One of the things that inspires me about Jarred, is his visionary nature, and how he can take things from idea to action very quickly. Alec has always been creative, and very inquisitive, really taking a different approach to his art and ideas from a super young age, not just in his content, but in his mind and in other creative forms like woodwork and landscaping. We talk about Alec earlier career, and how he made the transition into full time content creation, from his first client all the way to now working all over the world alongside some incredible people, in particular Steve Cook who Alec now lives with for most of the year. Alec has some crazy stories to share, from packing up within days to move overseas, to some of the wild adventures he has had during his travels, but what I love about this episode and Alec, is his love and passion for what he does, and really wanting to produce the best work that he can. In this Episode, We talk to Luke King, a Motorsport athlete based on the Central Coast, and is one of those people who doesn’t give up. He is proof that persistence pays off, and we are super excited to have him on the bridge the gap podcast. When we caught up, he had just come off an incredible season in the Toyota 86 series the year before, but what I love about this episode is when we go back to where it all began, almost 20 years ago.Luke takes us on the journey of why he started in the 86’s, where his passion started and explains some of the hardest and frustrating times of his career. Balancing business, relationship and racing at a high level has taken huge effort and persistence, and I’ve personally seen some of the hardships Luke has faced. At the 16 minute mark, you can hear how one of the biggest adversities went down and how he dealt and overcame it all. Luke passes on some of the key pieces of advice that he received in the last few years, which helped him thought his career, and also give him perspective in his life. We talk about the business side of motorsport and talk about the reality of motorsport racing. It’s an incredibly tough industry, and not only has Luke not been stopped by the walls that have been put in front of him, but he has taken them, shifted his perspective and looked at how he can make anything work in his career.Find Luke on Instagram at @lukekingracingSupport us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/btgtodayContact us at contact@btgtoday.com.auFind our all new apparel at www.btgtoday.com.au--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Instagram - @btgtoday--------------------------------------------------------------------------------TikTok - @btgtoday--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Facebook - Facebook.com/btgtoday

At this point in his life, Jack didn’t understand how to deal with emotions, and explains that when we don’t show emotions naturally, they come out in other ways, sometimes and even often times in rebellion and aggression, anxiety and depression. But it’s the advice that Jack gives on the back of this story that really hits the nail on the head at just over the half way point of this episode. This is Episode number 9 with Dylan Nicholson.Dylan is the definition of a young gun, having already travelled overseas for water polo, experiencing quite a tough time and choosing to remove himself from the toxic environment he was in. He moved out of home and manifested an opportunity up in Byron Bay that almost sounds too good to be true. He’s been able to create a living for himself with speaking, content creation, a podcast and when he gives us a taste into what’s coming in 2020 for him, it sounds like he really hasn’t even scratched the surface. Dylan not only has an incredibly enthusiastic personality, but he’s continually saying yes to opportunities and just going for it, which made this a personal favourite of mine because of how much of this resonated with me and made me realise that I was holding back! I believe Dylan is rising to the top, and in this episode, which is shorter than usual, I can guarantee you will take away at least one piece of gold.Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/btgtodayContact us at contact@btgtoday.com.auFind our all new apparel at www.btgtoday.com.au--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Instagram - @btgtoday--------------------------------------------------------------------------------TikTok - @btgtoday--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Facebook - Facebook.com/btgtoday
