Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder performs a series of shows in Seattle to raise awareness about a disease called EB, which primarily affects children. It's believed it's "only a matter of time" before a serious road traffic accident takes place on one of the main approach roads to a Clare village. Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat O'Gorman is calling for a flooding issue to be addressed at Cappa South in Sixmilebridge. It's claimed the road, which he describes as "one of the busiest" in the Shannon Municipal District, floods every time it rains which forces cars to drive on the wrong side of the road. Councillor O'Gorman says it's an unsustainable situation.
Proximity to Jesus does not result in salvation. Salvation is the result of believing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
Laufey's a young Icelandic/Asian jazz aficionado. Studying the music from her parents, she's kept the genre alive through self-compositions this decade. Fans are dazzled of her writing, singing, playing piano/guitar/cello! "Third time's the charm" for 3rd album A Matter of Time, topping jazz charts, and just crossed over #4 on Billboard's 200 albums chart. Brilliantly romanticizing a "timely" concept record. I share this young lady's music journey, review the tracks, and evaluate its popularity in this episode. Ein neues Album von Laufey - vorgestellt auf NDR Kultur.
The third album from Icelandic singer-songwriter Laufey, ‘A Matter of Time' represents a shift towards vulnerability and emotional expressiveness. Her two earlier albums were heavily influenced by the ‘Great American Songbook', filled with her now iconic blend of jazz, classical, and pop influences. ‘A Matter of Time' is a look inwards, Laufey's interest in seeing how she could draw out the “most flawed parts of [herself] and look at them directly in the mirror”. Estelle Clifford joined Jack Tame to give her thoughts on the album. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

FBI Deputy Director reportedly was perturbed about the DOJ's U-turn concerning the Epstein client list toward "nothing to see here." Alan Dershowitz said on the Sean Spicer Show he saw the list -- the one which helped convict Ghislaine Maxwell, who said she will talk if Congress summons her to do so. Why the big secret and the 180? With mounting pressure, will it now be a matter of time before the list is revealed or will the administration keep denying in hopes it goes down the proverbial memory hole? Ever wanted to time travel right onto the bridge of your favorite Galaxy-Class starship? Hey, us, too, but we'll have to settle for watching Max Headroom do it in “A Matter of Time” on this all-new episode of ST:TNGeez . . . NOW!The Enterprise is on its way to Penthara IV for an emergency rescue mission when Worf notices a temporal anomaly has left something behind. Picard tells Ensign Felton to flip the bitch, and before you know it, he has to take a jump to the left (or is it a step to the right) to allow Berlinghoff Rasmussen to beam aboard. Our new friend claims to be a historian from the 26th century here to hang out and ask some questions and generally be a pain in the ass. Picard seems amused enough at the start, but Rasmussen quickly gets on everyone's nerves. He keeps poking around and dropping cryptic hints while the crew is trying to save a planet from the after effects of an asteroid's impact. Rasmussen claims he's on board to witness history, but he just might have an ulterior motive. Will Geordi and Data be able to cobble together a solution that will save Penthara IV? Will Worf get to backhand Rasmussen? Will our visiting time traveller get to make some time with our beloved Bev? Find out in this exciting new episode of ST:TNGeez, Not Another Star Trek Podcast.Even more available at: https://tngeez.com
