A year and a half ago, North Korea made waves when it announced that it was abandoning the goal of inter-Korean reunification. Now, South Koreans are getting ready to head to the ballot box to elect a new president, with their pick set to shape Seoul's policy toward a neighbor that now views the South as a “hostile, enemy state.” On this week's episode, Dr. Tomasz Wierzbowski and Dr. J.R. Kim join the podcast to debate whether Seoul should formally abandon the national goal of unification with North Korea. They discuss the evolving generational and political attitudes toward unification, whether the Ministry of Unification should be overhauled or scrapped and the ethics of maintaining peaceful coexistence with an authoritarian neighbor. Dr. Tomasz Wierzbowski is an adjunct professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and the Korea Representative of EURAXESS, a European Commission initiative supporting researcher mobility. Dr. J.R. Kim retired as director-general at South Korea's Ministry of Unification and is still active as the president of the Korean Council for Peace and Cooperation. Episode hosted by Mark Divine: Today, Commander Divine speaks with Tony Nader, MD, PhD, global expert in the science of consciousness and human development and head of the Transcendental Meditation organizations globally. In the episode, Tony shares the science of consciousness and the relationship between mind and body, consciousness and physiology, and the possibility to develop full human potential. Key Takeaways: Transcendental Meditation as an inner and outer practice. The reality is many Westerners think of meditation as an internal-only practice and therefore avoid it at all costs. Transcendental Meditation (TM), which Dr. Nader champions in the West, is instead both an internal and external practice, used to create more harmony in our real world lives. The survey says… meditate! Tony shares how TM has created research-backed results in both physical and mental realms. For instance, TM practitioners experience increased mental clarity, peace, and happiness, as well as less physiological stress, better healing and ability to concentrate - even (get this) better behavior! Ultimate reality and… rock consciousness? Tony details how TM allows practitioners to experience ultimate reality, which is the experience of all consciousness, everything, as one. Oh, and that includes rocks, which also hold consciousness, albeit of lower values than us humans. Less than 1% to heal the world. Studies have shown, including an experiment done in Washington, D.C., that when less than 1% of a population come together and practice Transcendental Meditation, there are cosmic shifts in the overall population behaviorally and mentally. Less car crashes, less violence, crime, and so on. TM is quite literally changing the world, by bringing us into harmony with the all-encompassing oneness of everything. We follow the convulsions of Italian society -- foreign invasion, popular revolution, peasant revolt, liberal reform, Romantic pageantry, diplomatic dirty dealings, and patriotic war -- through which the residents of a fragmented, poor, and backwards section of Europe overthrew the puppet regimes of foreign rulers and challenged the internal power of the Church, to seize control of their own destiny and create a new nation-state that would take its place among the major powers of the world. Did you REALLY think we were done with Sam Witwer? When our last episode aired, Sam reached out to say he wanted to respond to some of what my producer Jeph and I said after the interview. We said, why not come back and be on the show again? I'm so glad he said yes! This extra conversation clarified a lot for me about the technology behind his new Star Trek Short 765874 Unification. Plus, the world just found out about Maul: The Shadow Lord, in which Sam is reprising his role as Darth Maul in a new animated series! Jeph and I press him as hard as we can for any details about the show. I know I can't wait to watch— who knows maybe Bo Katan will make an appearance on the show in the future. I'm always glad anytime I get to talk to Sam and I hope you enjoy this extended conversation! In 1861, the kingdom of Italy was proclaimed, unifying the various Italian states under one national banner. But what did it mean to be 'Italian' in the mid-19th century? How did the pope react to the concept of a united Italy? And why did so many British women fall in love with Garibaldi? In conversation with Spencer Mizen, historian David Laven answers listener questions on the campaign to unify Italy: the Risorgimento. In part three of his series on the unifications of Germany and Italy, Dan talks about the turbulent 1850s and early 60s. In Germany, this is a time of mass industrialization. With the regional economy growing at a record pace, Prussia and Austria engage in saber-rattling diplomacy over the future of the German Confederation. Meanwhile, the new King of Piedmont-Sardinia, Victor Emmanuel II, aims to do what his father could not: conquer all of Italy. Taking advantage of Austrian weakness – and a burgeoning alliance with France – he and three other men will engineer a revolution that unites the Apennine Peninsula for the first time since the Roman Empire. Happy Tuesday! If you are a true Star Trek fan like I am, then this week's episode is for you. I am talking with my friends Sam Witwer and David Collins about their beautiful and controversial new Star Trek film, 765874 Unification. If you love Star Trek and haven't heard about this project, go check it out before you listen to this week's episode! Using incredible cutting-edge technology, the film features Spock and Captain Kirk (yes, the originals!) only Kirk is played by Sam. Don't