Would you like to hear about yesterday's primaries? If so, you've come to the right place, KITM, with the right people, David Waldman and Greg Dworkin, to satisfy all your post-primary cravings. In Connecticut, voters embraced change and sent warhorse John Larson out to pasture. In Minnesota, the primary upended political assumptions in 6 ways, none of which are as fun as watching Mike Lindell (and Trump) lose. Mike, ever the crowd pleaser, plans to lose the election over and over again for the foreseeable future. In South Carolina, Darline Graham and Trump aren't yet losing but are now failing. In Wisconsin, it wasn't quite a progressive triumph, but almost, with Francesca Hong's last-minute plateauing and normie Dems flooding the polls. David Crowley might not like campaigning, but apparently, he seems to love holidays. Almost no one is as normie or as old as James Carville, yet he supports Abdul El-Sayed. On to the midterms, if we can keep them. Every slimeball is spit balling election subversion, including the Wad in Chief. The problem is that people hate trump, which in turn keeps boosting Democratic numbers. Also, election subversion tends to be illegal… as if hatred or illegality ever bothered Trump before. Election denier Cleta Mitchell granted DHS elections official Heather Honey a lot of money. A special grand jury might not find enough evidence to bring anyone to trial, but it will allow Jeanine Pirro and Trump to be incredibly catty. So far, Donald K. Trump has been able to stuff 5 scandals into his "Air Force One" Scandal, but there's always room for plenty more!
On today's podcast, Charlie Sykes and Matt discuss:—Why DSA member and failed Wisconsin candidate Francesca Hong was an “absurdly bad candidate” (and why Bernie and AOC stayed away)— How Dems realized they were about to blow a winnable race and hand Wisconsin to an election-denier, so they voted for David Crowley, a candidate who had previously dropped out of the race— Charlie says there are three things every candidate must prove to voters (Hong went 0-for-3)— Matt says 2026 is largely “baked in the cake” as a blue-wave year driven by Trump fatigue, overreach, tariffs, ICE, etc. But! Dems better not take 2028 for granted.— An Independent / Centrist / Unity-Ticket surge has Katie Hobbs (Arizona Democratic governor) picking a Republican running mate, and David Jolly (former Republican Never Trumper congressman) picking a prominent Democrat as running mate in Florida.— Can we trust the polls?— Plus: Trump's catering-truck Air Force One escape, the independent/unity-ticket surge, Minnesota, Michigan, and more.— And MUCH more!Subscribe to Matt Lewis on Substack: https://mattklewis.substack.com/Support Matt Lewis at Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/mattlewisFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MattLewisDCTwitter: https://twitter.com/mattklewisInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mattlewisreels/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVhSMpjOzydlnxm5TDcYn0A– Who is Matt Lewis? –Matt K. Republicans amp up the fear-mongering on "communism" as Democrats try to move past some of their nominees' most controversial past statements. In the words of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: "Woke 1 was crazy." Jon and Lovett discuss how Democrats can pivot, today's Democratic primaries in Wisconsin and Minnesota, Trump's desperation to end the war he started, and his newest executive order on vaccines. They also react to the Senate Republicans' YOLO caucus surrendering on Todd Blanche's confirmation, Jesse Watters's disdain for the WNBA, and Hunter Biden's appearance on Tucker Carlson's show. Then, Lovett is joined by Montana congressional candidate and smokejumper Sam Forstag to discuss why he's running for office, the impact of the DOGE cuts, the housing crisis in his state, and more.Hate listening to ads? On Monday's Mark Levin Show, political correctness is running amok in the WNBA. There are two issues facing the WNBA: transgender athletes and racism. A small fraction of athletes - transgenders - are threatening to destroy opportunities for biological women and girls. This is not a civil rights issue. Women have fought for 50 years for equality in sports. That doesn't mean men and women are the same. It means women and girls have the opportunity to flourish in athletics. It's time to make a decision: will a relatively handful of individuals destroy the purpose of a women's sports league? Or will the overwhelmingly biological female athletes compete on a level playing field. The WNBA is a business and the hierarchy and players should treat it as such. The only color that should matter is the color of money: green. Whether it's the men's NBA or the WNBA, people want to see the best athletes, regardless of color. Then, President Trump called out the democratic socialist and jihadist candidates for their radicalism and craziness. They want to eliminate the Senate, Supreme Court, police, military, etc. No other president would talk this way. Also, AOC says she has frozen her eggs. Why the need to announce it? Some things you keep private. She also talked about Francesca Hong, a far-left DSA running for governor of Wisconsin. AOC hedged her bet, saying all politics are local, woke one was crazy she says, and we have to assess what a candidate is saying now. AOC and other leading Democrats aren't endorsing Hong because they think she won't win and want to keep losses to a