She's a chawwwwwklit seller, the biggest customer of both Donkey Fords and Chicken Hut and the most running she's done in the last 50 years is away from the Munster team's security but now our Noni has gotten into fitness. While event usually sees 80,000 participants pegging it around Dublin bedecked in all the colours of the rainbow, this year, they're going virtual, and nationwide. Those taking part are being encouraged to walk, run, or jog 10km across the day and raise money for charities around the country. For the lucky few who participate in an Olympic Games, a typical right of passage is to have the Olympic Rings tattooed in celebration. But for David Gillick, it was something he never considered until years after his appearance at the 2008 Beijing Games. Speaking to Dermot and Dave, David explained how it was his wife who pushed him into marking his achievement. David is also working with the VHI Women's Mini Marathon and shared some top tips for getting into running in time for the big event in September. The VHI Women's Mini Marathon will be going ahead this year, virtually, with thousands of women around Ireland getting their runners on for great causes and great chats along the way!
