This is the last episode of the show! We got a hit of that good good misogyny coming at you so prepare yourself to be spellbound by our Halloween Spectacular episode about Joan of Arc and a whole host of other women who got axed for being too mouthy. Ah yes, back from our break, we got a new episode all about religious education, libraries, and why Melvil Dewey was a garbage person. Special Guest this week is Robyn, local librarian, moss enthusiast, and reading fanatic (150 books in a year Robyn??? HOW).

Wondering who Ezekiel is? I wasn't, but oh boy, there's a lot happening under the hood of this underrated prophet. Now with more angels, zombies, and genocide than your pastor led you to belief, we're getting down and dirty with God's Chosen, Special guest this week is Gabby, musical aficionado and Italian impersonator (but I won't be fooled).

Now that we know how to become the Perfect Man, it's time to figure out how to become the Perfect Woman- hint, you can't. Part 2 dives deep in Leviticus and all the wild things women are supposed to do, and also not do. Special Guest this week is Lucy, graphic artist bringing those Cali Vibes to Virginia.

It's hard to know how to live the good life- but with this 2 part episode, we're here to help you figure out how to live a Perfect Life, according to Leviticus at least. Special guests this week are David, our favorite David, and Phill, beats extraordinaire.

We got the strong man himself, Samson, in all his ridiculous glory as well as some hot hits from Elijah and Elisha. Moral of the story, never mess with a man's hair. Back this week are Jason and Tiffanie to wrap their noggins around these wild stories.

We got some funky stories this week, starting with this wild Donkey, who does not get what he deserves. We talk about a corpulent king, who does get what he deserves, and Tamar, who knows how to get what she wants. Kevin returns as our guest this week, bringing that signature theater voice like the voice of Zeus.

We're picking up where we left off with the story of Jacob before jumping Joseph's bones, that irresistible man of dreams. Moral is be God's chosen, don't be not God's chosen, got it? Special guest this week is my brother Kevin, tabletop game enthusiast and man who can eat more ice cream then a human should have space for.

Full of puns and mischievousness, we're talking Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Too much foreskin, human sacrifice, and incest for me, but that's the old testament for you. Special guest this week is Remy, a mysterious person of art, quips, and darkness.

We're into the belly of the beast and talking about Jonah, that rebellious boy who just doesn't listen. We talk about the Best Boy, Elijah, and a very cool Buddhist story. Special guest is Eilie! She's an artist, storyteller, and has a graphic novel series you should support.

We're getting dirty and going back to the Crusades, talking about the great decline for Whitey during the Middle Ages, also known as when Islam was crushing it with math, philosophy, and culture. This was a stupid time. Like, I cannot emphasize how terrible this time period was in Europe, just a bunch of idiots acting like sanitation ain't no thing. Special Guest Brian on the show this week, resident Chinese and Religious Studies smartie here to get deep in that history.

Happy Easter y'all, we're getting into that good good Jesus' death and resurrection. Starting in Jerusalem and moving to the grave, the story of Jesus is quite the Saga. Special guest this week is Andy, our mountain boy in Colorado.

We're getting freaky with Jesus this week, looking at his birth, baptism, and beatitudes. We get into a long tangent from minute 36 to minute 51, feel free to skip if you just want those good good bible stories. Special guests this week are Erin and Ben, artists, photographers, and musicians in the Norfolk Virginia area.

Time to get real with cities God has had enough of, we're talking the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and Jericho. Special bonus discussion of the differences between Judas in the Bible vs the Quran and how that all factors into the End Times. Kareem returns to grace us with a wild story from Japan, featuring him speaking 4 languages, our local adventurer strikes again.

This is a saucy one, we're getting DEEP in that Moses lore, from the basket on the Nile to Mount Sinai, this is a journey through the Red Sea you don't want to miss. Our Special Guest is Kareem, our resident economist, egyptologist, and explorer, man of many countries and many wild adventures. Happy Passover! We got a real treat this week, probably one of my favorite episodes. We're starting at the beginning, the very beginning, on day one of the universe and moving forward into Hanukkah. This week's guest is Scott, safety slave, and I stole a photo of his very cute pug Bearshark, terror of the Alaskan dog parks.

Hot off the presses, here's a new episode, but we're switching it up this week. We're stepping back from pure Bible Stories and we're picking up on church history right after the death of Jesus. That's right, we're out of the BC and into the AD, getting all those good deets to see how we got where we are. Next week we're back with the Bible stories you know and ought to love, starting right at the very beginning with Genesis. Special guest this week is Ryan, our local Richmond king of bones.

We're doing the Bad Bitches of the Bible this week. That's right, we're talking Esther, Ruth, and Jezebel, everyone's favorite females are back at it again.
