ALKING JOE 216 - Disavowed - Interview with Sam Wells (Devils Due Assistant Publisher) Sam Wells, based in Chicago, started as an Intern at Devils Due Publishing and went on to be Assistant Publisher and has gone on to run the Toy shop, Toy De Jour. This is the more tightly edited audio only verion of the YouTube interview posted earlier. https://youtu.be/m2cCLmmNRA0 During his time at Devil's Due, Sam was involved in a bunch of stuff, but most prominently for us, the readers, as the writer on Special Missions Brazil (a story inspired by the original figures), and the Data Desk profiles. He also had some involvement in the Hasbro approval process, who he has previously described as "a multi headed schizophrenic beast". In this interview we have a deep dive into the Devil's Due years, running from the intern days to the end of Sam's time and Devils Due and beyond. TALKING JOE 201 - DISAVOWED - Snake Eyes Declassified 1 DEVILS DUE 2005 Snake Eyes Declassified Mark and Tim are in a shark cage as they continue their deep dive look at the Brandon Jerwa era of G.I. Joe Disavowed with Snake Eyes: Declassified issues 1 (Devils Due Sep 2005) , which came out 2 months after Bandon Jerwa's final issue 43 on the main book. We set the context and some and look at issue 1 in detail this episode - we will cover the remaining issues 2-5 next time. We refer to the Intro sequence of Apocalypse Now Links ( see clip here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-62d-9HLtY) More on this issue: https://www.yojoe.com/comics/declassified/declassified1.shtml Creative Team Story: Brandon Jerwa Pencils: Emiliano Santalucia Colors: John Rauch Letters: Steve Seeley Cover: Emiliano Santa Lucía & Jeremy Roberts
Mark and Tim continue our look at the Disavowed era with G.I. Joe with an interview with special guest Tim Seeley We never take it easy on the comics when we are doing our reviews (I like to think we keep it to objective criticism - either gushing praise or unfair scorn) but I have a genuine affection for Tim Seeley's art run on GI Joe and it was great to get to talk to him about his time working on GI Joe with Devil's Due. Tim Seeley is an American comic book creator with many credits to his name, which includes writing on books such as Grayson and Batman Eternal, as the co-creator co-creator of the Image Comics titles Hack/Slash , but most importantly as a creator synonymous with the Devils Due Era of GI Joe; most significantly Pencilling most of issue 23-43, and writing the issues of Frontline, Special Missions and the 3rd and 4th Transformers crossovers., and more besides. We talk about Starting at Devils Due & recommending Steve Kurth as artist Bullpen environment of Devils Due A memorable encounter with Larry Hama Moving from Drawing to both writing and drawing The end of his run with issue 43 & launch of Americas elite GI Joe vs Transformers Working with Robert Kirkman back in early 200s - Snake Eyes on the moon! and more besides! This episode will be available as both audio only (more tightly edited) and video (3 talking heads with some extra images to illustrate talking points). My preference would be the audio only which gets rid of al the erms etc.
A man who aware of the operation of the two thieves approaches them for the possibility of joining the gang.. What does she care about the Louvre and its art, she wants to have fun. She runs away now free in Paris to do as she pleases when she is recognized and approached by a friend of her fathers who suggests that they go places together. He wants to show her the real Paris.

Trek TV - The most ambitious Star Trek podcast on the internet!
#182 In this episode of Trek TV we discuss Star Trek: The Next Generation S04E11 - "Devil's Due". Hosted by Tracy and Vaughn. Guest starring Dustin, Derek, & Jared. Well, we were certainly due for it, but Vaughn and Tracy must have royally cheesed off the Devil with this one because Ol' Scratch done gone ahead and claimed their souls; which is to say, he spirited their audio track away straight to Hell. Thankfully, we're wise to that original flim-flam demon's tricks and our backup recording was safely hidden away from their... dumb pitchfork thing? So no need to have sympathy for us, dear listeners; reserve that for yourself, as our constant paranoia of imminent damnation means you get to enjoy all the devil-skin tight outfits, high-pitched shrieks, and absolutely staggeringly lengthy digressions of this double-wide episode of Trek TV in basically listenable quality! See ya in hell! Visit our website for fan art, news and more!
It’s one small step for 3 presenters, and one giant leap for a podcast as we move on to the Devils Due era of G.I. Joe and discuss GI Joe # 1 from Devil’s Due/ Image, released in September 2001. Mark is joined by “A Real American” Tim Finn once more, but also joined by BRAND NEW TALKING JOE CREW MEMBER G.I. Jay who will be rounding out the Trio for our ongoing coverage of the Disavowed era. The Devils Due episodes are fortnightly and will be sandwiched in-between the coverage of the present day ongoing IDW ARAH issues. As we have an extended discussion about the context of this relaunch we cover just one issue on this this episode in the future it will be one story arc per podcast. In this episode, we talk “Mother! “, Rampart the costal defender in Tim’s Real American Book blog update, we go inside Mark’s mind to the The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel, Mark launches THREE NEW JINGLES, Tim gets hot under the collar about lettering, and Mark unveils his new quiz – “Devils True or Devils Poo?”. All this and more in the latest thrilling instalment!
Who can out con a con man? We'll give you three guesses: Data, Worf or Picard. Well we don't actually know who boarded that ship and found all the dirty tricks but Picard waisted no time in using them to out con the con who con people who had been conned by the conner?
