Jeremiah 9:23-24 - Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”
Nothing in Scripture happens by chance or coincidence. God made all things the way He intended them to be. Though we sin He still created us to show us His mercy. He wants us to go and share His love with others so that they, too, may come to experience His loving grace.
Are you, Restored, Redeemed, Regenerated? Do you love Jesus? Do you Love Him as you should? Do you love the Biblical Christ?
When we practice our faith in Jesus, He is amazed! We must learn to submit under the authority of Jesus in all things, accepting what He has in store for us and bringing others to Him so that they, too, may experience His mercy and grace.
During the new year, we have opportunities to draw nearer to God, to fight the good fight of sharing the Good news of the Gospel. Finish the race and keep the faith.
With joy we anticipate the coming of our savior and yet we also celebrate the fact that He already came! We are encouraged to walk the path paved for us by those who came before us in the faith, to run the race that God directs for us and to above all things to keep the faith, keep our hope alive, knowing that only God can produce eternal joy in our lives no matter our circumstances.
God calls us to live in community, to tell the truth, to serve the needy. To activate our faith through faithful acts of service fro His honor and glory. Do not swear, but let your yes be yes and your no be no. Trust in Him in all things!
God calls us to love and forgive. Don't add to it, and certainly don't subtract from it. Alone, it is impossible, but with Christ, all things are possible. Submit to his will today and walk as Jesus did. Ask the Lord you show you whom He needs you to forgive and love, and then do it, no matter what it may cost you!
Do not slander one another or give false witness. Trust in God in all things and activate your faith, speak against evil and for the voiceless. Hate the sin but love the sinner.
He is faithful and loving. Remember, this lost world is mistakenly trying to find the answers to their troubles in affairs, work, sports, hobbies, and meaningless selfish self-fulfillment. Yet, there is a large hole in our lives that only the ridiculous grace of God can fill. As we experience it, let us go and tell others about it.
God invites us to be holy as He is holy, that He may complete His work of ridiculous grace, His second work of grace, an entire sanctification upon us, faithful followers of Jesus.
The ultimate goal of the book of James is to call our attention to the matters of the heart. From the heart comes a desire for God, but if we become selfish, from the heart will come evil intent. Guard your heart, trust in God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Once he does, then draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
God loves us very much, and He longs for us to repent of our sins and return to His welcoming, loving arms. Do so today; do not wait any longer.
Rejoice, for this is a good thing if you love the Lord; if you don't, then it's time to repent! Christian, how will you... ...live in the redemptive grace of God? How will you stay alert against the attacks of the enemy? How will you keep your eyes out, looking up for His return? How will you build up your fireproof faith in these last days? How will you remain obedient to Jesus from now on? How will you develop a sense of urgency and save others?
Defining our Sin in relationship with God's righteousness. Genesis 6:5-13 AMP. Stop the poisonous cancel culture because you feel convicted by the absolute truth of God's message. Repent and live by God's Morals, His Ethical Standards, and the Belief that He is a benevolent and Good Father.
As we anticipate the coming of our Savior, let us be mindful that the Scriptures warn us of a deceiver that will come to fool people, even believers. Because of that, we must always be on our guard and know who our God is, the creator and preserver of all things, and who is our true bringer of peace, Jesus the Christ!
God calls us to practice His wisdom so that it may lead us to faithful actions for his glory. Do not be deceived by the world's view but lean on the truth of God alone.
Justification is a work that only God can perform in our lives. He will wash away our sins so that we may also forgive others. He will apply His righteousness upon us. He will make us "right," but also like Christ. The spotless, sinless lamb who took on the punishment we deserved. His justification is, lastly, a legal pronouncement that we are not guilty, fully vindicated by His love and grace.
In the Beatitudes, we find a list of Christian characters that mark the Christian experience. As a result, Jesus calls us to be the salt of the world, light to the world, and let the light shine bright for all to see. To be a Christian is to be an imitator of Christ! Matthew 5:1-12
arning regarding our tongue...
God invites us to choose Him through His prevenient grace. Do not be afraid to humbly explore this offer. He loves you and wants you to make the right choice, which is to follow Him!
-I have asked one thing from the Lord... to live in the house of the Lord -You lack one thing... to put your trust in Jesus -One thing is necessary... to be at the feet of Jesus -One thing I know I was blind, but now I see -Do one thing: leave the past behind you and focus on the hope of Christ ahead
I'm in trouble, but I will trust the Lord (Psalm 31) I'm overwhelmed, but may your will be done (Matthew 26) Things look really bad, but God is always faithful (Daniel 3)
His grace is sufficient for us. Trust in Him, lean upon his grace, move in faithful action, and be amazed at what you will accomplish through His power in you!
We are introduced to the topics of favoritism and faith. We must never show favoritism as it is a sin against God. Rather love our neighbors as ourselves.
God calls us to action, to be his hands and feet, the voice of reason, the flavor of compassion. Through those faithful actions, others will be drawn to him for all eternity. Let's get to work!
