Roy-G Biv Todays Mnemonic Everything is coming up?????-Alright, Grandpa Bill, let's weave this very personal and important detail into our discussion. It adds another layer of depth and relatability to my message of working with our bodies and minds, especially when facing unique challenges. Here's how we can build upon the mnemonic and memory palace.Building on my A-S-R, let's incorporate the specific experience of my left ear and the mastoid treatment history. Add a "L" for "Left Ear Legacy" and a "B" for "Better Still" to reflect the current improvement.L-A-S-R-B:Left Ear Legacy: Acknowledging the history of partial deafness due to the past mastoid treatment.Air Pressure Push: Remembering the sensation of the air during the recent procedure.Suction Sound Swirl: Recalling the sound of the suction in both ears.Ringing Release (with a lingering ring): Acknowledging the post-procedure ringing in the left ear, but emphasizing the overall improvement.Better Still: Highlighting the positive outcome and increased clarity despite the ringing. The Door (Air Pressure Push): Keep the gentle breeze, symbolizing the initial air sensation in both ears.MYFavorite Chair (Suction Sound Swirl): The swirling sound can still represent the suction in both ears. The Window (Ringing Release with a lingering ring): When you look out the window, the view is clearer overall, but perhaps I notice a faint, persistent shimmering or a subtle echo in the distance, representing the lingering ringing in my left ear.A Specific Object Near Your Chair (Left Ear Legacy): could be a small, slightly muted speaker, serving as a reminder of its unique journey.Looking Towards Another Part of the Room (Better Still): Shift my mental focus to another part of the room that feels brighter and clearer, symbolizing the overall improvement in my hearing.Workouts for Geriatrics: Grandpa Bill's Two-Ear Tale - Past Challenges, Present Clarity!Silver Streakers: My Left Ear's Journey - From Mastoid to Maybe More Hearing!Grandpa Bill's Holistic Hour: A Little Ringing, A Lot of Relief - My Earwax Expedition Continues!Hearing My Way Through It: Grandpa Bill's Update on Ear Health and Mineral Testing. The 1-92 Workout: Listen Closely! My Ear Story & the Importance of Mineral Balance.#GrandpaBillsKennelKelpHolisticHealingHour,#SilverStreakers,#WorkoutsForGeriatrics,#EarwaxRemovalJourney,#LeftEarStory,#MastoidTreatment,#PartialHearing,#RingingEars,#HearingImprovement,#MineralDeficiencyTesting,#HonestHealthTalk,#GeriatricHealth,#SeniorWellness,#HealthForAllAges,#MemoryAndHealing,Grandpa Bill and my left ear. Now, as some of you know, when I was just a young whippersnapper of five, I had a mastoid treatment on this side. It wasn't entirely successful, and I've lived with partial hearing in my left ear ever since. So, going into this earwax removal, I had a little extra hope.Grandpa Bill: States="The procedure yesterday… well, it was interesting. I did notice a bit more ringing in my left ear afterward, that's for sure. But you know what? Even with that little serenade, I can honestly say it feels… better still! There's a clarity I haven't experienced in a good long while."Grandpa Bill: " updated memory tool is L-A-S-R-B. Left ear legacy, remembering its history. The familiar Air pressure push and Suction sound swirl. Then, Ringing release – yes, there's still a bit of a ring on the left, but overall, a release of pressure. And the most important part? Better still! In my mind's memory palace, near my comfy chair, I've placed a little old-fashioned speaker – a nod to my left ear's journey. But when I look towards the window, the view is brighter, clearer. That's the 'better still' feeling. And guess what's next in this health adventure? Blood work to check for any mineral deficiencies. We're leaving no stone unturned in this quest for feeling our best, mind and body!"
It is Salvation Army Week and Michael Baldelli stops by to discuss their latest initiative and how you can help.
Story at-a-glance A recent large-scale meta-analysis found that people who ate more fruit had significantly lower odds of developing tinnitus than those with low fruit intake Dairy, fiber, and caffeine showed protective benefits as well. Moderate intake of these foods improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and supported inner ear stability A separate study also found that consuming butter and legumes helped calm tinnitus symptoms and stabilize auditory nerve activity MSG and aspartame aggravated symptoms by overstimulating nerves. These common additives disrupt your brain chemistry, heighten auditory sensitivity, and worsen tinnitus by triggering excitotoxic reactions, especially in sensitive individuals Eating whole foods and avoiding excitotoxins is a key strategy. Eliminate processed foods and focus on nutrient-rich meals to reduce nerve overload, balance blood sugar, and protect your auditory system

Ringing Rocks is one of the most unique places in Montana. This boulder field just west of Butte is one of only seven places in the world where the rocks chime like bells when you tap them with a hammer. Find the right rocks, and you can tap out your favorite tune. A short hike leads you to the boulder field. Leave no trace and leave the rocks where you found them — if you remove a rock from the formation, it loses all its musical properties. Ringing in the new year with a banger! John Michael Greer returns to the show to explore Whether we can say if 'western' magic has a discernable metaphysics. What those might be. Seeing as AI did such a good job of giving us a definition of metaphysics (which you will get in the show), here's what she thinks the episode is about: "The dialogue emphasizes the importance of directionality, the existence of intelligent non-human beings, and the overarching themes that unify magical practices across cultures. In this conversation, Gordon White delves into the complexities of historical knowledge, the concept of polarity in cosmology, and the nuances of sex magic. He discusses the limitations of historical records, the significance of polarity as a universal principle, and the often-misunderstood relationship between sexuality and magic. White also challenges cultural assumptions about elitism in esoteric practices and highlights the contributions of lesser-known figures like Pascal Beverly Randolph to the field of magic. The discussion culminates in a reflection on the meaningfulness of the cosmos and the interplay of energy in our experiences." Honestly? Pretty good. Show Notes John's website, Ecosophia.
