It's tempting to camp out in the familiar parts of Scripture, reading about Jesus in the Gospels, and maybe dipping into Genesis and Exodus. But when we skip the rest, we miss the beauty of God's story unfolding over centuries. Today, Pastor Ken will show you how the prophecy of Amos fulfilled prophecy from Genesis. The prophets, the psalms, the histories—all of it points forward to Jesus and shows how God keeps His promises, often hundreds of years after they were spoken. 

In a world obsessed with power, influence, and control, it's easy for the Church to get swept up in the idea of taking dominion and shaping the world to fit our vision. But Jesus didn't commission us to seize thrones or legislate kingdoms. He called us to something far deeper: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” Today, Pastor Ken will explain that your mission isn't to rule the world, but to reach it—with the gospel, with love, and with truth. You are called to conquer hearts, not conquer territories.

Some people treat God like a private well—something they own, control, and draw from whenever they need refreshment. But God doesn't belong to us as a possession; we belong to Him as His creation, His children, His redeemed people. When we flip that perspective, everything changes—our priorities, our obedience, and our worship. Pastor Ken will explore with you today how surrendering to God's rightful ownership frees you to live fully for Him, and that's the best place you could ever be.