minimum. As far as Abdul El-Sayed, she's excited, saying it's a time of renewal for the Democratic party. Then, Bernie Sanders knows Hong can't win in Wisconsin. He was asked why he doesn't endorse her if her positions line up with his and he fell back on the old, tired trope: tax the rich. El-Sayed says he differs with Bernie on capitalism, saying we live under "corporatism." El-Sayed is a jihadist, an Islamist, and a bald-faced liar. Finally, in defense of AIPAC: El-Sayed complained they plan to spend $3.8 million against him next week. The Dems are making AIPAC - and Israel - the defining issues of the midterm elections. El-Sayed says the money the U.S. sends to Israel should be spent here on healthcare, etc. Facts: the U.S. spent $7 Trillion last year. Israel received $3.8 billion...in other words, five one-hundredths of 1% of total federal spending. In return, the U.S. gets an indispensable ally. AIPAC is an American organization serving American interests. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

In this episode of Selective Ignorance, Mandii B is joined by super producer A-King and headline king Jason “Jah” Lee for a wide-ranging conversation exploring politics, current events, media, sports, internet culture, and accountability. Mandii opens the show by previewing another packed episode [ 00:38 ]. After introducing the producers and celebrating a birthday [ 03:02 ], the crew eases into the conversation with playful banter about Spanish language skills, cultural identity, respectability politics, and internet clapbacks [ 03:25 ][ 07:22 ][ 08:25 ]. Mandii's signature "Ignorant Take" argues that society has lost its sense of humor, using the story of a Welsh man arrested for standing on a hospital roof dressed as the Grim Reaper as an example of where comedy collides with public outrage [ 11:47 ]. That conversation expands after reacting to a viral Tourette syndrome traffic stop video [ 17:42 ], before debating fake medical emergencies, cheating, and the ethics of manipulating sympathy [ 22:56 ]. The segment concludes with discussion surrounding a fatal altercation inside a Tim Hortons, where a 75-year-old customer later died after suffering a medical episode during a fight, prompting questions about accountability, escalation, and public responsibility [ 25:34 ]. In "This Is America," the crew return to the Nolan Wells case, providing updates after reports that the official autopsy has been presented to a grand jury [ 28:15 ]. The crew discusses the complications surrounding a second autopsy after several organs were removed, debating how those limitations may affect future legal proceedings while examining whether responsibility extends beyond visible injuries alone [ 32:44 ]. The conversation then pivots toward national politics as the hosts examine growing momentum among progressive candidates heading into the upcoming midterm elections [ 34:16 ], before reacting to Cory Booker's criticism of Democratic leadership, political corruption, and institutional complacency [ 36:28 ]. They also unpack conversations surrounding AIPAC, campaign influence, and congressional term limits [ 40:13 ], while debating how progressive politicians are packaged, marketed, and received by voters [ 46:03 ]. Politics remains front and center as the crew reacts to a viral interview featuring Miami restaurateur Chef Creole, who publicly expressed regret over supporting Donald Trump after changes affecting Temporary Protected Status (TPS) created staffing challenges for his business [ 48:23 ]. That conversation expands into a broader discussion about immigration policy, voter expectations, and political consequences, particularly within immigrant communities [50:28 ]. The episode then shifts to sports and culture after former NBA players Enes Kanter and Royce White announce plans to declare for the WNBA, framing the move as a challenge to existing gender eligibility policies [ 58:46 ]. The hosts debate the broader implications for women's sports, gender identity, fairness, and public discourse [ 01:04:21], while also discussing reactions surrounding Sophie Cunningham [ 01:08:11 ] and examining whether most fans are genuinely invested in the debate or simply engaging with another viral controversy [ 01:11:49 ][ 01:13:10 ]. Closing out the episode, Mandii, A-King and Jah turn their attention to Kenny Smith's third marriage, discussing age gaps, prenuptial agreements, and the financial realities of modern marriage [ 01:14:11 ][ 01:15:31][ 01:17:48 ]. The conversation then shifts to the tragic case of a 24-year-old woman accused of scamming professional athletes who was later found dead in a New Jersey swimming pool, prompting reflections on internet fame, crime, and personal accountability [ 01:18:38 ]. The episode concludes with reactions to A$AP Rocky publicly distancing himself from a graphic designer after a private direct message was shared online, leading to a broader conversation about privacy, clout chasing, professional boundaries, and trust in the social media era [ 01:20:57 ][01:27:14 ]. Wrapping with final thoughts and shoutouts [ 01:35:18 ], the crew delivers another thought-provoking episode blending humor, politics, sports, internet culture, and the complex conversations shaping today's headlines. In this episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson analyze the rise of democratic socialism within Democratic politics, debate anti-Israel activism on the left, examine comments from AOC and other progressive figures, and discuss the growing controversy over gender eligibility rules in women’s sports and the WNBA. