Aznar no, nunca guarda duelo.

Aznar prefiere a María José Catalá. ¡El Mediterráneo hierve! ¿Cómo elegir un buen melón? Bueno, suena Unai Sordo.

Taču tieši tas man šķita interesanti un uzrunājoši. Man liekas, tas varētu būt pavisam cits skatījums, citas sajūtas, kā viņi to uztver. Domāju, ka būs ļoti interesanti. Rūta Paula: Paredzu, ka klausītāju interese ir liela! Regīna Deičmane: Man jau nākas domāt, kur lai visus ietilpina (smejas)!
We put someone on the moon in 1969. We didn't put wheels on suitcases until 1972. The problem was: Nobody had stopped to notice the problem existed in the first place. That gap - between the problems people will tell you about, the ones they'll only admit after a drink, and the ones they don't even know they have - is exactly where Maz Farrelly operates. In this bonus conversation with the executive producer behind Big Brother, The X Factor, and Celebrity Apprentice, we get into the practical mechanics of walking into a meeting and already having the room on your side before you've said a single word. If you have a pitch coming up - for an idea, a budget, or yourself - this episode has something useful in it for you. Maz and I discuss: The "warming up the room" technique Maz uses at the start of every pitch meeting, and why it works How she used reverse psychology to make network executives desperate for the idea she told them she wasn't going to pitch Why the smartest operators don't sell — they make themselves buyable The three layers of problems your clients have, and why cracking the third layer is where the real opportunity lives The suitcase story: why solving problems people don't know they have is the most valuable thing you can do in any industry Why Maz brought too much cake to a Microsoft meeting, and how it made her go viral inside the building without spending a cent on advertising What "sticky information" is, and why it determines whether anything you said in a meeting actually matters Key quotes "The smart money doesn't sell. The smart money is bought." "Hope is not a strategy." And if you haven't listened to the main episode with Maz yet, start there. It's all about how to make yourself impossible to ignore. Most professionals are terrible at talking about themselves. Not because they lack substance, but because no one ever taught them that being interesting is a skill, and that skill can be learned. Maz Farrelly has spent decades on the other side of that problem. As the executive producer behind Big Brother, The X Factor, and Celebrity Apprentice, she has auditioned over 20,000 people, had her content watched more than eight billion times, and once broke Twitter deliberately. In this episode, I sit down with Maz to unpack what the TV industry understands about attention that most professionals never learn, and how to bring that same thinking into the way you pitch yourself and show up in any room. Maz and I discuss: Why you have about 10 seconds to earn someone's attention, and what TV producers do with that window that most professionals don't The one word missing from almost every professional pitch ("so that") Why adapting your introduction for every room you walk into isn't being fake — it's understanding your audience How to share your credentials and achievements without sounding like you're bragging The case Maz makes against performed humility on LinkedIn, and better alternatives that actually build trust Why Maz banned email entirely on Dancing with the Stars UK, replaced it with two 10-minute standing meetings a day, and had only four phone calls across 100 shows What Gogglebox taught Maz about the power of doing the exact opposite of what everyone else in your industry is doing Key quotes "If you can help people, you need to show off. Because I need to be able to buy you, and I can't buy you if I don't know you exist." "The first line's job is to make me read the second. It's so obvious, and hardly anyone does it." Maz Jobrani is an Iranian-American actor and comedian, whose work spans from roles in major movies to global comedy tours to NPR's “Wait Wait…Don't Tell Me.” In this episode, Maz speaks to how comedy changes during times of international conflict, as it did after 9/11 when Maz headlined the “Axis of Evil” comedy tour—or now, with the United States at war with Iran. Born in Tehran, Maz's family emigrated to northern California when he was six. Maz was originally caught by the acting bug in high school with the encouragement of various teachers, but brushed these dreams aside in pursuit of political science. First, a BA at UC Berkeley and then the start of a PhD at UCLA. However, the pull of the spotlight was just too strong. Maz left to pursue a career in comedy, which began at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood and has since taken him (literally) around the world. Maz references acting teachers Shirley Bonbright and Michelle Swanson, as well as Mitzi Shore of The Comedy Store, as profound influences on his career in the arts.

All hell broke loose. Brand new Bonerline. Do kids not party anymore? Mackenzie Shirilla has now filed an appeal. Good luck with that. We call Tom Mazawey during his supposed dinner time with friends. Maz goes deep about his New York Knicks. His memory is a little fuzzy. Maz is excited for the Michael Jackson documentary about to come out on Netflix...Even though he loves him. Tom eulogizes Claude Lemieux. Tom missed Gibby's birthday. See ya, Tommy! Women gone wild: Georgia judge Eleanor Ross got busted for boning a police commander in her chambers. Women gone wild Part II: Prison warden busted for banging an inmate. Paulina Porizkova is whining and lying in the news again. Breaking Meghan Markle news: She has a new product. Spencer Pratt is in the news every day. He was yelling at people on the street in LA. With the introduction of Original Trilogy characters to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland, it brings up the question as to whether Disney recognizes that the land has grown stale over the past seven years. Rick and Maz discuss whether that is the case in this week's episode of the podcast.
Mea Culpa welcomes back Maz Jobrani. The actor and comedian who starred on the Axis of Evil Middle East Comedy Tour, a groundbreaking tour of the US and Middle Eastern countries, where it sold out 27 shows in Dubai, Beirut, Cairo, Kuwait and Amman. The Axis of Evil Comedy Central Special premiered in 2007 as, arguably, the first show on American TV with an all-Middle Eastern/American cast. He is also the author of the best-selling memoir, “I'm Not a Terrorist But I Play One on TV.” In addition, Maz is a frequent host of NPR's “Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me.” And a popular TED speaker. His latest comedy special, “The Birds and the Bees” was filmed at Hollywood's legendary Comedy Store and is available for download on YouTube. Leading up to the election and its aftermath, Jobrani's Twitter feed delivered much-needed laughs during an especially tense time for me as we awaited this nation's fate. Now as we find ourselves in the De Ja Vu of yet another Donald Trump indictment, it's time to bring him back and hear his view on what's in store for all of us.

