In this sermon Elder Charles looks at the various instances from Jesus Christ's personal ministry interacting and healing others, and how the Lord is still working today in the lives of His people as a personal savior.
The letter of Colossians was written by Paul to a church he had not been to, to people he had not met. The letter no doubt was a blessing to that church then and is still blessing churches today.
Peter alludes to several Old Testament passages in his 1st letter, most notably the 40th and 53rd chapters of Isaiah and the 34th Psalm. In this message brother Cole looks at what in these passages would have been comforting to Peter and those who read it.
The result of sin brings a separation from God. A child of God cannot fall from grace or be separated eternally from the Lord, but if we are not careful we can be separated from fellowship with the Lord in this life.

In this message Elder Kevin Lofton looks at the different aspects and types of fear from a biblical perspective.
In the Old Testament worship was offering physical sacrifices to God. In the New Testament we are still told to offer sacrifices, but of a different nature.
Sin separates us from the Lord in that by knowing we are sinners we keep away from following the Lord. The gospel declares Christ put away our sins and gives us confidence to approach Him.
The word of God gives us instructions for avoiding captivity. Just like the Israelites experienced captivity to another nation, we can become captives of this world if we are not careful.
As the Lord's people we are told to sing praises unto God. The greatest thing we can do while here on the earth is gather together singing praises unto our God. Is He not worthy of our praise?
In Psalm 52 David describes the blessings of dwelling in the house of the Lord as being a green olive tree. There are characteristics of the olive tree that are very similar to the benefits we gain from the Lord.
Creation changes, man changes, nearly everything in life changes, but thankfully our God never changes.

The Lord judges in this life. His people are covered by the blood of Christ from the eternal judgement, but the Bible speaks of judgements and plagues that can come upon them while on the earth. In this message elder Kevin Lofton discusses avoiding those plagues.
Although David's house was not so with God while alive on the earth, just as the case is for us all, he trusted in the Lord's covenant. When we understand the covenant of grace and sureness of it we can truly have peace in this life.
Physicians usually give orders to their patients to keep them healthy and avoid sickness returning. Our Lord as the Great Physician often gave instructions to those He healed and that sought healing.
Where Christ is, there is light. Those born again are able to see light, and as disciples of Christ we are to walk in the light, and shine a light.
Throughout scripture God foretells of things that His people would do as a result of their pride that would bring God's judgement, but He does not leave us confused. He gives instructions for when judgements come and how we are to respond.
Daniel spoke of a stone that would become a mountain speaking of the Kingdom of God. The Lord taught His disciples about this mountain and that this kingdom would never end.
Paul referred to himself as a pattern. The salvation of Paul is a pattern every child of God has followed by the grace of God.
The gospel message should encourage and enlighten every individual regardless of their age
Despite the popular belief, the Old and New Testaments do not teach different ways of eternal salvation, but when rightly divided harmonize that all are saved the same way by grace.
The foundation of what we believe, what we teach, and how we live, should be built upon the truth of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