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and their growing influence inside the Democratic Party take center stage in this episode, alongside a heated debate over gender eligibility in women’s sports. Senator Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson examine comments from a DSA leader on taxation, socialism, Israel, and the future direction of the political left. They discuss a recent interview with a DSA co-chair, focusing on the organization’s views on wealth, capitalism, and Israel. Cruz argues that the movement’s policies reflect a broader ideological shift within progressive politics and raises concerns about the DSA’s stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The conversation then turns to Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, progressive media figures, and the struggle for influence among younger voters inside the modern Democratic coalition. Cruz and Ferguson debate whether increasingly radical political rhetoric is becoming mainstream within parts of the left. The second half of the episode focuses on women’s sports and a new controversy involving former NBA players publicly declaring interest in WNBA eligibility under current gender identity policies. The hosts discuss fairness in competition, reactions from sports leaders, comments from President Donald Trump, and the broader national debate surrounding transgender participation in athletics. Topics Covered: Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and its policy agenda Taxation, socialism, and critiques of capitalism Israel, Hamas, and debate over a one-state solution Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and progressive political coalitions WNBA eligibility rules and transgender athlete controversies Clay Travis, Enes Freedom, and fairness in women’s sports The Bottom Line: Senator Cruz argues that the DSA represents a growing ideological force within the Democratic Party and contends that its positions on capitalism and Israel are increasingly influential. He and Ferguson also argue that women’s sports organizations will face mounting pressure to clarify eligibility standards as the transgender athlete debate continues. Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they focus on AOC trying to giggle away the left's repressive and woke lurch since 2020, Abdul El-Sayed refusing to disavow Hasan Piker and dismissing Piker's comment that the U.S. deserved 9/11, Wisconsin Democrats frantically trying to defeat Francesca Hong in tomorrow's primary, and the passing of Dukes of Hazzard actor-turned-Georgia Rep Ben Jones.First, they fume as New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes laughs and tries to chalk up the left's destructive demonization of police, white people, and anyone who didn't obey every jot and tittle of the Covid rules as some some crazy "Woke 1" phase the party went through. Jim says you can be sure the next level of wokeness will be far worse.Next, they shake their heads as El-Sayed refuses to distance himself from Hasan Piker and labels Piker's contention that we deserved 9/11 as dumb or out of context. Jim and Greg also consider how much this issue will hurt Piker and why these comments are not the same as most other issues. Then, they thoroughly enjoy the desperate attempt by Wisconsin Democrats to do whatever they can to stop Francesca Hong from being the party's nominee for governor. Jim suspects it won't work because the Dem electorate is more radical than even a few years ago. Greg says this is a problem of the Dems' own creation. Finally, they note the passing of former Georgia Rep. Ben Jones, who is best known as Cooter Davenport on The Dukes of Hazzard. I have to hand it to the WNBA. Their insanity over that one letter has created a firestorm. Former NBA and NFL players are apparently looking at the WNBA and saying, "You know what? I think I've found my next career." And I love it. Hey Leftists, this is what happens when you spend years telling everybody that biological sex is a social construct. It's their own fault. They could have thrown in with the fellas, and tried to get their WOMEN to make the MEN's league, but no. They wanted SEPARATE BUT EQUAL. So, they added the W. The NBA and WNBA are separated by exactly one letter. W. That's it. One little W. Which raises a rather important question: What the hell does the W stand for? I assume it stands for Women. But apparently that's controversial. So maybe it's W for Whatever. Maybe it's W for Whoever. Or perhaps, with former NBA players now eyeing the league, W stands for: "We Have A Problem." Because imagine being a former NBA player. You've spent your career playing against grown men. You have competed against LeBron James. You've been dunked on by people whose necks look like fire hydrants. You've spent 82 games getting your ribs rearranged by other professional men. Then you retire. And someone says: "Have you considered the WNBA?" That is not a career move. That's a plot twist. Maybe this is the NBA's new retirement plan. You don't retire. You just add a W. Van Jones commented on them, and explain how Democrats got caught screwing the pooch. [X] SB – Van Jones. Dems are Blockbuster and DSA is Netflix. The split was bound to happen, because Democrats raised Menendez brother siblings and now they can't control them. But if you think the DSA is OUR