Plymouth Township trustees have yet to say if Michigan taxpayers will shell out $25 million to move a horse racetrack 4.5 miles. When the Northville Downs horse racetrack closes at this year's end, it might move to Plymouth Township. Ellen Harvey, who is the current Executive Director of Harness Racing Communications will be joining the program. She has been involved with the sport in several capacities for more than 30 years. Carol Hodes, a longtime member of the NJSEA (New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority) publicity team will also be joining the program. Hodes was a staff reporter for the Star-Ledger from 1974 to 1981. 2016 Breakthrough Award Winner Allison Conte will also be a part of the program. Conte, the current Social Media Manager for the U.S. Trotting Association, oversees the many platforms established within the USTA’s Communications Department, including the Harness Racing FanZone website. Post Time with Mike and Mike's very own Jessica Otten will also be a part of the show.  Currently enrolled at Mott Community College, Otten is majoring in business management.  She started making her presence felt in the sport of harness racing by providing behind-the-scenes access to the happenings at Northville Downs. The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono's racing season is set to begin on Tuesday, March 21st. Mike and Mike will preview their race meet with Race Secretary Rick Kane, Racing Marketing Manager Jennifer Starr, and Track Announcer Jim Beviglia. Pocono's original opening day of March 18th had to be pushed back due to Winter Storm Stella.  USTA Director and Northville Down's Operations Manager Mike Carlo will join the program to talk about the state of affairs in Michigan. Carlo took over as a Director of USTA District 2 when Ken Marshall passed away late last year. Pompano Park Director of Racing Operations Gabe Prewitt will come on the show to continue the weekly Pompano Park segment.  Pompano went over the $1 million mark in handle on Sunday, a feat the track has only accomplished a few times in it's storied history.
