow-raising investments over the past few years. It insists those investments haven't changed its proud identity as a climate-saving company – but is that really true? In the third and final episode of ‘The Oatly Chronicles', we investigate a piggy controversy, why oat milk is so damn expensive, and whether Oatly is acting like a big, bad oat milk monopoly. And we ask: what *should* we be eating, to save the planet? This series is funded by Journalismfund Europe and the Allianz Foundation. Thanks for listening. Kelly Cates is joined by Jamie Carragher, Curtis Davies and Karen Carney as Luis Diaz scored a late equaliser on an emotional return to the Liverpool team to deny a brilliant Luton side a memorable Premier League win. Jamie Carragher slammed Darwin Nunez for not scoring after failing to score several opportunities by saying ‘he has to stop the memes'. Jurgen Klopp gave his opinion on a potential handball in the build-up to Luton's goal and whether Virgil van Dijk was fouled in the penalty area five minutes before. Nottingham Forest's two-nil against Aston Villa is also analysed after Emiliano Martinez's mistake helped Steve Cooper's side to end a six-game winless run along with Newcastle's controversial win against Arsenal on Saturday night.

Swedish oat milk company Oatly says it's on a mission to defeat the almighty dairy industry and save the planet. To do that, it claims it needs to grow into a massive corporate success — and it's willing to take on controversial investments to get there. In episode two of ‘The Oatly Chronicles', we investigate what makes those investors so controversial. It takes us on a journey from green capitalism being battled out in the coffee shops of Malmö; to enormous housing protests in a post-financial crisis Spain; to… China? In 1994, the world's first oat milk company was born in Sweden. Three decades later, Oatly is on a high-stakes mission to defeat the dairy industry – by growing into the biggest plant-based brand the world has ever seen. Hello Rank Squad! It's that time of year again, where the crème de la crème of world football dust out the old tuxedos and head for Paris for the glittering Ballon d'Or ceremony - the home of the famous incident where Virgil van Dijk was once asked if he wears aftershave on the pitch by some eejits. We look through the 30 man shortlist for football's most prestigious individual prize and whittle it down to 10, before giving our thoughts on the ranking of the top 10 footballers in the world last year. Will Lionel Messi claim his 8th trophy? Will Erling Haaland's ridiculous goal record put him on top of the pile? Or could World Cup Golden Boot winner Kylian Mbappé finally get his hands on the trophy after his sixth nomination - a reminder that he's only 24. We look through it all, and the best of the rest. It's Ranks!
Chapter 1: While everybody else was thinking about where they were going, he figured out a way to get there. Meet the guy who stood up to his Goliath with nothing more than a pink mustache--the founder of Lyft, John Zimmer.Chapter 2: John Zimmer learns—well before he founded the company that became Lyft—that traveling the world when you're young will change what you thought was important.Chapter 3: Once you've found your territory it's easy to build a community on top of it, but if you stake your claim, be prepared to fight. Zimmer isn't a boxer, but does know the balance of muscle vs. moves when it comes to winning a fight, whether in the ring or in business. Instead of trying to be bigger, sometimes it's best to be better.CREDITSExecutive Producers: Dave Chappelle, Radio Rahim, Noah Gersh, Jamie Schefman, Nick Panama, Kenzi Wilbur, Elliot O'DeaMusic & Sound Design: Eric RaichelsonCreative Producer: Alex CasnoffHead of Production: Liz LeMayHead of Engineering: Jordan GalvanProduction Manager: Allie StrobelPost Coordinator: Alice BearnEdited by: Geoffrey MutchnikMixed by: Zack DjurichAdditional Editing & Sound Design: Jasper van Dijk & Noah Kowalski Til This Day is a Luminary Original Podcast in partnership with Pilot Boy Productions and SALT Audio.

What is the secret behind executing the perfect pass? Is it timing? Technique? Vision? Trent Alexander-Arnold reveals his thoughts on the process in the first episode of a brand-new season of We Are Liverpool. Joining Peter McDowall and new co-host Jan Molby, Liverpool's vice-captain talks us through his on-pitch expertise and the story behind the moment he became part of the club's new captaincy team with Virgil van Dijk. We'll also find out which game is the biggest in the calendar for him and his greatest moment on a football pitch.
On this week's episode of Unseen Incidents, we're diving headfirst into the debate around Liverpool. Yes, they lost to Spurs, but plenty of people think a title challenge is a reasonable possibility for the Reds, and that they are back above Arsenal and Newcastle, but what suggests that's right, and what are the red flags? We dig into the red cards, van Dijk, Salah, and the new midfielders to see what kind of side is Klopp is building. Then it's time for the Burn Book, which this week features burger construction, the Nintendo Switch, and table manners. When you hear the word “hangtime” you think “Michael Jordan:” When you hear “Bend it:” you think “Beckham.” Those words define men, but this man's words define a sport. Chapter 1: It's time to meet the rumble-readier: Let's get ready to Michael Buffer! When opportunity meets preparation they call that luck. The problem is knowing which opportunities to prepare for. Can meritocracy make things fairer? Does it level the playing field? A meritocracy is a system where power and advancement are granted to individuals based solely on talent, effort, ability, and achievement. That we will be evaluated based solely on performance as measured through objective criteria and demonstrated achievement. The problem is the premise of meritocracy. The assumption is that evaluations in the workforce are objective, despite research and knowledge that we as human beings, social beings with different experiences, are incapable of being completely objective. So then, if we know that, we should be more realistic about the limitations of meritocracy principles in organizations. Indeed, research overwhelmingly confirms that much of our evaluation in hiring and promoting is NOT based on purely objective criteria, despite our utopian belief and desire for this to be the case. So, this episode of the #advancingwomenpodcast holds the idea of meritocracy and women's advancement up the scrutiny of the scientific knowledge of human behavior, biases, and blind spots, as well as the erroneous assumptions that guide meritocratic ideologies which ultimately serve to hinder women's advancement. #tunein References Staniscuaski, F.