problem, think again. America doesn't have a DSA problem, as the majority of America is MAGA is, and I quote the two MAGA rednecks who beat up Jussie Smollett—this is MAGA country. We are fixing the Republicans and the smart ones are jumping on the MAGA train, which is the Trump Train expanded. We ARE the big tent party. You know how I know. Because Democrats keep saying they are. Democrats never mention our LGBT community. Do you have any idea how many gays are not marching in parades showing their genitals, but instead are hardworking people who don't lead with their sexual preference. Lots. And I guarantee you that most Americans have seen enough. And it's not only in the state where they get their vision. Right now Spain is a showpiece of Leftism. Overrun with ingrates, and their Leftist leader has directly butted heads with Trump. As you consider our position as MAGA, just look at what the Left won't talk about. No fake news network ran the Fauci hearings. Remember when none of the networks ran Trump's presser on China and election theft? Still, what dominated the news? BOTH those topics. We don't need them. And the truth is finally penetrating. I've been using Jason Arday as my muse and the story keeps getting richer. We learn now that Jason went after people who rightfully looked into his credentials. Kevin Jackson has been called, the "white-collar" Joe Rogan. Given their similar backgrounds in TV, comedy, and martial arts, it's easy to see why people enjoy Kevin's show so much. Join Jim and Greg for the Thursday 3 Martini Lunch as they explore how Democrats nominating far-left candidates might help Republicans in November, deepening concerns about how low the U.S. missile arsenal is, one House Republican abandoning his re-election bid amid scandal while another digs in, and a Senate committee holding Dr. Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress.First, they react to Democrats nominating far-left and even socialist candidates in states and congressional districts that are far more moderate or even lean to the right. They also get a kick out of some Dems trying to distance themselves from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) after winning their primaries.Next, they discuss a Washington Post report about the ongoing concerns about U.S. stockpiles of missile interceptors and other munitions, as well as reports concerning how President Trump and Sec. Pete Hegseth are dealing with this issue. The White House denies Post reports that heated conversations took place over this issue last weekend at Camp David. Then, they're glad to see North Carolina GOP Rep. Chuck Edwards give up his re-election bid after the House Ethics Committee recommended he be censured for his conduct towards young female staffers. Meanwhile, Ohio Rep. Max Miller refuses to withdraw despite the abuse allegations against him, and he is now past the deadline to withdraw from the ballot. Finally, Sen. Rand Paul and the Senate Governmental Affairs and Oversight Committee voted Thursday to hold Dr. Fauci in contempt of Congress for refusing to answer questions last week. Jim says he understands why this is happening but doubts much will ultimately come from it in the courts. Greg wonders the same but still thinks it's the right move. Please visit our great sponsors:QuoMoney is on the line. Always say hello with QUO. In a nail-biter Democratic senate primary in Michigan, progressive insurgent Abdul El-Sayed defeated establishment candidate Representative Haley Stevens, a four-term centrist congresswoman, in what could signal a further sign of change to the party's direction. While there were four other state primaries on Tuesday night, the Michigan senate race has been seen as pivotal to the Democrats' bid to reclaim control of the chamber this November. The question now, can El-Sayed galvanize enough voters to win over Republican Mike Rogers? USA TODAY Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page joins The Excerpt to share her analysis of the race.Let us know what you think of this episode by sending an email to podcasts@usatoday.com. "Let's F***ing Go." Dem Drops Out in South Dakota: Brian Bengs vs Mike Rounds Is On. Two Independent Vets Win in Washington While Their County Burns. Michigan is not Manhattan. That's the through-line of this one. The Democratic primary in Michigan handed the U.S. Senate nomination to Abdul El-Sayed, a far-left progressive in a state where roughly 17% of voters are independent and Mike Rogers is waiting on the Republican side. Paul Rieckhoff calls it what it is: another gift from a rigged two-party primary system to the MAGA machine, and one more reason the Democrats will not save you. The Bernie-vs-Schumer civil war is nominating candidates who can't galvanize independents or win general elections — and it's happening on the biggest stages in the country. But this episode is also a scoreboard for the independent veteran movement. In South Dakota, Democrat Julian Bedouin dropped out, clearing a one-on-one between IVA-endorsed independent veteran Brian Bengs and Republican Mike Rounds. In Idaho, Todd Achilles is head-to-head with 83-year-old Jim Risch. In Montana, spoiler candidate Alani Bankhead is being called on to step aside for Green Beret and Rhodes Scholar Seth Bodnar. And in Washington's top-two nonpartisan primary — the fairest system in the country — four independent vets ran while the wildfires burned, and at least two are moving on to November. Progressive