believe me? Watch the film, it will blow your mind. I've known Sam going back to when he played Crashdown on Battlestar Galactica. He has also done voice work for Star Wars: Unleashed and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. David Collins is a prolific sound designer, including for all things Star Wars, from The Mandalorian to Skeleton Crew. I had such a blast nerding out with these guys and I think you will too! Stick around for the hindsight, where my producer Jeph talk about the episode and get into the ethics of using AI to enhance an actor's performance. It's a great conversation! Have you ever wanted to watch Mr. Spock go to meeting after meeting after meeting? Then do we have an episode for you! It's “Unification, Part II” and it's an all-new episode of ST:TNGeez, Not . . . NOW!Last time, we waited a whole episode to catch a glimpse of Mr. Spock on Romulus. This time we get a whole episode full of him. Here's Spock in a cave, talking. Here's Spock in a restaurant, talking. Here's Spock in some guy's office, talking. And all the while, Picard and Data are there, sometimes dressed as Romulans, and sometimes not, talking to Spock. So what's all the talk about? Why reuniting the Vulcans and the Romulans into one big, happy, pointy eared family. It seems like there's a movement on Romulus to make it happen with Senator Pardek promising to connect Spock to all the right people, like a group of eager citizens and a smarmy Proconsul. Sounds good, doesn't it? I mean, it's not like the Romulans would be plotting anything underhanded, right? Right? In the meantime, Riker and the rest of the cast are trying to figure out who stole a Vulcan ship from a junkyard. Wait, did we say “Vulcan ship”? A Vulcan ship goes missing while Spock, Picard, and Data are on Romulus talking about reunification? Meh. Probably just a huge coincidence. Anywho . . . Will Picard uncover the Romulan plot? Will Data find a new friend in this old ass Vulcan? Will Spock ever shut the fuck up? Jolan true, Dave!Even more available at: https://tngeez.com
Humanity balances between two paths: self-destruction or self-revelation. In this rebroadcast from a popular episode from April 2024, Christine Barrington describes this critical inflection point and argues that dreams awaken us to the realm of purpose and meaning, arguing that every one of us has much to contribute to the path of humanity. Christine begins with James Braid then outlines the complicated history of science and consciousness including how they got separated in the first place, culminating with the philosophy of positivism which is the belief nothing exists that cannot be verified. She notes in contrast that most of the giants of quantum theory were also mystics including Planck (mentioning his book Where Science is Going) and also Einstein, Schrödinger, Heisenberg, Bohr, and Pauli. On the thread of consciousness, she quotes Carl Jung and his work on the tension of the opposites and synchronicity, also Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ken Wilbur, and Joe Dispenza and the birth of neurophysiology and mindfulness. Christine brings it all together talking about Thomas Campbell and his book My Big TOE and his “theory of everything,” which argues that consciousness is the basis for everything and that we are here on this planet to learn and evolve that consciousness, one person at a time. She plays a quote of Campbell’s about how dreaming gives us information about our selves in that how we react in dreams is how we are. As we learn to be more living and present, then our dreams evolve too. Christine ends by sharing information about Thomas Campbell’s organization, the Center for the Unification of Science and Consciousness CUSAC.org. BIO: Christine Barrington has worked as a psychotherapist and transformational coach and is a seeker who has invested years searching for answers underlying the challenges of human existence. We are back in Romans today on Text-Driven Tuesday. Listen in as the guys discuss the missing link between justification and sanctification. The key to living a holy life pleasing to God is not found in a list of do's and don'ts. There is a profound truth for you to believe which ignites sanctification and propels the Christian life forward. Unification with Christ is the profound truth that you must know and believe if you are going to walk in the newness of life. Conformed to Christ aims to engage the mind, affect the heart, and call people to follow Christ. Additionally, our aim is to introduce and explain passages of Scripture and difficult theological doctrines in a down-to-earth and easy-to-grasp manner. Theology and the Bible should impact your life, and our goal is that we might play a small part in seeing that happen. Inner Journey with Greg Friedman shares this episode in order to promote unification across party, dogmatic and cultual divisions to stand FOR, "WE THE PEOPLE!!!!"Research suggests that it only requires 3.5% of the population to engage in non-violent resistance for these movements to be effective. Thunberg's actions and the actions of the 1968 Olympians show how it is possible, even for individuals, to make an enormous impact and inspire change. The wave of aggressive anti-protest lawsWhile the impact and influence of protests and demonstrations continue to grow, this is being met with a wave of aggressive legislative restrictions, policies and responses designed to limit their effectiveness. For example, 93% of the protests against racial injustice in the United States in the wake of the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer were peaceful; however, the narrative around the protests was that they were largely violent demonstrations and as such triggered an excessive police response.

