Marhanda Keeping is a physiotherapist based out of Airdrie, Alberta Canada, and works out of Airdrie Physiotherapy and Massage. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. Marhanda has completed 3 levels of pelvic floor physiotherapy training. This includes treatment of: incontinence (involuntary leaking of urine), organ prolapse, pelvic pain, bladder pain, and persistent low back pain referring to/from the pelvic floor. She gained an interest in this area from her own experience at a young age. Further, pelvic floor physiotherapy was an interest of Marhanda's as it encompasses her core philosophy of open and honest communication in a judgement free setting. Beyond a pelvic floor specialty, Marhanda has a deeper education in persistent pain and nervous system hypersenitivity for those who have struggled with long-term pain in any area of the body. Marhanda is also trained in intramuscular stimulation (dry-needling). She uses what she has learned to complimenther fundamental treatment approach of: exercise, education, and empowering her clients. On her time off, Marhanda tries to stay active with hikin, biking, and tennis. Megan Barefoot graduated with a BSc. in Science from the University of Windsor and worked downtown Calgary as a professional geologist for over ten years. Tammy Plunkett left her career as a registered nurse to stay home and raise her four children. It turned out that she could only take so much Sesame Street and returned to her first love—writing. Tammy spent a few years working solely in fiction then switched gears to non-fiction while she practiced as a life coach and writing coach. After her third child came out as transgender, she focused her work on helping parents of transgender kids and volunteering on the executive board with Airdrie Pride.
