One of the most incredible aspects of 12 step programs is the presence of God! It's a philosophy I can truly believe in, one I can embrace and hold dear at my own speed. For me, my higher power is often called Hope, Vision, a picture of the future, or simply Imagination. I concentrate on the middle ground, and God then asks me a question: What are the potential paths you could take, and what possibilities exist for achieving those goals? And together, we explore those possibilities.

Let's take a look at Hebrews 8:1-10:18 in both the CSV and NIV to get a clearer understanding.

We possess an insatiable thirst for knowledge, a divine gift bestowed upon us. We extend our prayers to newcomers, offering them solace and guidance. When they weigh heavily on our hearts, we recite Psalm 23 for three days, seeking divine intervention and support. We fervently pray for their success and well-being. Today, I extended similar support to a newcomer who joined Alcoholics Anonymous. He will be receiving 11 months of sobriety and enthusiastic to be part, a 55 year old has join the sobriety gang!

AA can be a great way to live, and sometimes, a little self-awareness can lead to positive change. It's okay to acknowledge your mistakes and express gratitude for the opportunity to grow.
