On today's episode I continue my two-part series on NBA PA Announcers. Today I let you listen to my favorites beginning with the amazing Dan Roberts of the Utah Jazz. I have been blessed to announce NBA games for 32 years, but there will never be a better atmosphere then when Michael Jordan played at the old Chicago stadium. It was chilling listening to Ray Clay introduce the Bulls. I conclude the podcast by letting you listen to the last game ever played at Arco Arena and the intros from one of the best in the business, Scott Moak! Learn more about your ad choices. Scott Moak is living out his childhood dream. As a kid, he sat in Section 213 Row E and rooted on his hometown Sacramento Kings. The Sacramento native became the Public Address Announcer for the same franchise in 2002. How did he get there? Passion, a plan, and lots of practice. And now in his 19th season, it is easy to see that the passion hasn't left the building. In fact, he just gets better. In today's episode of Experience the Buzz, Host Steve Buzzard spends time with Moak talking about how this childhood dream came to fruition. "I can't think of a better story to have where someone who is from Sacramento, grew up watching the Kings, and then getting the opportunity to be the in-house voice for the Kings. So cool and couldn't have happened to a better guy" Our conversation hits THREE areas: Segment ONE
