Tonight we will be taking a long trip to Japan. I will be telling you the sad and horrifying tale of Junko Furuta. She was kidnapped in November of 1988 and tortured over a period of 44 days before she was finally murdered. In Japan she is known as the concrete-encased High school girl. This case drew nationwide attention due to the sheer brutality of the crime, although the newspapers deliberately did not report the details of the horrific ordeal  inflicted on her by four teenagers.
