It turns out this gift is actually a Crian woman who was groomed to be the consort of the Valtean Chancellor as part of the peace treaty that is being worked out and on top of that she's a Metamorph, a rare mutation among Crian's that produces a once in a lifetime female empathic sex goddess... She ends up imprinting on Picard and then marrying the Valtean anyway, oh yeah and there are Ferengis. Worf is paralyzed as a result of a total freak accident and its not likely he will ever walk again for the whole episode! He asks Riker to kill him not even 24 hours into his injury. However, as it works out there’s an extremely experimental solution to his paralysis that could end up making this another major event in a character’s life that will not ever be spoken of again... however despite that, there are a lot of compelling things to talk about in this episode and so we give it a shot. Timothy has lost his parents in a horrific space accident, Space is a dangerous place, and to cope with it he latches on to Data and emulates his behavior and even goes so far as to become an "Android" but soon he finds himself in the same terrible situation as the USS Veco and must come face to face with his trauma to help his hero save the ship. Spock is thought to have defected and gone over to the Romulans so Picard is dispatched to investigate and bring the accomplished ambassador home to the Federation so he starts his search for Spock with Sarek, who is very ill at this point but insists that Spock has not defected. In order to retrieve the ambassador, Picard has to utilize a cloaked vessel, so he hits Gowron and then he and Data head to Romulus and when they get there, they are taken to the literal underground and finally find Spock. What will happen next, and what did we think of this prelude to the what is probably one of the most iconic episodes of Star Trek.

During a very obvious sexcapade on Risa, commander Riker gets duped into playing a highly addictive vide game and then it goes viral on the Enterprise, but no need to worry because Wesley Crusher is visiting from the academy and saves the day! Like all the great disaster scenarios, Star Trek presents the TNG episode Disaster, in which the crew find themselves with a crippled ship and a ticking bomb that threatens to destroy the ship and crew if they don't act decisively. The Federation have been trying without success over the course of 100 years to establish relations with the Children of Tamar, a truly strange civilization of people who communicate through metaphor and imagery. Captain Picard is hopeful that the crew of the Enterprise will finally make progress and decipher their strange and complex language, but things get complicated when the Tamarian Captain beams them both down to a planet where they have to hunt an invisible beast.

The Klingon civil war comes to a head as the crew of the Enterprise work hard to expose Romulan intervention thus bringing an end to this unnecessary dispute. A truly deep sci-fi episode of Star Trek the Next Generation, the Nth Degree finds our awkward but also charming hero, Reginald Barcley, (Played by Dwight Schultz) once again at the center of attention. The Next Generation's 30th Anniversary.   On September 28, 1987, a new Star Trek show premiered in the United States. The Next Generation featured a new crew and a new ship boldly going on adventures in a new century.