Matthew Perry Friends collection to be auctioned, Meghan Markle busted lying, Donald Trump loves Spencer Pratt, Mackenzie "The Crash" Shirilla's bratty jail calls, Maz eventually joins us, Jim's Picks: Top 10 2020 songs, and Jessica Dupnack joins us with more info on her landlord sex story. Trudi is going to be at the St Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade this weekend. FOX 2;s Jessica Dupnack found herself in the middle of some good ol Westland hijinks. A landlord was busted 'making love' in his tenants' house. We can't get enough of The Crash on Netflix. Drew has been binge listening to her jail calls. Brand new Bonerline. More stories about not taking dumps at school. Some French dude drugged women so they would have to pee in front of him. Matthew Perry's estate is selling all of his crap...And his blown out hot tub. Ray Romano is rich as hell for making a stupid TV show. A 75-Year-Old woman died at Tim Horton's. And it wasn't from the food or coffee. Sami Sheen was in the news for wearing a bikini. Guess who's hosting the AMA's this year. Wait...The AMA's are still on? We call Tom, who's at the Detroit Tigers game. He doesn't answer. Okay, bye. Donald Trump almost endorsed Spencer Pratt today. Spencer just cares about the moms. Taxes suck. Maz calls back. It's loud as hell at Comerica Park. Tom has a hot take on the Detroit Pistons. Tom took a spill in his front yard today, his elbow hurts again, and he's going to man up and work tomorrow. Maz waxes poetic on the 1973 Knicks. Okay, bye. More Meghan Markle news...Meghan is so tone deaf when it comes to her public appearances. And her fake letter from British Airways EXPOSED. Jim's Picks: Top 10 Songs Released In The 2020s. The Met Gala lacks representation, The Cult of NatureBoy on Hulu, Shannon Elizabeth justifies OnlyFans, Blake Lively fails, bratty Blue Ivy, Stefon Diggs Not Guilty, Andy Kaufman, and the personal life of Jerry Seinfeld. Met Gala: Drew didn't see many people that looked like him at the event. Blake Lively SNAPPED at helpers. Timothée Chalamet skipped the event for the New York Knicks game. Blue Ivy was a total brat. Blake Lively is falling fast. Her Betty Booze alcohol is a joke. Justin Baldoni is soft… but he's the winner in the battle. Popcorned Planet has the story covered. Andy Kaufman was a legendary wrestler. We check out his musical number on The Midnight Special. Drew recommends the Thank You Very Much documentary. John Mellencamp has great stage banter and a giant head. Franki Valli's son is a menace. Drew spent 45 minutes without a cell phone. It was a stressful day. The Cult of NatureBoy is the latest wild doc on Hulu. The Devil Wears Prada 2 made a lot of money at the box office, but not as much as Michael. Drew is yearning for comedies, dramas and Hugh Grant rom-coms. Geese is totally an industry plant. Is Greta Van Fleet finished? They posted cryptic social media posts. Stefon Diggs is not guilty of strangling his chef… who he was also banging. McDonald's is under attack! Seattle has an interesting mayor. We go on a Jerry Seinfeld deep dive thanks to the work of Wassup with Lordbuckly?. Shannon Elizabeth now has complete agency over her body… but very little agency over her money. Woodward Sports has been sold and is moving to Royal Oak. Maz's commute is not affected. Merch is for sale! Buy it. Or don't. But do. If you'd like to help support the show… consider subscribing to our YouTube Channel, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (Drew Lane, Marc Fellhauer, Trudi Daniels, Jim Bentley, BranDon, and Roberto).

Timothée Chalamet in trouble again, King Charles shows Harry how to act, Spencer Pratt 4 Mayor, David Cross v. Bill Maher, Jada Pinkett & Will Smith v. his ex-friend, Blake Lively v. Justin Baldoni heats up, Maz loves Michael Jackson, and Jim's Picks: Top 10 Double Albums. 10 years here we come! Drew is passively demanding a party. Spencer Pratt is in the news again. He got a pretty big donor on his side. David Cross is in hot water with Bill Maher. And now Bill Maher is in hot water with flaming liberals. Mike Vrabel is really doing the work on his marriage. I'm sure everything is back to normal. Shannon Elizabeth is raking in the dough on OnlyFans. Or is she? Jessica Biel has HAD IT with Justin Timberlake. Timothee Chalamet is angering people again. This time is even dumber. A brand new Bonerline. Which Michael Jackson song is "gayer"...Man in the Mirror OR Human Nature? David Lee Roth is taking credit for everything great about Van Halen. Tom Mazawey answered on the first ring. We interrupted his dinner but he gives us the inside scoop on the Detroit Pistons crapping the bed. Finding the Detroit Tigers game on TV is maddening. Tom loves the new movie Michael...even though he hasn't seen it yet. See ya, Tommy! Brother Bilaal is spouting off about Will & Jada Smith. But the mainstream media wants nothing to do with the story. Why? Blake Lively's legal team is putting in extra work. But things aren't looking good for Blake. Details of D4vd are coming out and it's grim as hell. King Charles has been a great guest to the United States. All class...Too bad his child is a bum. And his child's wife is a moron. Harry gets busted doing some gross stuff on Bondi Beach. Jim's Picks: Top 10 Double Albums. Merch is for sale! Buy it. Or don't. But do.
