Opie and Ron kick off with NYC's new school AI ban (the strictest in the country) and why they think it's going to raise a generation of kids who can't keep up. A Harlem pastor who's been screaming “Starbucks puts ****** in the coffee” for over a decade finally gets airtime. From there it's private-school tuition that starts at age four, a church marquee that would make your grandmother faint, Katt Williams getting a Netflix show, the USS Abraham Lincoln docking in Thailand after 286 days at sea, and Tiger Woods walking away from another crash with a five-year driving ban. Unfiltered, unhinged, and somehow still the only daily show actually talking about what's happening right now. Throw them a few bucks if the summer streams kept you company. This episode of Management Unfiltered explores the difference between being nice and being kind in dental practice leadership.Kirk Teachout argues that “nice” people tell you what you want to hear, while “kind” people tell you the truth you need to hear—even when it creates discomfort. He explains how filtered feedback can allow scheduling problems, collections issues, and poor decisions to grow into expensive crises. The episode covers:How to distinguish real truth-tellers from people who simply agree with youFive tests for evaluating coaches, friends, advisors, and colleaguesWhy mentors may risk your friendship for your successFour ways practice owners can make it safe for their teams to share bad newsHow to build a personal “board” of people who will challenge your decisionsThe weekly assignment: ask someone, “What is one thing about how I run this practice that I do not want to hear?", then listen without defending yourself.

Comedian Jeeveshu Ahluwalia gets brutally honest about money, fame, and why he "loves being a victim", plus an untold story about Imtiaz Ali, Ranbir Kapoor, and his first-ever film set.In this episode of xMonks Drive, host Gaurav Arora sits down with stand-up comedian and actor Jeeveshu Ahluwalia for a conversation that goes far beyond the usual "journey" interview. Jeeveshu breaks down how India's Got Latent compares to the Kapil Sharma Show, what actually happened to his own gigs after past comedy controversies, and why he thinks "trying to please everyone" is the real formula for failure. He opens up about growing up after his father's death, what money actually meant in a home that couldn't always afford newspaper, and how that shaped an almost obsessive relationship with financial security. Later, he reveals real numbers most comedians never discuss — from his first ₹800 gig to what top Indian comics like Vir Das reportedly charge per show today. The conversation also goes deep into his acting career: the first time Imtiaz Ali cast him in Tamasha, the moment Ranbir Kapoor's humility completely changed how he thinks about success, and his more recent dramatic role in Bandaa Singh Chaudhary. It's a rare look at Jeeveshu Ahluwalia as a craftsman — not just a comic, but a working actor, writer, and performer with over 3,000 shows across 15+ countries behind him.Timestamps 00:00 India's Got Latent Controversy00:38 Success Means Money01:49 Growing Up Without Money06:27 Enough Never Comes07:00 I Couldn't Care Less08:12 The People Pleasing Trap09:26 Latent vs Kapil Sharma Show13:29 Outrage Targets The Powerless14:50 I Love Being A Victim19:12 How He Writes Jokes21:23 Testing Material Live23:58 Adapting To Every Audience25:05 Marriage & Kids Banter25:32 Clean vs Edgy Comedy27:30 Reading The Room28:24 Bombing On Stage32:01 Never Abandon A Joke32:53 Blaming A Bad Show34:50 Self Lies & Real Love36:31 Fan Boundaries40:27 A Fan Message That Stuck42:19 Advice For New Comics43:49 Talent vs Luck44:44 Why Live Beats Everything46:41 Movies Feel Like Surprise47:32 Who Deserves The Credit48:47 Losing Creative Control49:42 Comedy Habits On Set51:02 Live vs Movies vs TV51:40 First Film With Imtiaz Ali54:27 Humility From Ranbir Kapoor57:22 Stars Who Stay Grounded01:01:19 Insecurity & Wokeism01:04:39 What Comedians Actually Earn01:08:23 One Wish, Next LifeWatch full episodes of xMonks Drive for more honest, unfiltered conversations with India's most interesting minds.