Delight Your Marriage | Relationship Advice, Christianity, & Sexual Intimacy
If you have ever felt disconnected with your spouse- particularly in the area of communication- this episode is especially for you. Steven and his wife, Tracy, walked through more than two decades of disconnection. Twenty-five years is a long time to feel lost in your marriage. To feel like no matter what you try, you just can't find your way back to each other. They loved God. They were raising six children together. They wanted their marriage to thrive. But somehow, they kept missing each other. Their communication felt off, and it wasn't just about words—it was about how every part of their life as a couple felt misaligned. Marriage Problems After 25 Years: Feeling Stuck and Disconnected Steven and Tracy did what many couples in their situation try to do. They sought help. They met with counselors and pastors. They heard wise advice. But for some reason, it just didn't seem to stick in their day-to-day lives. They felt like they were doing all the right things, yet their relationship still felt strained. The alignment they hoped for—spiritually, emotionally, practically—kept slipping through their fingers. It's hard to describe how wearying that becomes over time. You start to wonder if it will ever change, or if you're destined to just live alongside each other, rather than truly enjoy the beauty of partnership that marriage is meant to be. Signs of Hope: When One Spouse Begins to Change What began to open things up wasn't what Steven expected. He started to notice a softness in Tracy. A new warmth in her communication. She seemed more open, more willing to engage in conversations in a way that felt safe and inviting. And that tenderness in her sparked something in him. He realized, deep in his heart, that he wanted to experience that same kind of shift. He didn't want to keep circling the same frustrations. He wanted his heart to change too—not just so things would feel better, but because he longed to love her well. There's something so beautiful about that. Sometimes, it's the gentle transformation in one spouse that awakens the hope in the other. And that's exactly what happened for Steven. How Focusing on Personal Growth Can Transform Your Marriage What truly began to move the needle for Steven was recognizing where his focus had been all along. For many years, like so many of us, he had been looking at his wife's responses, her choices, her attitude. But when he started to reflect more deeply, he realized the bigger breakthrough would come from within himself. That shift—from focusing outward to focusing inward—was a game changer. Instead of waiting for Tracy to change, he opened his heart to the changes God wanted to do in him. He began to see how his own patterns of thought and communication were shaping their dynamic. And as he leaned into that growth, the atmosphere of their marriage began to change. Learning to Communicate Better in Marriage Steven described it as learning to dance. For years, he and Tracy were moving to different rhythms. Even when they had good intentions, they kept stepping on each other's toes. When you don't know the steps, no matter how much you love the other person, the dance feels clumsy. Missteps are frustrating and discouraging. But as Steven grew in understanding and grace, he began to move in rhythm with his wife. He learned how to lead with humility and gentleness. And as he did, Tracy responded. She became more willing to follow his lead—not because she was forced to, but because it felt safe and loving to do so. Their dance transformed from awkward steps to something fluid, connected, and beautiful. Why Humility Is Key to a Stronger Marriage What I find so deeply inspiring about Steven's journey is the way he embraced humility. He didn't cling to pride. He didn't stay stuck in frustration, demanding that his wife change first. Instead, he knelt before God—both literally and figuratively—and opened his heart to being transformed himself. That posture of surrender made space for God to work powerfully in his life and marriage. And it's a reminder for all of us: no matter how broken things feel, when we choose humility and invite God into our hearts and homes, He begins to weave a story of redemption that's more beautiful than we could have imagined. What a Healthy Marriage Looks Like After Healing Today, Steven and Tracy still face challenges, but what's different now is how they handle them. What used to take days, weeks, or even months to resolve now takes minutes—sometimes even seconds. They've learned to recognize when they're drifting out of alignment and come back quickly to unity and connection. Their marriage isn't just surviving anymore. It's thriving. There's joy. There's intimacy. There's a deep excitement about what God is continuing to do in their relationship. It's a miracle of grace, truly. There Is Hope for Your Marriage, Too Friend, if you find yourself where Steven once was—tired, discouraged, wondering if things will ever change—I want you to hear this clearly: there is a way forward. Take courage. Let hope rise in your heart. Open yourself to the possibility that the story isn't over—and that the next chapter could be more beautiful than you've imagined. She has told me many times how she likes the changes she sees in me…Other people around us, even strangers, have noticed something different about us.”

