“Y aquel varón Moisés era muy manso, más que todos los hombres que había sobre la tierra” Números 12:3.Hoy vamos a hablar de un tema tan común que hemos llegado a normalizarlo: la furia, el enojo y la irritación. A veces la vemos como algo pasajero o una simple "forma de ser", pero la Biblia nos muestra que es un peligro latente que puede destruir nuestro presente y nuestro futuro.La furia, el enojo y la irritación es traicionera, aparece sin que la llamemos; nadie pide una partícula de ira para enfrentar a alguien. Simplemente aparece, lista para dañarlo todo.La Bíblia habla de un hombre llamado Moisés, en él siempre hubo una lucha constante con el carácter agresivo, encontramos a un Moisés iracundo y altamente reactivo; un hombre que, por momentos, era dominado por la furia, el enojo y la irritación.Le voy a mostrar un versículo que me parece increíble de algo que no se debe hacer. Mire lo que es capaz de provocar la ira en Éxodo 32:19: "Y aconteció que cuando él llegó al campamento, y vio el becerro y las danzas, ardió la ira de Moisés, y arrojó las tablas de sus manos, y las quebró al pie del monte" Éxodo 32:19. Moisés acababa de arruinar la obra de arte más grande de la historia, escrita por el mismo dedo de Dios. Venía de pasar un mes con Dios, pero la furia, el enojo y la irritación lo hizo desobedecer con los 12 mandamientos en la mano.Aquí está el gran problema y es que la furia, el enojo y la irritación termina rompiendo lo más sagrado que Dios nos ha dado: los hijos, la familia, los amigos.Hay personas que confunden la grosería con la sinceridad; dicen: "es que yo soy directo", pero en realidad están golpeando a los demás con sus palabras; La ira no es "sinceridad". Tu no eres sincero, tu eres grosero, y eso es distinto. Tu puedes ser sincero sin herir ni golpear con tus palabras, por tal razón no confundamos la furia, el enojo y la irritación con algo pasajero; estamos olvidándonos del carácter de Cristo en nosotros. Hay mucha gente con influencia, pero sin carácter.Cuando aparece la furia, el enojo y la irritación, algunos tiemblan, otros se ponen rojos, otros hacen sonidos extraños: Gruñen. El cuerpo reacciona: los gestos, los ojos, las miradas y, qué decir de las palabras que vienen a romper y acabar con la vida de otro. Por eso puedo decir on toda la certeza que la furia, el enojo y la irritación es traicionera; no la subestime.El perfil de un hombre transformadoPara entender esto, miremos la vida de Moisés. La Biblia nos da un reporte final de su carácter en un momento de su vida: "Y aquel varón Moisés era muy manso, más que todos los hombres que había sobre la tierra" Números 12:3 es un testimonio asombroso, pero Moisés no nació así, su mansedumbre fue el resultado de un proceso largo y doloroso con Dios. La furia, el enojo y la irritación no es algo que se maneja de forma ligera; es traicionera, aparece sin que la llamemos y está lista para dañarlo todo.Las características y el funcionamiento de la furia, el enojo y la irritaciónLa furia, el enojo y la irritación no pide permiso para entrar. Cuando aparece, toma el control de nuestro cuerpo, alma y espíritu: (ministración de perdón con la familia, los hijos…)El secuestro cerebral: Científicamente, cuando nos airamos, la amígdala cerebral (La amígdala cerebral es una estructura en forma de almendra en el lóbulo temporal, crucial para procesar emociones “especialmente miedo y ansiedad”, la memoria emocional, la atención y la cognición social) toma el mando. Esta es la parte impulsiva que activa el modo de lucha o huida. En ese instante, se le quita el control a la parte ejecutiva del cerebro, la que nos hace pensar, saludar y ser empático.La distorsión del otro: Bajo el efecto de la furia, el enojo y la irritación, la amígdala nos hace ver a quien tenemos enfrente —ya sea un hijo, un cónyuge o un amigo— como un enemigo al que debemos eliminar o humillar.La manifestación física: El cuerpo reacciona; temblores, rostros rojos, miradas de odio y palabras que salen para romper la vida del otro. Ingresamos a Villa Hermosa, una de las zonas más azotadas por la violencia en San Miguel Petapa, a escasos 16 kilómetros de la Ciudad de Guatemala. Es un barrio donde, por 10 años, las pandillas han ejercido un control implacable, apoderándose de las propiedades y desplazando a sus habitantes, quienes huyen para no ser asesinados. En Villa Hermosa, logramos contactar a una vecina del sector que sobrevive vendiendo ropa y zapatos usados. Por su seguridad y petición expresa, mantendremos su identidad en reserva. “Dejan las casas abandonadas” “Mire, en una casita que está por allá atrás, la cerraron, porque dijeron que sí, habían invadido. Sí, mareros, pero lograron sacar a esa gente”, cuenta la mujer de 65 años que vive en este sector de Villa Hermosa desde hace 38 años, pero asegura que los últimos 10 años la delincuencia aumentó exponencialmente. “Pónganle, pónganle que ellos se dedican a extorsionar, los mareros, extorsionar, roban las baterías de los carros”, dice. “Fíjese que ahí lo que hemos oído es que los dueños ya no pueden llegar porque los