This was a fiction prompt with quite a few different directions...And since I didn't do a specific example when I wrote it way back, I did one here.
And there was this one time I got asked a couple questions by a clerk at the post office.Unexpected, but I learned a lot from it.
Snow is useful for quite a few different things, even if it's not the season for it...
This is a bit of follow-up from last week, with a friend of a friend who landed a role in a movie. But with a different twist on it, to make it a writing prompt, of course.
This is how I realized acting and writing (as well as other creative endeavors) have things in common on the marketing side (as well as the persistence side).
Because of course, the idea of goals is a bit too abstract for me at times.
So in 2015, I did a year in review thing.I got some more and some less done than I thought...
This one's about routine, pacing yourself, and knowing when and how to use your creative juice...
And so the prompts in 2015 ended (and I needed to remember to write a different number at the end of the year when I wrote dates on stuff soon after).Which is where the idea for the prompt came from.
A bit more about the relative whose funeral I went to, since I didn't know much of his circumstances until after.
This happened years ago, but the reasons I reflect on it still persist.
So we've moved on from the crossword clue prompts, and this was my first crack at going it on my own, back then.
***I do talk about end of life as a concept here, so be warned.***Otherwise, this is about a strategy I found useful to get creative stuff done, in the midst of also doing work for others.Since of course, there's always work to be done.
A barebones way to make a writing prompt in this case, but I think it works for what it is.
It's a number of reasons, but they work for most or all creatively driven disciplines.
This one's about a fictional character (or another character) and a real type of amphibian (I think that's what this creature's called).
This is about me, a bit about Canada, and some about Australia too...
Another one from crossword land this week. Hope you enjoy it.
This day comes around once a year, and I forgot it's come around quite a bit more than I realized...
This is about ducks, at least in part...
