Send us a textHave you been so focused on national issues that you've missed your opportunity for local kingdom impact? That's exactly where Tyler McHart found himself before a profound shift in his thinking about Christian engagement in business, family, and community.Drawing from Jeremiah 29's surprising instructions to exiled Israelites in Babylon, Tyler unpacks how believers are called not to retreat from hostile territory but to establish themselves firmly within it. "Build houses, plant gardens, have children..." wasn't just advice for ancient Jews—it's a blueprint for modern Christians seeking to create lasting impact in their communities.Tyler challenges compartmentalized thinking that keeps our faith, business, and civic engagement in separate silos. Through personal stories—including a powerful family gathering where he and his sisters intentionally passed down their mother's values to ten grandchildren—he illustrates what it means to establish a godly legacy that transcends generations. This episode explores how Christians can "start their own nation" by creating wealth through entrepreneurship, establishing family values that resist cultural corruption, and strategically engaging with local government and business networks. Tyler shares his journey from national-level political focus to meaningful local involvement, including developing relationships with state representatives and community leaders.Whether you're a business owner, employee, parent, or simply a believer looking to maximize your kingdom impact, this message offers practical steps for becoming more intentionally engaged in transforming your community from the inside out. As Tyler says, "The family is going to help change the world, and I believe that starts with strong fathers, men of God that have a vision for their life."Ready to plant your garden in "Satan's city" and create an oasis of godly influence? This episode will show you how to begin building your own nation right where you're planted.Support the show
Ministers Rest | Aug 4, 2025 You are not called to build your own ministry empire, but to become a living stone in the habitation that God is constructing. Every spiritual activity you engage in must contribute to this one house, built on the foundation of apostles and prophets with Christ as the cornerstone. When you operate outside this framework, you practice lawlessness, regardless of how successful your individual efforts appear. ## Moving Beyond Individual Ministry Models The era of the "great man of God" has ended. You cannot accomplish God's purposes through isolated, one-man operations. Instead, you must learn to function within a collective framework where different ministries contribute their unique frequencies to build something greater than any individual effort. Your anointing is unique to you, but it must be fitly joined with others to create the dwelling place God seeks. ## Recognizing True Ecclesia The New Testament assembly is not a business or organization—it is a family and community. You cannot practice authentic Christianity in isolation. The "one-anothering" principle requires you to be interconnected with other believers, exhorting, strengthening, and building up one another. If you find yourself operating alone, disconnected from meaningful spiritual community, you have departed from the biblical model. ## Transforming Your Identity You are not merely a church member but a kingdom citizen and a son of God. This transformation requires you to move beyond religious activities to becoming the Word itself. As you meditate on God's Word, it functions like genetic code, breaking into your spiritual DNA and causing you to become like Him. This is not about doing more religious things but about fundamental transformation of your being. ## Learning to Hear God in Community While God continues to speak to individuals, His voice must be validated and understood within the context of spiritual community. What you perceive as personal revelation may actually be God dealing with your character development rather than giving you a ministry assignment. True hearing comes through the counsel of mature believers who can help you distinguish between God's voice and your own desires or unprocessed emotions. ## Bringing Christ Back to the Center Your assemblies and ministry activities must be designed to give Christ His rightful place at the center. When He is present, human programs and self-promotion become secondary. You must learn to recognize when you have pushed Him to the periphery and actively work to restore His centrality in everything you do. ## Building for Transformation Your goal is not to accumulate followers or build impressive organizations, but to raise up kingdom citizens who can transform society. This requires redesigning how you disciple new believers, moving from creating church members to developing sons of God who understand their governmental role in the earth. ## Understanding Spiritual Architecture Every building activity in the spirit, from Abel's offering to present-day ministry, must fit into God's master plan. There is coherency to what God is building, and you must discern how your contribution aligns with this greater design. This prevents the spiritual chaos that comes from everyone doing their own thing without regard for the overall structure. ## Embracing Plurality and Order True spiritual leadership requires you to function within plurality rather than autocracy. You must learn to hear what the Spirit is saying through the collective wisdom of mature believers, not just through your individual revelations. This requires humility and the ability to submit your ideas to the scrutiny and refinement of spiritual community. The time has come to abandon scattered, individualistic approaches to ministry and embrace the biblical model of community-based kingdom building. Your calling is not to be the star but to be a faithful stone in the house God is constructing for His own dwelling.

If I Were Dying: Carry On - Ephesians 5:15-21Tri NasonLife's brevity demands we focus on what truly matters for eternity. The core foundations of Christianity - Jesus's death and resurrection, God's sovereignty, and salvation through Christ alone - must remain central. Building God's kingdom requires training others, engaging in missions, and fostering authentic Christian community. True discipleship goes beyond Bible knowledge to active faith practice, addressing personal growth and living out beliefs in community.