What if your body isn't broken, and the symptoms you've been fighting are actually trying to tell you something?Physician, author, and educator Dr. Karyn Shanks joins Giving Pain Purpose for a powerful conversation about chronic illness, trauma, the nervous system, and what it means to stop seeing ourselves as problems that need to be fixed.Together, Dr. Shanks and Lyndsay explore how our experiences can shape the way our bodies respond to the world, why creating a sense of safety matters, and how curiosity and self-compassion can change the way we approach healing. They unpack the frustration of living with symptoms that don't always come with clear answers and the emotional toll of feeling disconnected from—or even betrayed by—your own body.Dr. Shanks shares her holistic perspective on healing, bringing together science, psychology, and lived experience to challenge the belief that illness means something within us has failed. At the heart of this conversation is a powerful shift in perspective: instead of constantly asking, “What's wrong with me?” what happens when we begin asking, “What is my body trying to tell me?”For anyone living with chronic illness, navigating trauma, or searching for answers after feeling dismissed or defeated, this episode is a reminder that you are more than your symptoms, and healing may begin when you stop fighting your body and start listening to it.Episode Highlights:(00:00) Introduction to Dr. Karyn Shanks and the show's focus(01:53) The disconnect in modern medicine and the root of trauma(04:12) Dr. Shanks' personal health journey and realization(06:53) Understanding the body's organization and response to trauma(10:59) The importance of listening to the body's messages(15:00) Pain and suffering as portals for healing(18:04) The role of safety and connection in recovery(21:55) Holistic, systemic approach to chronic illness(24:00) The significance of storytelling and safety in healing(27:49) Western medicine's limitations and the need for integration(29:58) Closing thoughts and resourcesFind Dr. Karyn Shanks Online Here:Website: karynshanksmd.comInstagram: @karynshanksmdFacebook: Karyn Shanks MDLinkedIn: Karen Shanks, MDBook: UnBroken: Reclaim Your WholenessFind Giving Pain Purpose Online Here:Website: givingpainpurpose.comInstagram: @givingpainpurposeFacebook: The Giving Pain Purpose PodcastLinkedIn: Lyndsay SopranoYouTube: @givingpainpurposeShop: thegivingpainpurposeshop.comSubscribe on YouTube | Merch Shop is OPEN!! | COMING SOON: The Pain Hub - A Women's Healing Community. Citizen McCain is BACK, and there is a lot to catch up on. Meghan McCain and Miranda Wilkins return from summer break with an emotional tribute to the legendary Dolly Parton, reflecting on her extraordinary life, generosity, music, and rare ability to bring people from every corner of American culture together. Then, Meghan responds to the backlash over her comments about 13-year-old North West and asks a bigger parenting question: when does self-expression cross the line into adults failing to protect a child's childhood? Senator Ted Cruz joins Meghan and Miranda for a wide-ranging conversation about his new book, Going Further: The Incomparable Clarence Thomas. Cruz shares stories from his decades-long friendship with Justice Thomas, his remarkable political evolution, and the experiences that shaped one of the most influential conservative figures in America. Then, Citizen McCain's resident royal expert Lady Sarah Elliott breaks down why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may suddenly be looking back toward Britain. Have the Sussexes run out of cultural capital in America? Do their titles simply mean more in the UK? Could money, status, and their children's royal connections be pulling them back into the fold? And what happens to Harry and Meghan when Prince William eventually becomes king? Plus, Meghan and Miranda react to South Carolina's wild Senate race, Darline Graham's viral national security stumble, and plenty more after nearly three weeks away. This week we're releasing the final episode of our Prayer Unfiltered series.Over the past several months you've trusted us with some incredibly honest questions about prayer, suffering, healing, God's sovereignty, disappointment, fasting, authority, hearing God, praying in the Spirit, and unanswered prayer. This final conversation brings all of those questions together around one simple truth:Grief and trust are not opposites. If you've ever wondered...Why should I keep praying?Did I do something wrong? Can I tell God I'm angry? How do I trust Him when my story isn't the one I wanted?...we hope this conversation reminds you that prayer has never been about finding the perfect formula. It has always been about relationship with the Father. This conversation explores biblical lament, grief, trust, God's sovereignty, healing, disappointment, and what genuine faith looks like when life doesn't unfold the way we expected. If you've ever questioned God's goodness after unanswered prayer, struggled with disappointment, or wondered how to keep trusting God through suffering, this episode is for you.Thank you for walking through this series with us. Your questions made these conversations possible, and we pray they've encouraged you to bring your whole heart before God.We'll be taking a short break while we travel and teach, but we'll be back soon with new episodes.Until then...Keep asking.Keep seeking.Keep listening. And most of all...Keep talking to your Father.
These are the ten truths that quietly rearranged my entire life, and I'm handing every single one of them to you.Girl, we've made it to the final episode of my birthday series, and I saved the best for last. This one is the mindset shifts, the internal rewires that changed how I see myself, my relationships, and what I'm actually capable of building at 37. Some of these took me years to learn. Grab your coffee and let's get into it.Inside the episode:Why it's never too late to rebuild your life, and the surprising 2025 pop culture example I can't stop thinking aboutThe uncomfortable truth about who you should (and shouldn't) be taking advice from, and why I'm calling out a pattern I see way too oftenThe mindset shift that finally made my own fertility journey feel like ease instead of resistance and how identity work changes everything before behavior doesReady to actually rebuild? Aaron breaks down how eliminating wasted motion, timing your procedures, and treating your operatory like an F1 pit crew creates predictable, high-level dentistry without cutting corners.Whether you feel trapped in the operatory or want to give your team a clear, repeatable workflow, this conversation offers a practical blueprint for turning chair-side efficiency into better patient experiences, higher case acceptance, and hours back in your week.

