In this episode of ‘The Voices of War', Maz sits down with two former Australian special operations officers whose careers unfolded at the sharp end of Australia's longest war in Afghanistan. Vando served 24 years in the Australian Army, including 16 in special operations with the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). Across 10 deployments to Iraq, East Timor, the Solomon Islands, North Africa and three tours of Afghanistan, he held command at troop, squadron and senior staff levels, carrying responsibility across tactical and operational decision-making within the Special Operations Task Group (SOTG). Brett came into special operations through law and intelligence. He first served as the principal intelligence officer (S2) at 1 Commando Regiment and later as the S2 for SASR, before transferring to the Legal Corps. In that role, he advised special operations forces on the laws of armed conflict, rules of engagement, and some of the most complex legal and ethical challenges of the Afghanistan war. His five deployments included Kosovo, three tours of East Timor and an extended tour of Afghanistan. Together, they reflect on their involvement in the award-winning documentary ‘Bravery and Betrayal', unpacking how sustained operational tempo, political decision-making, legal constraints, and leadership silence shaped the war in Afghanistan and what those choices cost individuals, families, veterans, and institutions. El mensaje llega a 48 horas de que se publiquen las memorias de Juan Carlos en nuestro país.

El PP utiliza la imagen de Ábalos entrando en la cárcel para movilizarse contra el Gobierno. No hablan de moción de censura -para la que no tienen apoyos suficientes- pero apelan a los socios a que dejen caer la legislatura. Núñez Feijóo sugiere que Sánchez acabará en prisión por ser, según él, el líder de la corrupción de su partido. Empieza diciembre, un mes en el que solo habrá un pleno en el Congreso y en el que se inicia el nuevo ciclo electoral que irá desde Extremadura a Andalucía. Además, Salomé Pradas, la consellera de Interior y Emergencias durante la DANA, cuenta en una entrevista en La Sexta que recibió una orden de no molestar a Mazón esa tarde y asegura que no todavía le cuesta asimilar que el expresident no le cogiese el teléfono por llevarlo en la mochila. 

La consellera de Emergencias de la Generalitat Valenciana que estaba la frente de la gestión de la DANA, Salomé Pradas, acusa a Mazón de mentir sobre lo que hizo el día de la tragedia que dejó 229 muertos. En una entrevista en La Sexta, cuenta que cuando se acercaba el aniversario de la DANA llamó al expresident para decirle que contase la verdad, entre otras cosas, que ella le había informado de todo durante la tarde de la riada. Además, asegura que recibió una orden de no molestar a Mazón y que ella considera que debió estar en el CECOPI. Además, el Partido Popular movilizó a unas 40.000 personas, según la Delegación del Gobierno, en una manifestación en la que el líder popular, Núñez Feijóo, volvió a pedir elecciones y apeló directamente a los socios para hacer caer al Gobierno. Y en Jaén, es el segundo día de luto por la muerte de dos adolescentes, quienes -según compañeros del colegio- sufrieron acoso recientemente. 

Con Berna González Harbour, Antón Losada e Ignasi Guardans. Feijóo sugiere que Sánchez acabará en prisión y pide a los socios que hagan caer al Gobierno durante la concentración convocada a 500 metros de Ferraz. El PP exige elecciones pero evita hablar de moción de censura. El Ejecutivo les equipara a Vox y les acusa de no tener proyecto político y alimentar el odio contra Pedro Sánchez.
