This Sermon will look at the battle to stay rooted and to stay strong. It will unpack the spiritual armor as well as give some big picture perspective about the spiritual realm. The goal is to help see there is a spiritual reality as well as begin to see the tools God gives us to fight against the enemy's tactics.

As true Christians we face a life of spiritual warfare, and we need to arm ourselves daily to withstand the battles that come.

For a lot of war-saturated Christians, wartime imagery in the Bible gets our blood boiling... Is it for the preparation of the Gospel of peace? Or something else...?

May the God of Wonders Bless You!
You have probably seen images of the armor of God rendered as the stuff of Arthurian legends, but it seems unlikely that in Ephesians 6:10-18 Paul had this image in mind. Instead, Paul lays out his communal approach to standing strong in the faith using the imagery of Roman soldiers that can help us stand strong to this day.
Be Strong! (We need protection so we don’t break.)
We exist for the praise of the glory of God’s grace in Christ Jesus. Everything we do as a church must bring glory to God in the name of Christ Jesus. We are an intergenerational church. We strive to make a seamless journey of faith from birth to old age. We are overtly trinitarian. We are always looking for the work of the Father through the Son by the power of the Holy Spirit. We value people. We present the ideal of God’s plan while embracing the reality of life.
As we honor those who serve our country today, let us take a moment to bring attention to the battle that all believer are fighting, some are winning, some are losing and some are awol!
Your brain is to your body what you mind is to your soul. Satan wants to attack your mind so you miss out on who God created you to be. He wants to steal your identity. to we learn how do we fight back and gain ground in this spiritual battle! www.freedomla.church/sermons
Why is it that peace is so illusive? What if, peace is something you can have NOW? God has given it to you as a gift, and Satan wants to steal it away. He knows a life without peace struggles to move forward and is paralyzed with fear and anxiety. Peace is available NOW, in ANY situation. We just need to open the gift! www.freedomla.church/sermons
Are you hurricane strong?