The Enterprise and crew have been coursing around the galaxy, watching dying stars, corking up ship-in-bottle catastrophes, and trying not to have sci-fi adventures -- like in the original series with Kirk and Spock and shit. They aren't going to have any of that here, either, but they will have Spock. Kinda. Maybe. After receiving news that the venerable ambassador might have defected to the Romulan home world, conveniently called Romulus, Picard and Data engage in some Romulan cosplay and take a long, long, long time to finally meet up with everyone's favorite Vulcan. In the meantime, Riker and the rest of the crew are investigating some hijinx in the Federation junkyard because they need to have something to do while Picard and Data are busy making Trek history meeting Mr. freaking Spock! Will Riker and crew discover the secret of the missing junkyard ships? Will Data discover he really likes shoulder pads? Will Picard get any sleep? Find out in this exciting new episode! Mana Vermeulen-McLeod has been an Earthaven Ecovillage (Black Mountain, NC) resident and member since 2007. She believes in the potential of transformation in each present moment. She is a Tantric life coach, mother, natural builder, hairdresser, and conflict mediator in her village. A social activist committed to anti-oppression work in areas of race, gender, and class differences. She enjoys supporting herself and others in embodied resilience and everyday courage. In this episode, Mana and I have a conversation about radical unification as a way to heal the political divide in the country and the world. How do we have curiosity and interest for those we disagree with on issues instead of contempt, anger, or outright canceling others views and opinions? We discuss that radical unification is part of our spiritual path. He has recently been looking into a topic that's dear to our hearts - the role that Chrstianity played in the social evolution of human society for the last two thousand years. Morgan proposes that the Bible goes far beyond the creation of the believer vs nonbeliever - it actually establishes a metaphysical frame for everything that follows, wherein the foundational premise of the death and resurrection of the Crucifixion is intended to be literally *beyond belief.* We explore the social features that are required downstream of this central premise, and how the world we inhabit today is shaped by principles established in a wildly different age. The creation of a united, powerful Germany completely reshaped European power politics in the late 19th century. But how did it happen? What was the character of that new country, and did it reflect older ideas and values of its Prussian ancestor? Join us as we consider the creation of a country that created so much art and technology but also violence and death. Was its formation a good idea or a bad idea?

Send us a textIn this episode we are continuing to follow this theme of antidote making —which I have been talking about in some form for the last few episodes. Creating antidotes for what we see in the world. Becoming what we wish the world to be. This is no small task in a world on fire. It's the stance of a warrior. So today we are going to be talking about actions that generate love. This is for you if you've ever felt awkward, you wish to see more love in the world, or you wish to actually BECOME LOVE. One antidote for divisive times is unification. It's care. It's love. It's seeing the best in one another— it's being there for each other and seeking that out. It's anchoring in and making good feelings between people. In this segment from the Son Rise Morning Show on Sacred Heart Radio, Fr. Frank Donio, S.A.C. reflects on the “Appeals for Hope” section of the Bull of Indiction for the Jubilee Year by Pope Francis.16. Echoing the age-old message of the prophets, the Jubilee reminds us that the goods of the earth are not destined for a privileged few, but for everyone. The rich must be generous and not avert their eyes from the faces of their brothers and sisters in need. Here I think especially of those who lack water and food: hunger is a scandal, an open wound on the body of our humanity, and it summons all of us to a serious examination of conscience. I renew my appeal that “with the money spent on weapons and other military expenditures, let us establish a global fund that can finally put an end to hunger and favour development in the most impoverished countries, so that their citizens will not resort to violent or illusory situations, or have to leave their countries in order to seek a more dignified life”. [8]Another heartfelt appeal that I would make in light of the coming Jubilee is directed to the more affluent nations. I ask that they acknowledge the gravity of so many of their past decisions and determine to forgive the debts of countries that will never be able to repay them. More than a question of generosity, this is a matter of justice. It is made all the more serious today by a new form of injustice which we increasingly recognize, namely, that “a true ‘ecological debt' exists, particularly between the global North and South, connected to commercial imbalances with effects on the environment and the disproportionate use of natural resources by certain countries over long periods of time”. [9] As sacred Scripture teaches, the earth is the Lord's and all of us dwell in it as “aliens and tenants” ( Lev 25:23). If we really wish to prepare a path to peace in our world, let us commit ourselves to remedying the remote causes of injustice, settling unjust and unpayable debts, and feeding the hungry. (taken from Spes non confundit – Bull of Indiction). In the Catholic Church, the concept of Jubilee or ‘Holy Year' was used to declare special years for forgiveness and reconciliation. The first Jubilee was declared by Pope Boniface VIII on 22nd February 1300 (Feast of the Chair of St. Peter), to mark the beginning of that century. He later recommended it occurring every 100 yearsNotes:Read the Bull of Indiction hereOn Mission: PilgrimagesOn Mission: ShrinesYear of Prayer 2024 Resources Follow us:The Catholic Apostolate CenterThe Center's podcast websiteInstagramFacebookApple PodcastsSpotify Fr.

