Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... (First published on August 12, 2024) Thanking God for those things and people HE has placed in our lives is one of the greatest weapons of spiritual warfare. Remembering daily to be thankful to God continually. Keeping yourself in the love of God ... living in joy. Fighting the good fight of faith. Living continually in peace, without spot, blameless. (2 Peter 3:14) Helping others to have the best they can have through encouragement in good as we have been given good. Edifying others in the grace of God and word of God. Keeping good in our heart so good comes from our mouth. Living in joy and peace.

Feeling divinely prompted to speak to someone broken down on a motorcycle on "the Dragon" (a road). Initially hesitant due to being late for church. Engaging in a conversation about Jesus Christ and being born again. Weeping and sharing personal testimony. Warning the young man about the dangers of dying without salvation. "If you die on this dragon, you'll die and go to hell." Praying with the young man, who ultimately declined to be saved at that moment.

Series: Teach Us to Pray: Lessons from Old Testament Prayers Scripture: 1 Samuel 1-2 Speaker: Pastor David HallettDoes God really care? This is the question we often ask when things go wrong in our life. How should we respond in difficulties, in trials, in things that bring anguish and pain? Do we lash out? Do we feel sorry for ourselves? Do we pray? The story of Hannah and her son Samuel opens the book of 1 Samuel and tells us about not only God's compassion and care for this forlorn woman, but also His love and care for His people as a whole. Her prayer comes from a heart that is broken, full of misery and despair. Hannah turns to the only One who can help her—God. Does God really care? Hannah tells us emphatically “Yes!”

Thanking God for good writing in The Holy SpirtMonthly newsletter Praise News.
Today's Topics: 1) Gospel - Mark 4:26-34 - Jesus said to the crowds: “This is how it is with the Kingdom of God; it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how. Of its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once, for the harvest has come.” He said, “To what shall we compare the Kingdom of God, or what parable can we use for it? It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth. But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.” With many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to understand it. Without parables He did not speak to them, but to His own disciples He explained everything in private. Memorial of Saint John Bosco, Priest Saint John, pray for us! Thanking God for resurrection Vision Prayer Night - 15/16th January 2025. Thanksgiving and the need for heroes in our ministry
Why praise the Lord, what are there any benefits? who established these rules? or the suggestions or these recommendations? What is his name? Tell me I don't understand why I should thank the Lord when I hit my big toe with a hammer? That's what a friend of mine told me an educator of 34 years, he says he stubbed his toe on the corner of the bed, but to get a person‘s attention and to work on their imagination, he says I hit my toe with a hammer? Leaves us with an open mind. Amen. Thanking God for all things is the way to go, if you don't agree, the Earth will stop at noon and let you off.

No battle for us as followers of Christ is in our thoughts, putting a rubber band in our wrist reminds us to acknowledge the Lord in all our ways and he shall direct our steps. Putting a rubber band in our wrist and Thanking God! when we messed up sounds Ludacris and we snap it on our wrist on the tender part when we mess up and say thank you God I messed up, thank you, God I'm a misfit, thank you God I did that. You know why because we're not playing God we are acknowledging God we are being humble with God. We are cleaning our arteries from pride, self-sufficiency anger, resentment, any type of junk that is against us for when we snap our wrist and say thank you God I had that good or bad. We screen the thought! YES screen it, we screen the thoughts! Thank you, Jesus for that thought! Then the thought is sorted out. If it's of the enemy, it is flushed. If it's from God, it is healing ointment for us. If it's from ourselves it's a prayer and we scream our own prayers.
Reading a chapter 15 God secret weapon where are thoughts coming from ?Thanking God! for our thoughts it automatically eliminates the bad ones and if they're of God, it amplify them. Amen

Thanking God is more than just a good thing to do, it's also good for us. It helps us grow a healthy faith relationship with God that enables us to overcome struggles in all areas of life: anxiety, idolatry, depression, suffering, and lethargy, to name just a few. Thankfulness is like a vitamin to the Christian life. God uses it to support the development of a faith and character that overcomes the challenges we face in a broken world. Little wonder Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to, “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”. Let's explore why and how we can do that in “all circumstances”. Join us at cefc.church.#Christianlife #Thankfulness #Gratitude #Faith #Overcomer

Today we celebrate Thanksgiving. Many of us have gathered to enjoy a day filled with conversation, an abundance of food, and perhaps some football. If you're like me, many of these long-held holiday traditions could wind up filling the day so full that we actually forget to pause and give thanks to God for His many blessings. This year, I've resolved to spend some time alone to pause and give thanks to God. I encourage you to do the same. I'm going to go outside and look around. I am grateful for my eyesight and for the all the beautiful things he put in the world for me to see. I will thank God for the people he has placed in my life. I will thank him for the luxuries of life that I tend to take for granted as if I deserve them. Finally, I am going to thank God for the difficulties of life. Perhaps your circumstances have you focused on your difficulties. If so, give thanks. It is through difficulties that God leads us to a deeper faith and dependence on Him.

Thanking God for 7 years. Let's continue to grow together.
September 24th is a momentous calendar date in our home as four of our share a birthday on it. Yep! Both our sets of twins are born on the same day, eight years apart. Of course, something that could only be a “God thing” is such a good reminder His ways are higher than mine—from the way He orchestrated their birthdays to the fact that He gave me twins at all, even though I was convinced they sounded hard and no fun. Be encouraged, friends that God's sovereignty is a very good thing, even when it manifests in unexpected ways.