amenazan y todo. Ya dejan ahí las casitas abandonadas”, prosigue. “Porque aquí era bien tranquilo (…) Pero siempre, mire, ahorita con el temor de que viene la Navidad, va uno a comprar con aquel temor de que le quiten a uno cualquier cosa, los centavitos, cuando uno va a comprar”, afirma. Otra ex vecina de Villa Hermosa, quien se fue del lugar hace años debido a la delincuencia, cuenta su experiencia. Ella también prefiere mantenerse en el anonimato: “Los que estamos más vulnerables acá somos los que vivimos a diario la inseguridad total, tanto del Ministerio de Gobernación, del mismo Gobierno y de todas las instituciones del Estado, que serían los obligados y encargados de velar por la ciudadanía, no lo hacen, porque ellos son parte de eso también”, considera. “Transformadas en bases de operaciones” “Abandonar el hogar, como opción ante amenazas de muerte. En esos casos específicos, es mucho más fácil apropiarse de esas casas que quedan en abandono. El principal mecanismo que facilita esa usurpación es esa coacción económica que se ejerce contra la población. Económica, violenta. Las viviendas afectadas se encuentran en la mayoría de los casos en zonas marginales, marginalidad social, que por definición ya tienen limitado acceso a servicios básicos e incluso a la justicia formal, debido a esta idea de criminalización de la pobreza”, explica a RFI Ludwin Álvarez, antropólogo y consultor experto en seguridad y justicia. “Esas casas que están ubicadas en zonas de alta densidad, como la zona 18, Mixco, Villanueva, son transformadas casi siempre en bases de operaciones, en puntos de distribución para narcotraficantes, o centros de planificación para extorsiones. Entonces, al controlar esos espacios se refuerza como la gobernanza criminal. Ahí se imponen reglas, se limita la acción policial y eso es fundamental para mantener ese flujo de ingresos ilícitos que sostienen su estructura y también ese territorio criminal”, analiza. “Actualmente la tasa nacional en Guatemala es mucho menor, es de 16 por cada 100 mil habitantes. Entonces, la respuesta institucional a ese contexto de violencia ha sido, por lo general, por lo menos en la actualidad, la gestión ordinaria de la crisis y el conflicto”, concluye Álvarez. La impunidad y la falta de Estado de derecho La fuga de 20 reos causó en la población una alarma y un miedo generalizado. Algunas personas prefieren no hablar del tema por temor a represalias por las pandillas. Entre los más afectados del área metropolitana están Ciudad de Guatemala y municipios como Mixco, Villa Nueva, Villa Canales, San Juan Sacatepéquez, San Miguel Petapa, Chinautla y Amatitlán. En dichas áreas operan con más frecuencia las maras, tanto el Barrio 18 como la Mara Salvatrucha. Según medios locales que viralizaron esta información en las últimas semanas, hay 13 mil denuncias por usurpación en el país. En ese mismo período, el Estado ejecutó 99 desalojos, es decir, solo el 0.76 % de las víctimas logró recuperar su propiedad. Según Astrid Escobedo, especialista en democracia y violencia, “las mayores causas de esto es por la falta de Estado de derecho y la falta de control, además porque los políticos se dejaron comprar por los delincuentes, son los que los eligen entonces no hay quien pueda combatirlos”. “La gente sale de su país por la violencia y están los que deben huir con sus hijos principalmente adolescentes, y si no huyen los grupos del narcotráfico los están reclutando y si no quieren ser parte de las estructuras criminales los matan”, subraya. Las estructuras criminales siguen operando a nivel nacional sin ningún problema porque las condiciones las mantienen bien fortalecidas desde hace décadas, como también la usurpación de viviendas que se ha normalizado. El objetivo final de este control territorial es mantener el flujo de ingresos ilícitos que sostienen tanto a la estructura criminal como al territorio criminal que han establecido, según expertos.

De este simpático cuento sacamos la moraleja evidente de que no podemos obtener ciertas cosas, por mucho que las queramos o por ingeniosos o buenos regateadores que seamos, si no tenemos con qué pagar el precio establecido. ¿Será por eso mismo que Dios, que se especializa en hacer las cosas a la inversa de como las hacemos nosotros, decidió ya hace dos milenios que nos regalaría lo que más vale en todo el mundo? Sí, pero conste que nuestro Padre celestial no decidió ofrecérnoslo sin costo alguno, pues si bien era un regalo, alguien tendría que pagar el precio. Eso que más vale es nuestra redención del pecado, y el que tuvo que pagar el precio para que pudiéramos así obtener la salvación y la vida eterna fue Jesucristo. El apóstol Pablo enseña que si bien la paga de nuestro pecado es la muerte, el regalo que nos ofrece Dios es la vida eterna. Quizás alguien te bendijo con dinero para pagar una factura o comprar útiles escolares. Quizás su “ángel de la guarda” llamó su atención y lo ayudó a evitar un accidente grave. Todos esos son signos de la fidelidad de Dios. Mire a su alrededor con sus “ojos de fe” y vea las señales que lo rodean.