#twinflames #starseeds #ascensionprocess #forgivenessandhealing #relationship #energy #soul Hey Gorgeous souls,You may not know my full story. However my third wave of awakening occurred in 2015 involving my Twin Flame. This was a rapid ascension and healing process.I used the experience to catapult me into my soul purpose, created The Online Twin Flame Healing Program, left my corporate career and launched a business by 2017. Quantum leaps. I followed soul!Fast forward a decade to 2025. I was called into Twin Flame work at a macro level. It became very clear the 25/01/25 is coded for union - in particular re-unification of soul levels 10D-15D. Many are part of what I call the founder tribes. Both the female and the male were tricked and hijacked then energetically set against each other by hijacking the soul consciousness and light bodies.Last week I was able to access the containment field for the Divine masculine - thousands of trapped souls now liberated. They will go through a rehab and re-integration back into their soul streams. The forgiveness let's the light back in. The forgiveness makes way for accessing the love of source to flood back in.Not all Twin flames are incarnated in a body. They may also choose not to step into pathway of a 3D connection. However, YOU ARE CONNECTED TO A TRIBE OF ORIGINAL TWIN FLAMES ON EARTH...FIND THEM. They too are highly coded, rod and staff holders. They are also activators for your growth. Be open to a higher perspective of these connections and be open to the love that transcends timelines. This means let go of the focus on a construct and allow yourself to be open to love (which may be through another highly coded Twin Flame who is resonant at your now frequency).Want support?Instant access now:The Soul Architect Series™ Spiritual Awakening-Healing & Transformation Programhttps://www.alleradawn.com/the-soul-a...Want 121 support?Visionary Soul Accelerator 1 week bespoke container:https://www.alleradawn.com/booking-wi...Allera DawnThe Modern Day High Priestesswww.alleradawn.com

In this episode we continue our current Spotlight Series, Star Trek Pilots, with Deep Space Nine's “Emissary”. Originally airing on January 3rd 1993, the third installment in the franchise was VASTLY different. Looked at as the “black sheep” of the franchise for a long time, Deep Space Nine's fan base has grown exponentially in recent years due to binge watching during the pandemic, streaming services, and more. North Korea is, to this day, still one of the world's most mysterious countries. What little we know about daily life in the country comes from defectors or foreigners who've spent time there–some of whom have been on this show. But both camps present narrow, if not slanted, views of what life is like in the country. Korea expert Victor Cha, along with several other researchers, have put together a collection that tries to tackle the topic of North Korea with a more rigorous approach, in The Black Box: Demystifying the Study of Korean Unification and North Korea (Columbia University Press: 2024) What do we know about North Korea's cyberwarfare capability? Do U.S.-South Korea military exercises really cause North Korean belligerence? What do ordinary North Koreans believe? And what do U.S. and South Korean experts think are their “known unknowns” when it comes to North Korea? Victor D. Cha is Distinguished University Professor, D.S. Song-KF Endowed Chair, and professor of government in the Walsh School of Foreign Service and the Department of Government at Georgetown University. He serves in senior advisory positions for the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Department of Defense Policy Board, and the National Endowment for Democracy. Cha previously served on the National Security Council as director for Asian affairs.
