We have a couple more names to add to our fast-growing list of shadow banking casualties. And, yes, collateral is once again the common theme. One of them is of course in subprime auto financing, but that's just another canary in the credit coalmine. The other has been accused of fabricating half a billion of collateral invoices. Half a billion. Fake collateral.Eurodollar University's Money & Macro Analysis---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What if your gold could actually pay you every month… in MORE gold? That's exactly what Monetary Metals does. In this episode of Energy Newsbeat – Conversations in Energy, Stu Turley sits down with Wasif Latif, President of Sarmaya Partners, to explore the “Return to Tangibles” investment thesis. Latif explains why commodities like gold, silver, copper, and platinum are outperforming tech stocks and bonds in today's market. He breaks down the geopolitical catalysts, surging industrial demand, and the performance of the LENS ETF—designed to capture this tangible asset boom. From silver's breakout and platinum's comeback to supply chain rewiring and defense-driven resource demand, this episode is a masterclass on navigating a deglobalizing, resource-constrained world.7% retracement is another instance of the market digesting gains rather than signaling exhaustion. We see this spike in volatility as a healthy reset, not a sign of weakness. It's how long-term strength shows up and builds momentum.· Deficits, not just interest rates, are driving liquidity creation. With Social Security, Medicare, and Net Interest absorbing more than half of all U.S. federal outlays, fiscal consolidation seems a politically impossible. This structural imbalance anchors gold's long-term bid as policymakers rely increasingly on monetary and fiscal accommodation to finance spending.· Central banks have become systematic gold buyers, treating it as a Tier 1 reserve asset amid rising geopolitical fragmentation and declining trust in fiat discipline. Their price-insensitive accumulation sets a structural floor beneath the market. For investors, the behavioral edge lies in patience, the capacity to stay invested through cyclical volatility in a secular uptrend.See how energy plays into the return to tangibles. Canada is in trouble — and nobody wants to admit it. The Bank of Canada is about to cut interest rates for the 8th time, and while some people are cheering for a “housing rebound,” the truth is much darker. This isn't a sign of strength. A home field upset of Arizona State has Mississippi State proving progress in year-two with Jeff Lebby. The Bulldogs beat the Sun Devils with a game-saving goal line stand and game-winning touchdown throw in the final minute. The post-win celebration will cost the athletic department a cool half-million dollars per the SEC fine for field storming, but emotionally it is worth it after years of struggles. Now on to Alcorn State as for the first time Lebby has to bring a team down from a big win and build them up in a new week.

Some years don't ask for your permission. They just come for you. This episode is Nesha's most personal yet. After the sudden death of her younger sister and a breast cancer diagnosis just weeks later, she found herself in a year she never would've chosen. Grief stacked on top of shock. Radiation appointments scheduled around tears. And somewhere in the middle of it all, a literal FedEx truck. But this isn't about tragedy. This is about truth. Nesha shares the eight lessons that carried her through the hardest season of her life, from learning that grief and joy can live side by side, to realizing that rest isn't weakness. She talks candidly about anger, community, survival, and what it really means to let people show up for you. If you're in the middle of your own hard year, or love someone who is, this episode is a quiet reminder that healing takes time. You don't have to rush it. You don't have to make it meaningful yet. You just have to breathe… and give it a year. This week we have...Mike and Bill and Mike had an announcement! Yes, you need to listen to hear it.And we had a bit of a technical glitch at about 4 or 5 minutes into into the episode. Just hang in with us, because we worked through it and no. We didn't edit anything.Mike started out with his reading and it was about the pace of life. Before we got sober it was all chaos, intensity and drama. But now, for the most part, we have peace in our lives and when we don't, we know how to get back to it. The reading was great and we had a good conversation. We talked about willingness, feeling inadequate (and why we shouldn't), being selfish in recovery and showing people that we care. And we have a family weekend coming up this weekend. We will all be in Chippewa Lake, Ohio and it's going to be wonderful.Enjoy the episode.Visit usPodcast www.sobernotmature.comStore www.sobernotmatureshop.comHobo www.themoderndayhobo.com

Is Your Inflammation Network Keeping You Stuck in Migraine Pain? Did you know your body has an inflammation network—a built-in security system designed to protect you, but for many women with migraines, it's stuck in overdrive? In this powerful episode, I'm breaking down a lesser-known (but crucial) piece of the chronic pain puzzle: the inflammation network. This internal system should act like a rapid-response team, jumping in when needed and backing off when the threat is gone. But for many women—especially those dealing with migraines—it's stuck in the “on” position, fueling daily discomfort, gut issues, hormonal chaos, and relentless head pain. This episode is your roadmap to understanding what's really happening underneath the symptoms—and how we start resetting that overactive system from the inside out. In this episode, you'll learn: What the inflammation network is—and why it matters more than you think Why gut issues, joint pain, brain fog, and migraines may all be connected How chronic stress and electrolyte imbalances over-activate your sensors What “inflammatory mediators” are (and how Type A women can amplify them) Why your poop, pain, and hormone health are speaking the same language How the 6 Keys of the Migraine Freedom™ Protocol help reboot your system What it actually looks like when your body's “alarm” finally shuts off If you've ever said, “I've tried everything and nothing works,” this episode will help you understand why—and where to go next.

