We're heading deep into the haunted heart of Savannah, Georgia to uncover the chilling true story of the Gribble House and the brutal 1909 axe murders that left the city shaken. What starts as a tragic true crime case quickly spirals into something far stranger, complete with ghost sightings, bloodstains that reappear on the walls, and one of the most bizarre investigation tactics we've ever heard of: police hiring an actor to pretend to be a ghost in hopes of scaring a confession out of the killer. Yes, really. We unravel the lives of the three women who called the Gribble House home, the disturbing investigation surrounding J.C. Hunter, and the lingering hauntings that still surround the property more than a century later. Plus, we have a listener story from a paranormal investigation of the Gribble House site, complete with EVPs. Watch the video version here. Have ghost stories of your own? E-mail them to us at twogirlsoneghostpodcast@gmail.com New Episodes are released every Thursday and Sunday at 12am PST/3am EST (the witching hour, of course). Send us Fan MailHi everybody and welcome to Attendance Bias. I am your host Brian Weinstein. By now, we are off and running. The tour started in Madison, WI for the long-awaited return to the Kohl Center, we spent a 3-night run at the long-time favorite Deer Creek, and now it's time to visit the dirty south to visit a brand new venue–both in construction and for Phish–the Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. Not only is the venue new to Phish, but imagine my surprise during my research when I found out that Phish has never played in Savannah before. This summer we are going to witness a first! On top of breaking ground in the historic city, they're also playing for two nights! All that said, this means there's a lot of unknowns for fans traveling to Georgia for these two shows.Luckily, today's guests have you covered. Earth and Jessie live in Savannah, and have plenty to say about their hometown. I helped guide the conversation during the recording, but I feel like I could have asked one question: “Tell me about Enmarket Arena and what there is to do in Savannah” and we would have everything we need to know for Phish's visit. Actually, even though I'm not going to these two shows, I was ready to book a flight to Savannah just to try and do all of the recommendations Earth and Jessie gave during today's conversation! They cover everything: what to do, where to eat, where to drink, where to walk, and even where to get zoned out by floors made of crystal and glass containing dinosaur fossils. But also more practical details like what the area around the venue is like, how to get there, where to park…you know, the stuff this podcast series is for. But let's hear it from Earth and Jessie, as they are pumped for Phish's two shows at the Enmarket Arena on July 14 and 15, 2026.Support the show

The crew welcomes Dev Cannon, who exemplifies the CAF mission by going from aviation newcomer to Music City Wing Commander in just a few years, leading 70 volunteers in preserving warbird history. Dev explains how the CAF's 19,000 international members keep aviation heritage alive through everything from flyovers at memorial services to introducing kids to aviation, proving that "if you show up at an event and say, how can I participate? Like you're in." The organization welcomes everyone—pilots, mechanics, historians, and aviation enthusiasts—because as Dev notes, they "can use all the hands they can get." The episode highlights their PT-19 "Miss Cornelia," named after local aviation pioneer Cornelia Fort, and how these living history lessons help veterans and families share stories that might otherwise be lost. Ben discovers breakfast so good at Guntersville that he's "considering buying a junker and donating it to the airport," while celebrating his landing redemption with the signature "kid rock arrival." Ted's camping plans crater with three shredded tubes, Brian defends "Bachelorette Super Charlie" terminology, and everyone agrees that whether you want to maintain aircraft, research history, or just "ring wars" to draw crowds, the CAF provides meaningful ways to give back to aviation while connecting with our flying heritage.Mentioned on the show:Ted's video about tire travails: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VsDs_ZVDEQ8A1 - Guntersville Alabama: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guntersville_Municipal_AirportHomecoming & Company, Guntersville Alabama: https://homecomingandco.com/airportcrewcars- Alabama: https://airportcourtesycars.com/alabama/Savannah Georgia airport: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savannah/Hilton_Head_International_AirportThe Rehearsal, Vulture interview that discusses Killing Zone: https://archive.ph/Ft43GM54 - Lebanon Airport: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebanon_Municipal_Airport_(Tennessee)Commemorative Air Force Music City Wing: https://www.cafmusiccity.org/Fairchild PT-19: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairchild_PT-19CAF Music City's PT-19: https://www.commemorativeairforce.org/aircraft/196Who was Cornelia Fort? https://commemorativeairforce.org/news/cornelia-fort-a-legacy-of-courage-takes-flightSNJ4 (Navy T-6): https://commemorativeairforce.org/aircraft/85CAF Peachtree City: https://airbasegeorgia.org/Support the Podcast:Join our amazing Patreon community for just $1/month and get access to exclusive content, check ride debriefs, and the best pilot community on the internet. Then, there was a time when New York's Waldorf Astoria was the epitome of a great hotel … until the Chinese Communist Party bought it. What could possibly go wrong? Our writer Ben Ryder Howe reports.