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
God's compassion motivates Him to show us His amazing grace. We must practice such compassion in all aspects of our lives and follow the example of Jesus so that we may come to fully grasp our compassionate God.
No one who is tested should say, "God is tempting me!" This is because any form of evil does not tempt God, nor does he tempt anyone. Everyone is tempted by their own cravings; they have been lured away and enticed by them. Once those cravings conceive, they give birth to sin, and when sin grows up, it gives birth to death. Don't be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good gift, every perfect gift, comes from above. These gifts come down from the Father, the creator of the heavenly lights, in whose character there is no change at all. He chose to give us birth by his true word, and here is the result: we are like the first crop from the harvest of everything he created." James 1:13-18 CEB
Jesus came for three simple reasons: to take away our sins, to destroy the works of the devil, and to grant us eternal life. We are not going to get a better deal, so act on His grace today.
We must study the Word of God in order to grow in our Christian journey and understand what He expects from the believer. Consider your trials as joy, for God is at work in you, and through you, He will draw others to His mercy and grace.
God calls us to follow His will and respond in obedience to the guidance of His Spirit. Nothing else will do; only His truth matters. Seek to live by it every day.
Jesus Christ pleads for you and me; He is our advocate before the Judge of the world, and He speaks to God for us. Let us be motivated daily to pray for others and to walk faithfully before the Lord our God.
God is Faithful and loving. God is with us, producing in us Christlike fruits of love, joy, and peace, guiding us to forgive and to trust in Him even in difficult times, for He alone is faithful; He alone is compassionate and good!
In a world like today, it is difficult to be the woman that God has called us to be and not fall into the same traps as the rest of the world. Yet we are not alone; we have God's help and women of faith around us to help guide us.
God's Word is full of His promises, and as we will see today, He promises to strengthen, help us, and hold us through our situation. What a blessed experience to recognize that God calls us unto Himself, and He longs to be in fellowship with us all. May you seek such a closeness with our Holy Father every day. God is faithful and loving. Do not merely sit around waiting for God to do; you move in faith and go! Listen to His voice, act in faith, and anticipate His blessings for you so that you may be a blessing to others every day of your life.
We must humble ourselves before God in our service to Him and let Him bless us for our faithful actions and disregard trying to please others. Pleasing and surrendering our Father above is the purpose of life; live it well daily. Please support our ministry at: patreon.com/217Faith
God calls us to repentance through Jesus' resurrection on the cross. As we accept His gift, we must seek to not only be restored and reconciled to Him but also to be used in the service of others. There is no greater ministry than serving God out of obedience. Trust Him for the strength we need today and the hope for a better tomorrow!
It is not too late to make the right choice and to allow the Holy Spirit to draw us closer to our living Heavenly Father and apply the blood of Jesus, His gift, upon your life today. To refuse the Holy Spirit's ministry is to reject the gift of God.
Assurance of our prayers requires us to learn how to submit to God's perspective, long to enjoy God's presence even as we wait for His responses, and finally, lean on the scriptures themselves, the very promises of God for our times of prayer that we have been speaking about. We like to continue by taking a look at our grievances with God and what path our prayers should take, that of a conversation rather than just talking for all to hear. Learning to lay our fears aside and be still so we may listen to the will of God. If you would like to support our ministry, please visit our Patreon Account. Thank you. Patreon.com/217Faith
Be assured that God loves you so much. He is faithful and loving. Learn to approach God through our mediator, Jesus, and know with full assurance and complete confidence that He hears your requests and will answer them according to His will for our lives. Let us then seek to align ourselves to that will every day! If you would like to support our ministry, please visit our Patreon Account. Thank you.patreon.com/217Faith
The call of the Christian is to serve others in love regardless of any possible reward. Good intentions won't cut it, and disregard for the needy will certainly fall short, but complete surrender and obedience is the only plan of action that will do. We must love others because God first loved us. Glorify God when sinners come to repentance and help usher them to the presence of God. This is what Jesus did and what is expected of you and me!
I believe that when we pray the scriptures, as they represent the words and promises of God, this is the one way we can not only align ourselves to the will of God but when we pray for what God has already promised, then our prayers will be heard and answered! In faith, that is, we believe that God will do as He has promised to do. If you would like to support our ministry, please access our patron account here. www.patreon.com/217Faith
The real reason for the season it's not about the gifts, although those should remind us of the gifts of God towards us. It's not even so much about being with family and friends. Still, it should remind us of God's desire to be in community with us. Let us rejoice that at a time such as this, God sent His Son to restore us to Himself. God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. God loves you so much. He is faithful and loving. Practice being thankful, and you will learn every day to have a Godly attitude that will paint all other actions in your lives for the glory of God.
We must desire the wisdom of God no matter what it may cost us rather than falling for the lies and deceptions of worldly wisdom. We cannot punt this decision to someone else, it is a personal decision that each individual must take, no matter what comes. Choose God's wisdom and not the world's.
