On week two of the Nathan Series, we opened up to Luke 6:37-38 and discovered that Jesus is inviting us into a life that's Given to God and Given for Others. He's inviting us to give generously and trust that He will provide everything we need because our actions are like a boomerang!
As our church begins the Nathan Initiative, we want to unpack this profound statement: Everything is Given to Share and Multiply as Grace for Others. Week one is about "Everything" - how much of your life have you surrendered to Jesus? Like the poor widow in Mark 12, we want to surrender everything to the one who owns everything!

Human nature leads us to divide, label, and protect our own "rightness." But, Jesus describes a radical vision for unity in John 17:20-21... that his followers would be one, just as he is one with the Father. Can you imagine what could happen if we caught this vision for unity?
In Mark 10, Jesus finds the disciples divided over authority, power, and favoritism, and he responds by completely redefining greatness. Greatness is not what you can achieve, but the act of becoming a servant. This story invites us to take the same descent to greatness that Jesus took himself.
The story of Martha & Mary teaches us what is essential: to sit at the feet of Jesus. It's so easy to cram our lives with busyness - even with good things - but that leads to burnout and isolation. This Jesus Story invites us to let those distractions fall away and choose the heart of Mary.
Special guest speaker Micah Scharchburg brings a passionate word on Luke 15 and the story of the Two Lost Sons. The younger son missed the Father's heart by his wild living, and the older son missed the heart of the Father by his judgment. But no matter which brother you are, the Father has his arms open to you!
If we're going to be Jesus people, we need to know Jesus stories! This series will be Gospel stories that teach us about our Savior. The first story finds Jesus, the Disciples, and the Pharisees in a conflict about the Sabbath. The Pharisees preach the kingdom of religion - judgment and hypocrisy. But, Jesus preaches the Kingdom of God - love and mercy.
Week two of our relationships series is on the lies we believe about ourselves. Identity is so important because we will become who we think we are. God offers incredible truth that dispels all the lies that seek to ruin our relationships.
There is a war going on over your heart, and it's a war of truth and lies. Relationships are one of the enemy's biggest targets because it's where we open up our hearts. We've kick off the series by speaking truth about lies we may believe about God.
The Christmas story can often become white noise to us, but Jesus has shown us a radical, scandalous, and incredible love by coming to earth as a human. This is what love looks like!
One of the most basic questions we face today is how to love somebody you disagree with. We're stuck in division, comparison, revenge, and selfishness. This is how the kingdom of the world operates. But, Jesus announces a new Kingdom, one that calls its people to lay down their rights in order to love. In Matthew 5:38-47, Jesus offers a wild invitation to choose love when you least expect it.
Why does sin matter? Why do we want to sin? Is there any way to be free from? The Apostle Paul shows us some incredible truth in Romans 6 about what Jesus did on the Cross to change our reality. You can be free from sin because our sinful nature was put to death on the cross, and we've been raised to new life with Jesus! The Cross has changed everything.
Whether we admit it or not, many of us get confused, frustrated, or give up altogether on the Bible. What is the Bible? What is it's purpose? We tackle these questions in this message. The Bible tells the story of God and it's purpose is to be a witness that points to Jesus.
No matter how wealthy, famous, or successful you may be, every person will come back to a few basic questions. Kicking off a new series, Youth Pastor Graydon Jones asks the most question you could ever ask: "Who is God?" The answer? God is Love, God is Trinity, and God is For Me!
We've talked about our identity, our call, and now Youth Pastor Graydon Jones brings a message about culture. Culture is what it feels like to be around us, and God is calling us to be culture shapers! We shape our culture to be like Jesus when we cross borders, lead with joy, and strengthen our nets to bring in the fish God has for us.
In Matthew 4:19, Jesus called Peter and Andrew to follow him and become Fishers of People. God is calling our youth ministry into a Year of Mission and making us a people who cast nets. Will you choose to take the first step and pick up your net?
Racism is one of the greatest injustices in our world. Racism can be external, obvious actions but also internal prejudices. God deeply cares for racial reconciliation among all peoples, and we, as the people of God, are called to be the ones who cross human-made boundaries and build bridges. We're all headed towards the Revelation 7:9 reality of all people, all nations, all languages praising God side by side - let's prepare ourselves by living like that today.
Politics can be one of the most divisive subjects today. Our human tendency is to label and create an "Us vs. Them" mentality. How do we approach politics as the people of God? Youth Pastor Graydon Jones offers vision for us to bring our faith and politics together and lead out in loving people, no matter how they disagree with us.
Can science and faith coexist? The Getting Real series tackles that question by helping us rethink our assumptions about science, Scripture, and how we interpret all of life.
Continuing the Getting Real series, this week's message is about depression, self-harm, and what God says about these hard issues we're facing. The reality is that no darkness is more powerful than the life that Jesus brings, and he invites you to come bring your burden to him.
School and work take up a huge part of our lives. We all wonder what our calling is. What does God say about theses things? Youth Pastor Graydon Jones casts vision for God's heart for us on these topics.

Guest speaker Grizel Tena preaches an awesome message about living out the Gospel. The way we live our lives is such a powerful way to communicate the Gospel to the world. When we know our identity in Jesus, forgive and love others, and walk in hope and joy, people will take notice. Go put the Gospel into action!
Every Christian is called to share the good news of Jesus, and the best way to start is through prayer. Prayer gets us ready for evangelism by guiding us, empowering us, and taking the focus off of us.
As we begin a new year, Youth Pastor Graydon Jones shares a vision for 2018: "Always. Only. Jesus." Orient your life around this vision and let Jesus captivate your time, affection, relationships, resources, and passion - it'll change everything!
Guest speaker Aaron Nitcher preaches on cultural context and seeing the Bible through new eyes! There is so much more in Scripture than what we see through our 21st Century, American eyes. Take a journey back to Biblical times and discover how you can unlock more meaning as you read!
You were made for friendship. God uses friendship to change the world - so let's go for it!
You are fully seen, fully heard, fully known, and fully loved by God! Using the story of David, it's clear that this is how God views us. But are you living in that reality?
Guest speakers, Lloyd & Julia Ekpo, bring a strong message on the truth of our adoption by God. Weaving in their story of adoption, the Ekpos preach a simple message - You are loved by God, you are chosen by God, and you are forever His. Receive this adoption today!
"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ..." Ephesians 2:4-5. We will become who we think we are, and the good news is that we've been made alive through Jesus Christ! You're being invited into the identity, purpose, and love that God has for you - will you say yes?
The last week of the Relationship Series is about The Prize. We run the race well because there's a prize at the finish line. Combat the lies of the enemy and run with passion towards the prize so that you can say, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Tim. 4:7)
Continuing the Relationship Series, the third phase of the race is Endurance. At some point, you will experience adversity or tempation. You must endure! Hebrews 12:1-2 encourages us to press on, lay aside every weight, and run with endurance. No matter if you've run well or fallen - it's never to late to press on.