What happens when someone finally believes the story you've spent years carrying alone?Board-certified polygraph examiner David Goldberg joins Giving Pain Purpose for a powerful conversation about truth, trauma, validation, and the profound impact of finally feeling heard. With more than 30 years of experience investigating abuse, assault, and complex trauma, David shares how his work goes far beyond determining whether someone is telling the truth.Together, David and Lyndsay explore why trauma survivors can struggle to trust their own memories, the lasting damage of being dismissed or disbelieved, and how validation can become an unexpected part of the healing process. They also unpack common misconceptions about polygraph testing and its role in relationships, personal healing, and the pursuit of justice. At its heart, this conversation isn't really about a machine or a test. It's about what happens when someone is given the space to tell their truth—and someone is finally there to listen. For anyone who has ever questioned their own story or carried pain in silence, this episode is a reminder that being heard can be powerful—and your story matters.Episode Highlights:(00:02) Lyndsay opens up about lying, truth and self-protection(03:17) Introducing David Goldberg(04:19) What a polygraph actually is and how it works(06:04) How your body reveals the truth(07:27) What happens if you're nervous during a polygraph(08:09) How examiners reduce anxiety before testing(09:45) Who polygraphs are really for(16:00) Polygraphs for sexual assault survivors and victims(22:00) False accusations and how polygraphs protect the innocent(27:00) How polygraph results hold up legally(35:42) Advice for anyone who has been dismissed or not believed(36:05) What a professional examiner's job really is(37:45) Polygraphs for people in abusive relationships(38:28) How to find David and closing thoughtsFind David Goldberg Online Here:Website: www.executiveprotectiongrp.comInstagram: @thedavidgoldberg Facebook: Executive Protection Group Polygraph Service YouTube: @the_davidgoldbergPodcast: Inside The Polygraph with David GoldbergFind Giving Pain Purpose Online Here:Website: givingpainpurpose.comInstagram: @givingpainpurposeFacebook: The Giving Pain Purpose PodcastLinkedIn: Lyndsay SopranoYouTube: @givingpainpurposeShop: thegivingpainpurposeshop.comSubscribe on YouTube | Merch Shop is OPEN!! | COMING SOON: The Pain Hub - A Women's Healing Community. You know when your energy changes. So why is it sometimes so damn hard to do something about it? For empaths, the problem often isn't recognizing that a person, conversation, or situation is depleting us. We notice. And then we override what we noticed. In this episode of Your Yes Filled Life, Brenda explores why protecting your energy can feel much harder than simply “setting better boundaries.” She shares what happened when a client became so depleted she experienced what Brenda calls energy sickness, how to begin recognizing your own physical signals of depletion, and why hydration, protein, and energetic hygiene matter. Brenda also shares a recent conversation with her mom that uncovered an old belief hiding underneath her own difficulty with boundaries: setting a boundary could mean burning a bridge. Then there's the phone call. Brenda knew her energy was changing. The call dropped three separate times. She kept reconnecting. Shortly afterward, she went into a TikTok Live that performed at roughly 25% of what she'd become accustomed to seeing. Was the conversation responsible? There's no way to know for certain. But Brenda knew she had ignored what her body was telling her—and it raised a much bigger question: What is it costing you when you do the same? This episode will help you notice where your energy is changing, understand why protecting it can feel threatening, and take responsibility for something you actually CAN control: Who gets continued access to you. ✨ Download Brenda's free Energy Audit: https://www.brendawinkle.com/audit ✨ The Empowered Empath Collective is currently exploring intuition and learning to recognize your own internal signals: https://www.brendawinkle.com/membership ✨ Enrollment for POWER: Self-Trust for Empaths opens in September. Whitney Cummings decided to scrap an entire episode and then she scrambled to record a new one that no one was prepared for. What could she have possibly said about Perez Hilton? Tony Michaels has decided to completely change his show format. The problem is, he's still the host and he is endlessly unlikeable. Adam Busch revisited Stuttering John's Beer on the Balcony featuring David Feldman. It's incredible to watch John's guest quickly realize that John has a childlike understanding of politics and the world and he can't stop trashing everyone he's ever worked with. David tries to help him but StutJo can't be fixed. Jerry Banfield contemplates selling us the 16 minute unlisted video he sent to his queen to win her back. You won't believe who he asked for advice on what to do. Opie can't wait to milk the attention he finally got from Anthony Cumia after his cohost Ron the Waiter made fun of the Anthony and Jim Show. The problem is, Ron and Opie have no idea how to respond in a way that doesn't prove everything Anthony said is 100% accurate. Epic fail! Ron shows his face after Anthony's 40-minute rant and Opie basically hands him the starter pack: “Congrats, you've got at least ten years of this coming. I'm on year twenty-five.” They dig into the obsession, the selective bad clips, Bill Burr's five-year chip, and why some people just can't leave well enough alone. Then Opie drops the real material of the day—pulling a stick-and-log situation out of his dog's ass—plus Sean Penn's second-home tax meltdown, Sebastian's new Sirius show, and the usual Venmo-for-gas-and-movie-tickets energy.