It's not uncommon to hear ringing, buzzing, humming or hissing sounds that can't be heard by anyone else. The medical term for these symptoms is tinnitus. The sounds may affect both ears, or just one. If you're lucky, they're a temporary or intermittent problem, but for some people they can be more severe, affecting their daily lives. 2019 figures from the British Tinnitus Association suggested that persistent tinnitus affects 1 in 8 people. Occasional ringing in the ears is nothing to worry about. It's when it lasts for longer than a few minutes that you may wish to consult a GP. Bear in mind that tinnitus itself isn't actually a disease. The sounds are symptoms of other disorders and health conditions. Where does it come from? Does it get worse with age? Are there any treatments for permanent tinnitus? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions! To listen to the latest episodes, click here: How can I beat a hangover? Roy-G Biv Todays Mnemonic Everything is coming up?????-Alright, Grandpa Bill, let's weave this very personal and important detail into our discussion. It adds another layer of depth and relatability to my message of working with our bodies and minds, especially when facing unique challenges. Here's how we can build upon the mnemonic and memory palace.Building on my A-S-R, let's incorporate the specific experience of my left ear and the mastoid treatment history. Add a "L" for "Left Ear Legacy" and a "B" for "Better Still" to reflect the current improvement.L-A-S-R-B:Left Ear Legacy: Acknowledging the history of partial deafness due to the past mastoid treatment.Air Pressure Push: Remembering the sensation of the air during the recent procedure.Suction Sound Swirl: Recalling the sound of the suction in both ears.Ringing Release (with a lingering ring): Acknowledging the post-procedure ringing in the left ear, but emphasizing the overall improvement.Better Still: Highlighting the positive outcome and increased clarity despite the ringing. The Door (Air Pressure Push): Keep the gentle breeze, symbolizing the initial air sensation in both ears.MYFavorite Chair (Suction Sound Swirl): The swirling sound can still represent the suction in both ears. The Window (Ringing Release with a lingering ring): When you look out the window, the view is clearer overall, but perhaps I notice a faint, persistent shimmering or a subtle echo in the distance, representing the lingering ringing in my left ear.A Specific Object Near Your Chair (Left Ear Legacy): could be a small, slightly muted speaker, serving as a reminder of its unique journey.Looking Towards Another Part of the Room (Better Still): Shift my mental focus to another part of the room that feels brighter and clearer, symbolizing the overall improvement in my hearing.Workouts for Geriatrics: Grandpa Bill's Two-Ear Tale - Past Challenges, Present Clarity!Silver Streakers: My Left Ear's Journey - From Mastoid to Maybe More Hearing!Grandpa Bill's Holistic Hour: A Little Ringing, A Lot of Relief - My Earwax Expedition Continues!Hearing My Way Through It: Grandpa Bill's Update on Ear Health and Mineral Testing. The 1-92 Workout: Listen Closely! My Ear Story & the Importance of Mineral Balance.#GrandpaBillsKennelKelpHolisticHealingHour,#SilverStreakers,#WorkoutsForGeriatrics,#EarwaxRemovalJourney,#LeftEarStory,#MastoidTreatment,#PartialHearing,#RingingEars,#HearingImprovement,#MineralDeficiencyTesting,#HonestHealthTalk,#GeriatricHealth,#SeniorWellness,#HealthForAllAges,#MemoryAndHealing,Grandpa Bill and my left ear. Now, as some of you know, when I was just a young whippersnapper of five, I had a mastoid treatment on this side. It wasn't entirely successful, and I've lived with partial hearing in my left ear ever since. So, going into this earwax removal, I had a little extra hope.Grandpa Bill: States="The procedure yesterday… well, it was interesting. I did notice a bit more ringing in my left ear afterward, that's for sure. But you know what? Even with that little serenade, I can honestly say it feels… better still! There's a clarity I haven't experienced in a good long while."Grandpa Bill: " updated memory tool is L-A-S-R-B. Left ear legacy, remembering its history. The familiar Air pressure push and Suction sound swirl. Then, Ringing release – yes, there's still a bit of a ring on the left, but overall, a release of pressure. And the most important part? Better still! In my mind's memory palace, near my comfy chair, I've placed a little old-fashioned speaker – a nod to my left ear's journey. But when I look towards the window, the view is brighter, clearer. That's the 'better still' feeling. And guess what's next in this health adventure? Blood work to check for any mineral deficiencies. We're leaving no stone unturned in this quest for feeling our best, mind and body!"
Story at-a-glance A recent large-scale meta-analysis found that people who ate more fruit had significantly lower odds of developing tinnitus than those with low fruit intake Dairy, fiber, and caffeine showed protective benefits as well. Moderate intake of these foods improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and supported inner ear stability A separate study also found that consuming butter and legumes helped calm tinnitus symptoms and stabilize auditory nerve activity MSG and aspartame aggravated symptoms by overstimulating nerves. These common additives disrupt your brain chemistry, heighten auditory sensitivity, and worsen tinnitus by triggering excitotoxic reactions, especially in sensitive individuals Eating whole foods and avoiding excitotoxins is a key strategy. Eliminate processed foods and focus on nutrient-rich meals to reduce nerve overload, balance blood sugar, and protect your auditory system