Democrat Abdul el-Sayed says his win in yesterday's Michigan Senate primary shook the world. Now his party is mapping the aftershocks. The first challenge is to unite behind el-Sayed following the incredibly heated and divisive race against moderate Haley Stevens. His GOP opponent, former representative Mike Rogers, wasted no time launching an attack, claiming el-Sayed believes "America deserved 9/11." Learn more about your ad choices. One ruptured bicep, two heartbreaking losses, and a week of political madness leave Ravi reflecting on health, grief, and what it really means to help people. He channels that grief into a new community project, "The Book of Ordinary Lives,” honoring everyday people with the kind of thoughtful obituaries usually reserved for the famous. Then he digs into the “Democratic establishment” that calls itself insurgent while promoting candidates wildly out of step with working-class voters—and dodging accountability when they fail. Republicans don't get a pass either, especially when their leaders preach about protecting women and children while standing by members facing terrible allegations of abuse. ––––––––––– Find show notes - https://thelostdebate.substack.com/ Find Lost Debate ◾Subscribe to our YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@LostDebate ◾Get email updates - https://thelostdebate.substack.com/ ◾Follow us - @thebranchmedia Find Ravi Gupta ◾Pre-Order Ravi's new book, The Invisible List - https://readinvisiblelist.com/ ◾Join the Invisible Posse - https://readinvisiblelist.com/posse ◾Read Ravi's Substack - https://realravigupta.substack.com ◾Follow Ravi- https://www.instagram.com/ravimgupta/

Michigan Democrats picked Abdul El-Sayed to be their candidate for the U.S. Senate race. He will face Republican Mike Rogers. Rogers says El-Sayed is “way too extreme for Michigan. I mean, Abdul, he has his own special sauce of crazy."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
David Waldman and Greg Dworkin team up to fight the forces of injustice, chaos, and general stupidity. Has Jeanine Pirro been sent to the bottom of the Donald K. Trump Kafka Khaki reflecting pool yet? Jeanine might have bought herself some time by literally carting over evidence to force the old man to look at before it's shipped to some undisclosed bathroom. Democratic voters are tired of focus-group establishment Dems, and moderate Dems are already tired of crazy progressives. And yet, temporarily arrayed, they could be quite powerful heading into the midterms. Of course, they are blessed with Trump. His usefulness as an idiot is waning with even the Gops, and you don't need to tell independents twice to stampede in a new direction. In Michigan, Abdul El-Sayed outperformed his name, and the establishment, to win his primary. Trump's candidate lost to a guy that stopped campaigning weeks ago. Missouri usually isn't too big on Democrats, but they still prefer democracy. The Kansas Supreme Court would look nice in DC. Texas also embraces voting and rejects phony voter fraud voting suppression. Not that election denialists are going anywhere soon. In fact, some are completely refusing to leave. Republicans are beginning to think that God is rigged against them. Climate has changed to the degree that the Danube River has receded back to the time when wooly mammoths and Nazi soldiers roamed the earth, leaving live ordnance in their wake. Donald was sad to hear kindred soul Max Miller must bear such vicious accusations, but such is the burden great men carry.

You've probably heard a lot about the Democratic Socialists and progressives running for office nationwide – and maybe even more about how establishment Democrats are terrified of them. A lot of that concern is because they think they'll lose to their Republican counterparts. But many Republican candidates running for statewide office this term are in a league of their own… and not in a good way. So are establishment Democrats right? Will progressive candidates push voters to Republicans – even if they're the least qualified people around? To find out, we talked to Dan Pfeiffer. He's the co-host of Pod Save America and the author of the Message Box newsletter on Substack. And in headlines, Iran and President Trump disagree over whether negotiations are back on, two Republican senators clear the way for acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's confirmation, and the Michigan Department of Health announces the first confirmed deaths related to the ongoing cyclospora outbreak.Show Notes: Check out Message Box – www.messageboxnews.com Check out Pod Save America – youtube.com/@podsaveamerica Call Congress – 202-224-3121 Subscribe to the What A Day Newsletter – https://tinyurl.com/y4y2e9jy What A Day – YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@whatadaypodcast Follow us on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/crookedmedia/ For a transcript of this episode, please email transcripts@crooked.com

Both the left and center-left are acting like the other faction within the party is the enemy—and not Donald Trump. Democrats need to keep their eye on the ball: Trump and the corruption, lying, and incompetence across his administration. In the past couple of days, the massive dishonesty has included Doug Burgum's doubling down on the Reflecting Pool lies and Todd Blanche's sham document on the IRS and the J6 weaponization fund. And why is Schumer signing off on a deal with Republicans to keep the government open?
